Something like air suddenly exploded forward from the area above the eyebrows (slightly closer to the right eye).

With that explosion, a shock wave seemed to emanate from between the eyebrows and travel forward about 5 to 10 meters.

At that time, I was working, sitting at my desk, typing on the keyboard, and looking at the display. Before that, I had been feeling a bit dizzy, but I was still within working hours, so I was trying to manage it. Suddenly, I felt something, and my gaze shifted to the right, towards the front (behind).

It's possible that the sound was heard by someone, but surprisingly, there was no reaction from those around me. Perhaps only I could hear it, or maybe most people were focused on their work and weren't paying attention to such sounds.

It felt like compressed air was being released, and it felt like an explosion about the size of a soccer ball. The shockwave seemed to spread over a wider area, but generally, it was about the size of a ball, with a shockwave of about 1 meter radius around it. Also, the smaller parts of the shockwave might have reached 5 meters or more in front.

A similar explosion had occurred in my chest a while ago, and I understood it as an experience of the chakra in the front opening.

If that's the case, it's possible that the third eye in the front opened. I'll observe it for a while. Recently, my awareness has been increasing, and my vision and sight have become clearer, so there's a possibility that this is related. However, I haven't suddenly started seeing things that I couldn't see before. I think this kind of awareness is an expansion of normal vision, so the increase in awareness might be an extension of that.

In the writings of Professor Honsan Hiroshi, there is the following:

"I experience a bright white light coming from between my eyebrows." "Esoteric Yoga P207"
"It's not exactly white, but a transparent light comes from between the eyebrows. (omitted) This is one of the important signs that the eyes are awakening in the Kalana dimension." (Awakening of Chakras and Liberation P220)

The book mentions "white light," and while "light" is a bit vague, some people might describe an air explosion as "light" or "transparent light." Therefore, I suspect that they are talking about the same thing.

Also, the book says, "The voice of God sounds like an echo from a distant valley," but I've had something similar before, so it's not new or particularly relevant to that.

Furthermore, the book says, "When the eyes awaken in the Kalana dimension, karma can be transcended," and indeed, this feeling might be related to that.

Perhaps, some of the other chakras, or certain aspects of them, were awakening in the Karana dimension, but not yet in the Ajna chakra.

By the way, there is an anecdote that when Kobo Daishi was practicing in a cave in Murotozaki, Shikoku, the "Morning Star" entered his mouth. If we take that story literally, it means "entering," but in my case, it was "explosion" and "bursting out," which is different. However, if we interpret it broadly, it is possible that it was a similar experience. If I had seen the Morning Star in my line of sight at the time of that experience, I might have thought the same thing. The fact that there was an explosion, a shock wave, and that I felt that shock wave in the forward direction, may mean that, depending on the differences in perception, it might have been interpreted as "entering" and "exploding due to the impact of entering."

Or rather, what I am perceiving as an "explosion" and a "shock wave bursting out" might actually be something entering.

However, when I calmly recall the situation, I still feel that "explosion" and "shock wave bursting out" is more accurate. For now, I would like to keep several possibilities in mind and refrain from making a definitive conclusion, and observe the situation.

The lower part of the area below my left eye has become active.

Mainly, this can be said to be the effect of meditation. However, the moment that change occurred was not necessarily during meditation; it happened unexpectedly while I was driving a car.

In terms of energy pathways, it flows through the cheek and under the eye, slightly behind, connecting at the brow center. This corresponds to Ida (left) and Pingala (right) in yoga. The Pingala pathway seems to be connected all the way to the brow center, but there felt like a barrier near the root of the left eye for the Ida (left) pathway.

Previously, that barrier was very noticeable, but recently, it has been somewhat resolving. Although I say "barrier," sometimes it resolves because energy flows through the inside, so it's not always an accurate description of a wall. When people think of a wall, they might imagine something passing over it, but even though it is a barrier, its resolution feels like a slight bulging on the underside, allowing the energy pathway to pass through.

It's similar to inflating a deflated balloon, or how a flattened water hose or fire hydrant hose expands when water flows through it; the inside bulges.

When the left eye opens, there is a feeling of that inner part expanding. However, even when I tried working from the brow center down towards the lower left area, it didn't work very well.

Today, while focusing on an area slightly below the eyes, near the middle of the nose and slightly to the left, I felt a slight bulging sensation, and simultaneously, there was a feeling that the Ida pathway, flowing from below the cheek through the cheek and reaching the root of the left eye, expanded and stretched.

This means that not only the area around the brow center but also the area just below it was blocked. That's why approaching it from the side of the brow didn't open it properly.

What should have been done is to approach it not only from the brow center but also from the opposite side, from the lower Ida pathway and towards the left cheek, aiming for the brow center.

At that time, I wasn't consciously aware of it; it just unexpectedly expanded and opened up. It seems that because I was focusing on opening it through the brow center, that area was also affected.

When I looked in the mirror, the left eye appeared smaller than before. Although there was a significant difference between the two eyes until recently, that difference has decreased. There is still a difference, and the right eye opens more easily, but it doesn't seem as noticeable anymore.

With this, it seems that simply being more conscious of the root of the left eye will create a proper foundation for opening it. It feels like the left side is almost fully open, but still needs a little more effort.

Inflate the entire front of the face with prana.

Gradually, but surely, I am passing the prana.

The basics are Ida and Pingala, which merge at the third eye point. It connects from the cheeks to the third eye point. There is also a connection from the cheeks downwards, but it mainly concentrates around the face.

I am passing prana into areas where it has not yet fully expanded, like inflating a balloon, and passing prana beneath the skin.

Once it passes, there is a feeling of swelling, but that is not the end. It needs to be inflated repeatedly. Because it is not stable, I need to inflate various areas repeatedly.

- From the cheeks to the area below the nose.
- From the third eye point to each cheek.
- The third eye point itself.
- The area below the forehead.
- Between the eyebrows.
- The area slightly above the back of the throat.

And so on, I am loosening each area.

The basic principle is to "not apply force, but to focus your awareness." Basically, I use Kechari Mudra. For areas where Kechari Mudra does not reach, I pass prana there using only my awareness. When focusing my awareness, unexpectedly, there is a feeling of "pop" and it expands, or a feeling like cartilage is stretching, and prana begins to flow in that area. However, if it is only slightly loosened, it will return, so I pass it again in the same way. The second time, it becomes easier to pass. The first time, it takes a long time, but since it has already been passed several times, it is not that difficult. If I find a hard area, I find a point, and while using Kechari Mudra, I focus my awareness on that point and loosen it.

When the Sahasrar chakra at the top of the head expands, it indicates a deepening of the state of Samadhi.

During meditation, the area above eye level softened and expanded, and the aura became more accessible.

In terms of the boundary line, the back of the head seems to be lower than eye level, and the area above that seems to be becoming more active. The front of the face is at eye level, the central part of the back of the head, and the area connecting them, which forms a boundary, and the area above that seems to be glowing, as if prana has increased.

This might be called "opening," but it feels more like activation and radiance, as if prana (aura) is being emitted.

As a result, distractions decrease, and a deeper state of emptiness arises. It is possible to think, but those thoughts are deeper.

While the area above the head feels open, there is a sensation of a hard ring being placed around the eyes, as if a headband is being wrapped. This may be because the upper part of the head opens first, and the area around the eyes and the back of the head gradually loosen and soften, resulting in a difference in the transitional area. As the upper part loosens and softens, the area around the eyes is also loosening.

In this way, the route from the center of the head to the space between the eyebrows and the area below the forehead is also becoming more active and thicker, and it feels like energy is about to break through the space between the eyebrows. If the energy passes through the skin and skull between the eyebrows, it will spread outward from the space between the eyebrows and forward, but it is still just one step away.

Despite these changes in energy, the fundamental state is one of emptiness.

Emptiness comes first, and then the activation of energy.

Perhaps, what Buddhist and yogic practitioners have been talking about as the crown chakra (Sahasrara), or the gate to Brahman, is something like this.

And, as Buddhist people often say, "stop thinking," this is indeed a result. The result of opening the Sahasrara or the gate to Brahman, which leads to the expansion of emptiness.

Therefore, what is often misunderstood or presented as a part of practice, or something that "should be understood," is actually a result. That is, it becomes like that as a result of being in the state described above, and emptiness or stopping thinking is not something to be "done." This is an important point.

Practitioners often misunderstand and, in the name of "practice," try to "stop thinking" and aim for emptiness. This is only a result of opening the Sahasrara, so even if you imitate it, it is not very effective, and it may even increase distractions by providing energy in that way.

When someone is told to "stop thinking too much," it is questionable how effective that is. On the contrary, if thinking is normal, one should think as much as possible. That is the way of being human. However, some people misunderstand this and, in the name of "practice" or the ideal of spirituality, advise people not to think, and sometimes they even lead them to expensive seminars. This is wasteful of time, and if it leads to financial ruin in a cult, it is a sin.

Things are simpler than that.

If you open the Sahasrara, emptiness will spread.

However, despite that, people misunderstand and overthink, and take various detours.

As the state of emptiness progresses further, one may no longer feel like talking. So, even though it may seem unnecessary, I am recording what I have realized while I still can. Writing this itself is somewhat pointless and unnecessary, but because many people are wandering down the wrong path, I am trying to write and leave words behind.

A core runs through the center of the space between the eyebrows, almost reaching the skin.

I can feel a sensation on my skin, and it feels like the energy in my forehead (from the center of my head) is about to burst out.

Until recently, the area between my eyebrows, where the "skull and skin" meet, felt like a wall.

In today's meditation, an aura has been penetrating the skull part of my forehead (from the inside of my body) like a "rod," and it feels like a column of light or aura, about the thickness of a pencil, is about to burst out from between my eyebrows. In response to this, I feel a cracking or popping sensation in various parts of my head, repeatedly. While this sensation itself is quite familiar, I feel like it's expanding further on top of my previous experiences.

It feels like there's another layer of aura sandwiched between the inside and outside of my head, and the area where the skin and skull were in close contact is separating, allowing for movement. And, during that movement, the aura passes through, activating consciousness.

I have occasionally felt a similar expanding sensation in the area between my eyebrows before, but it usually subsided quickly. This time, it feels relatively stable. Perhaps the activation of various parts of my head has caused changes in the skin's elasticity and the density/thickness of the energy, making it easier to stabilize.

The accumulation of aura in my forehead also activates my state of consciousness and stabilizes my mind.

I think this is connected to the activation of the Ajna chakra.

Insert prana between the skin of the eyebrows and the skull to create a gap.

The basic principle of meditation is to focus on the space between your eyebrows, but it seems there are stages.

Stage 1: Concentrate your awareness on the area between your eyebrows (from the base of the nose to the bridge of the nose), and meditate until you feel a sensation like inflating a hard balloon, where prana (energy, aura) flows between the skin and skull, causing the skin to "swell." When the skin swells, you will feel energy flowing down to the lower abdomen (manipura, swadhisthana). Yoga teachings say that the nose is connected to manipura. At this stage, you realize it.

Initially, nothing like this happens. After meditating for a long time, sometimes after several hours of meditation, you may suddenly experience such a state. If you continue meditating for months, the time it takes to reach this state will be shortened. It becomes 1 hour, then 30 minutes, then 10 minutes, then 5 minutes, and eventually, simply being aware of the space between your eyebrows in daily life will bring about this state. Gradually, this state becomes normal, and you unconsciously feel that energy is flowing normally. Then, you may no longer clearly perceive the sensation of swelling, but energy continues to flow.

As this happens, the feeling of a bundle of energy extending from the center of the neck or head to the space between your eyebrows becomes stronger.

In reality, the sensation of energy flowing temporarily means that it is connected through a thin channel for only a moment or a short period. As it thickens, it changes to a state where it is constantly connected.

As you progress, not only the area between your eyebrows but also prana connecting various points such as the neck, center of the head, back of the head, and top of the head becomes thicker.

The basic principle is the space between your eyebrows, but according to descriptions in Theosophy or books like "Light of Oneness," there are two energy channels extending from the center of the head to the space between your eyebrows: one connects to the space between your eyebrows (from the base of the nose to the bridge of the nose), and the other connects to the forehead.

You can feel both of these becoming activated.

- Space between eyebrows → Manipura (abdomen, lower abdomen)
- Forehead → Anahata (heart)

About six months later, the focus shifts from the space between your eyebrows to the forehead.

Until recently, the area around the forehead still felt stiff, but first, the area between your eyebrows has become relatively activated, and then, gradually, activation begins in the forehead as well. When this happens, it is not limited to just the forehead; other areas such as the back of the head also begin to activate.

Hello, it seems that when the area between the eyebrows (nasal root) becomes activated, other areas tend to activate in a diverse and dispersed manner. Therefore, we can understand that focusing on the area between the eyebrows during meditation is because that point is fundamental.

First, gather prana at the area between the eyebrows and gently lift and expand the skin to activate it. Then, similarly introduce prana into the forehead, allowing it to permeate the space between the scalp and the skin, as well as inside the skull, loosening the inner areas as well.

"Expanding the space between the skin and the skull" is just the beginning, not the end; ultimately, you are also relaxing the inner areas. Therefore, it's necessary to partially create pathways in those initially stiff or energy-blocked areas. Initially, this may be localized, but gradually, prana permeates throughout, reaching the deeper layers.
