Relax the upper half of your head with meditation.

Yesterday, the lock in my mouth and jaw loosened, and the aura entering my throat and head increased, making it much easier to relax the upper half of my head. Specifically, the technique of focusing aura on specific parts of the head in sync with breathing has become much easier. Previously, this technique was effective for the lower half of the head, but it was difficult to continuously focus the aura, especially the exhalation, on the upper half of the head. It was possible, but it was difficult to maintain concentration on the upper half of the head. Also, when I let it happen naturally, the stiffness in the lower half of the head became noticeable first, so I was unconsciously relaxing the lower half of the head, letting it happen naturally. However, while the lower half of the head is not yet perfectly relaxed, it is relatively relaxed compared to the upper half, and during meditation, the aura naturally moves in a way that relaxes the upper half of the head.

So, I meditate and gradually relax from the center of the back of the head upwards, and also relax various parts of the top of the head, including the upper right, upper left, lower left, lower right, and the area around the forehead. In each area, the skull and muscles are stiff and have difficulty moving, so I relax them by focusing aura (breathing) in sync with my breath.

I felt a subtle vibration, a slight tremor, around my eyebrows.

While I was relaxing the upper half of my head through meditation, I occasionally experienced a strange sensation, like static electricity or ripples on a lake caused by wind, where I could feel the vibration on my skin. It probably lasted for about 5 minutes or more, but it stopped after a while. It wasn't a strong tingling sensation, and there was only a slight tingling, but it was more like a slight tingling sensation due to the trembling and swaying.

In the writings of Professor Honzan, there is a description that a subtle vibration in the area between the eyebrows indicates the Ajna chakra. The expression "It begins with a very refreshing and light vibration" (from "Mikkyo Yoga," p. 207) might refer to this. However, this phenomenon itself doesn't seem to be particularly advanced. According to the explanation in "Awakening of the Chakras and Liberation" (p. 219), it seems to be an experience ranging from the dimension of energy to the astral dimension. If that's the case, I still have a long way to go. Further effort is needed. However, I feel a certain sense of certainty, like "ah, that's it." If this corresponds to my current state, I think it can be considered a certain level of growth. Of course, there are many possibilities that it might be something else, so I will consider that as one possibility.

The Kechari Mudra has become very easy to do.

As the aura expanded from the jaw to the mouth and entered the center of the head, it also brought changes to the mouth and tongue located in that area. Specifically, the mouth became easier to move, and the tongue also became easier to move. Regarding the mouth, it seems that the jaw and the opening of the mouth can be widened, and the range of motion has expanded. Previously, when I opened my mouth wide, it felt like the mouth was stretched, making it difficult to keep it open for a long time. Now, I can open my mouth normally. Although some people naturally have large mouths, I had a smaller mouth, so it may have just become normal for me. Because the mouth has become easier to move, I think it has also become easier to speak.

And the fact that the tongue has become easier to move has an unexpected effect. The movement of the tongue itself seems to be more free and easier to move according to my will. It has also become easier to perform the Khecari Mudra, which involves pointing the tongue upwards, and the amount of energy emitted from the tip of the tongue seems to have increased. As a result, I feel that it has become easier to relax various parts of the head by aligning the direction of the tongue. Regarding articulation, I feel that it has become slightly easier to speak compared to before, but it may not be a dramatic change.

Furthermore, there is a small discovery, which I would call a tip. It seems that, in order to relax the nasal root with the Khecari Mudra, it is easier for energy to enter the nasal root and the area between the eyebrows if the tongue is placed on the gums on the inner sides of the left and right teeth, rather than directly on the nasal root.

- The gum area on the inner side of the teeth, about two or three teeth from the back.

It seems that the effect is the same whether it is on the gums, at the base of the teeth, or above the gums. Adjust by choosing the area where energy enters easily.

In yoga, it is a common belief that the energy channels of the left and right sides of the body, called Ida and Pingala, are connected at the area between the eyebrows (nasal root). Based on this understanding, my understanding is that the Ida (left) and Pingala (right) channels pass through this gum area, and by touching either of them with the tongue during the Khecari Mudra, energy is channeled into the area between the eyebrows, which are connected, and the forehead and nasal root become relaxed. Although I am not certain whether this explanation is strictly correct, it feels like the points on the left and right sides are key to energy entering the area between the eyebrows and the forehead. This accelerates the relaxation of the forehead.

This seems to be effective not only during meditation but also in daily life.

4/3

Focus on loosening the area from the center of the back of the head upwards.

Approximately one-fourth of the head is the target area.
From slightly above, to the right, to the left, and towards the top of the occipital region, the aura is gradually permeated from the lower portions.
It is as if water is being permeated into dry farmland, softening it. By gradually permeating the aura from one side, the softened areas expand.
Although some loosening has already occurred in previous cycles, it is not yet complete, and it appears to be creating several hard, block-like areas. These blocks are being gradually loosened again, one side at a time.
This can also be described as a stage of carefully loosening areas that were previously loosened in a rough manner, one side at a time.
In this way, the loosening in the occipital region is deepened.

4/4

The feeling of tightness and pressure in the forehead is gradually easing.

Recently, in addition to the loosening that started on the upper back of my head, loosening has also begun in the front half of my head, near the frontal lobe. It's not simply loosening; rather, occasionally, something triggers a large pulsating movement in the frontal lobe, as if it's violently shaking from within. It's not exactly loosening, but rather, it feels like something is being born, and the frontal lobe moves intensely, like a chick trying to break out of its egg. This movement causes pressure in various parts of the skull, and the loosening progresses.

While the loosening progresses, it seems that loosening and expansion alternate, as if the inside of my head expands and becomes larger when the loosening reaches a certain point. Therefore, recently, I've been feeling a sense of confinement in my head. Although the inside of my head is loosening, the pressure on the skull increases, which may be why my expression and gaze (contrary to my emotions) seem somewhat severe.

However, I feel that's unavoidable, so I continued meditating while feeling that confinement. Initially, I felt a lot of pressure and tension on my forehead from the inside. However, after continuing to apply pressure to my forehead, not long after, I felt a sensation like rocks breaking, and my forehead felt like it was splitting into several large rocks. This is just a sensation, and there were no visible changes or bleeding, but it felt like something that was previously a large, solid rock had been divided into several large rocks, and movement had begun.

Before the loosening of my forehead, I felt a very confined sensation in the back of my forehead for the past few days, and my gaze felt slightly sharp. However, I think it has become relatively easier.

Compared to that, while the forehead area has loosened to some extent, there is still some stiffness in the area behind the nasal bone, so there are still challenges. Although there are still some hard masses in the forehead area, I feel that the forehead is loosening further. However, the area behind the nasal bone still seems difficult. ... I initially thought that after the forehead loosened, it would be like that, but when I checked again, I think there is still some stiffness in both the forehead and the area behind the nasal bone. It seems that the feeling that the forehead had loosened significantly was just a subjective feeling, and objectively, when comparing it later, it may be that both areas have loosened to some extent, but the stiffness remains.

4/5

Loosen the forehead and the nasal bridge by one more level.

This morning, when I woke up, I felt that the area on my forehead was slightly stiff again, and although the area deep inside my forehead had started to loosen recently, it was not completely loose yet. The skin on my forehead felt tight and constricted, so after going out for a while, I focused on loosening it again through meditation.

My goal was to gather energy in the area of my forehead, just like the other day. The other day, I placed the tip of my tongue on the left and right sides of my mouth and used the left and right Ida and Pingala channels to direct energy to the base of my nose and forehead, because it was difficult to directly access that area, so I used this method to bypass it. However, this morning, it was easier to access the area directly, so today I focused on using the Kechari Mudra to directly direct my tongue to that area and loosen various parts of the frontal lobe. Occasionally, I tried the same method as the other day, bypassing the area on the left and right, to see how it felt. There was no specific order, and I chose the method that seemed to allow energy to enter the areas where it was lacking, and I proceeded while feeling the sensations.

After a while, the area on my forehead loosened and moved again, which significantly alleviated the feeling of constriction. Although the stiffness in my forehead still remains, I continued meditating, and as a result, the base of my nose loosened to an extent that I had never felt before, and I felt that a small gap had formed between my nose and skull.

In the past, when the base of my nose loosened, I would temporarily feel energy flowing through it to the top of my head, but then the base of my nose would become stiff again, and the flow of energy would become poor. However, today, although the opening is not perfect, there was a noticeable movement, and the energy channel in the base of my nose seemed to become thicker and move away from the skull. In particular, the connection with the Ida and Pingala channels on the upper and lower sides and on the left and right seemed to become stronger. It seems that in the past, even if the base of my nose loosened, the surrounding area of my forehead was stiff, which made it difficult for the base of my nose to move, and the base of my nose tended to stick to the skull because it was pulled by the forehead. I understand that by loosening not only the base of my nose but also the surrounding area, the base of my nose is now easier to maintain that state once it starts to move. This has made it easier for the base of my nose, along with the forehead, to move and loosen as a whole.

Although there is still stiffness remaining, and it will likely return to a stiff state after a while, I feel that it has become easier to loosen compared to before.

4/7

The base of the nose and the forehead may become loose.

In recent times, I have been focusing on relaxing the area around the nasal bone, forehead, and the upper back of the head, including the crown. I do this through meditation, and also try to be mindful of it in my daily life, gradually relaxing those areas little by little.

Previously, it sometimes took 30 minutes or even an hour to relieve the stiffness in the nasal bone, but now, it can sometimes relax in as little as 10 minutes, and I feel that it has become much easier to relax compared to before. I am working to maintain a relaxed state around the nasal bone and forehead.

Until recently, there was a cycle where I would relax during meditation, but the nasal bone would become stiff in my daily life. However, now, when I notice that the nasal bone is becoming stiff in my daily life, I often use techniques like "Kechari Mudra" or focus my awareness to relax the nasal bone and forehead, which makes it easier to maintain a relatively relaxed state. This is a matter of degree; while it may be easier to relax through meditation, being able to maintain a certain level of relaxation in daily life reduces the need for adjustments during meditation, which in turn makes it easier to achieve relaxation.

Energy that passes through the nasal root.

When the nasal bridge relaxes, the amount of energy passing through it increases. This corresponds to what yoga calls "prana," which is also a form of life energy.

It's not just about energy passing through; it's also about absorbing it. However, there is no distinction between inside and outside, so it can also be described as connecting with the energy of the universe. For the sake of easy explanation, we can use the term "absorbing," and that's not entirely wrong, as it certainly activates the energy of the body and mind. In yoga, this is often described as "absorbing prana." However, in this case, there is no distinction between inside and outside, so it's more accurate to say that it "connects" with energy. But simply saying "connected" doesn't convey the increase in energy, so using the term "absorbing" can be helpful in some situations. In reality, it's both.

When the nasal bridge relaxes, it connects with the universe and is filled with energy. If it's sometimes described as "flowing in," that's for the sake of explanation, but in reality, it's a connection.

This isn't just about relaxing the nasal bridge; it's about making it easier for energy to flow through that pathway, which in turn leads to the activation of energy throughout the entire body. The head becomes activated, and consciousness becomes clearer. The degree of this effect seems to vary, and in my case, it's not a completely clear state. In fact, if consciousness were to become completely clear, that would mean enlightenment, and I haven't reached that level yet. However, I believe that a certain degree of clarity of consciousness can be achieved through this method.

To achieve this, you first use the energy of the aura or "ki" that you can consciously control to relax various parts of the body, especially the head. This conscious aura then relaxes the head, and as a result of that relaxation, a higher-level energy connects with the nasal bridge. This higher-level energy is one level above my current state, so it's a higher dimension, but it's still an intermediate level of energy. It's more powerful than the aura energy that I usually use to consciously relax various parts of my body.

In the future, if I can handle this intermediate-level energy more effectively, I think I can move on to the next level, whether it's in terms of consciousness or anything else.

4/8

Widen the nasal bone while pulling the forehead and the upper half of the head away from the lower half.

As a metaphor, it's like the upper and lower halves of the head are slightly separated, like a hamburger, and a tunnel forms in the middle. And energy begins to flow strongly through the center of the head. From the lower part of the body, through the spine and neck, energy begins to flow strongly through the center of the head and reaches the forehead. It had been flowing before, but the feeling of it "flowing through the center" wasn't as strong. Although there were times when that feeling occurred, it wasn't a consistent sensation of flowing through the middle.

This time, even though the very center still feels somewhat sluggish in its activation, it is, in a sense, flowing through the center of the head and reaching the forehead.

To begin, relax the nasal bridge. Relaxing the nasal bridge is effective by passing through the left and right Ida and Pingala channels. After relaxing the nasal bridge, further relax the forehead. Then, the back of the head will begin to relax in coordination, and eventually, you will feel a sensation of the upper and lower halves of the head being pulled apart.

After that, eventually, a passage-like space will form between the upper and lower parts of the head, and you will begin to feel energy flowing through that space from the center of the head to the forehead. However, if you relax the meditation, it tends to close, so it's important to consciously thicken that route with your breath. This allows energy to enter the head and activate it.

The location is around the pituitary gland, slightly behind the forehead, and the pineal gland, in the center of the head. However, it's not specifically targeting those areas, but rather aiming for areas that are easier to relax.

As relaxation progresses, the pulse in the head will become stronger, and the movement of the head will become more active.

4/9

When I sneeze, the top of my head hurts like a scar.

Recently, I feel that I may have meditated too much. Although it is not a problem in my daily life, when I sneeze and my head shakes, I experience a pain in the upper part of the back of my head, as if salt has been sprinkled on a scar. However, this pain only lasts for a moment and disappears quickly. It may be that the area is inflamed. Recently, I have been feeling that my skull is expanding, so it is not surprising if the muscles are stretched and inflamed.

I felt a loosening from the inside of my head, and a sensation appeared on my forehead.

I was focusing on relaxing my forehead through meditation, and then I felt a sensation like a slight explosion in the center of my head, accompanied by a feeling as if the pressure from the explosion was shattering glass, and a sensation as if a thin membrane inside my head, like an eggshell, had cracked.

Following that, I felt a sensation as if someone was pressing their hands on both temples, or as if a Band-Aid had been applied, and I felt a stronger pressure on my forehead, between the temples, than before.

Furthermore, my forehead moved slightly forward with a "bump" sensation, which resulted in more movement in my forehead than before.

Until now, regarding my forehead, I have basically been trying to relax it by pushing outward with my aura or consciousness from the inside. I have also been trying to relax my forehead by sending aura through the Ida and Pingala on the left and right sides of my mouth, to the nasal root and forehead. However, I had not yet reached the point of feeling that I was moving my forehead itself. I was at the stage of relaxing my forehead by acting on the outside of my forehead.

However, with the sensation in my temples followed by the expansion of my forehead, even though my forehead is still largely blocked like a glacier, the significant difference now is that I can direct my consciousness towards my forehead itself. This is a major difference.

I continued meditating and gradually released several blocks in my forehead.

As my forehead relaxed to some extent, I then felt a sensation in my crown, with a feeling of expanding outward near the crown, and this area, although not as much as my forehead, started to show movement.

Thus, starting with a further relaxation in the center of my head, consciousness and sensation reached my forehead and crown. I feel that the relaxation in my head is progressing.

4/10

The frontal lobe vibrates, swaying back and forth.

Today, I meditated, and initially, the root of the nose was still a bit stiff, so I used khechari mudra to channel energy from the left and right sides of the mouth into the root of the nose and the forehead. Until recently, I used to spend a lot of time on this, but now the energy flows through the root of the nose relatively quickly. The root of the nose is only slightly stiff, which is not a problem, and the stiffness in the forehead has become more prominent.

However, the stiffness in the forehead is also being resolved day by day. The method is the same as before, but I feel that the time it takes for the forehead to "crack" and for movement to appear is becoming shorter.

As the energy from khechari mudra enters the forehead, it eventually "cracks" open, and movement appears. Then, the back of the forehead, the frontal lobe, begins to vibrate with a large amplitude, like jumping rope, an earthquake, or boiling water (it's not actually hot, it's just the movement). This movement is then transmitted to other parts of the head, such as the center of the head, the back of the head (top and bottom), and the crown.

This vibrating movement inside the head activates the entire head.

Especially the movement in the forehead is noticeable, but I feel that the entire head is being activated in this way.

4/11

When I tilt my head, I feel a headache that feels like a scar being rubbed.

Recently, I have been meditating and intensely shaking, vibrating, or pulsating various areas such as the frontal lobe and the upper part of the occipital lobe, and then relaxing them. As a result, while movement has appeared in those areas, I feel that because those areas were previously not very active, moving them has resulted in inflammation.

This is not like a migraine, but it feels like a scar. If I move too quickly or tilt my head, I start to experience headaches. It's not an unpleasant feeling like a migraine, but rather a pain in the skin, literally like a scar. I haven't had it checked by a doctor, but this is based on my own understanding of meditation and the sensation of pain.

Therefore, I will refrain from excessive movement and, if the inflammation becomes severe, I will rest. (It seems to have recovered quickly afterward, so it's probably not a problem.)

There is often a saying in meditation that "if you experience a headache, stop meditating immediately." However, my situation is slightly different. In my case, there are no particular problems during meditation, because I understand that I am not moving my head much during meditation. However, after meditation, when I move my body, there are no problems with normal movements or even riding a bicycle. But if I move too quickly, or the other day when I sneezed, I felt a slight pain like a scar or inflammation.

I wonder if this is what is commonly referred to as "psychic headaches." What do you think? I am observing it for now.

Basically, it occurs immediately after meditation or within 1-2 hours, and then it's fine if I rest.

At least, I feel that parts of my brain that were previously dormant are starting to move, so there may be something to that.

4/13

Focus on relaxing the top of your head through meditation.

First, when I wake up in the morning and meditate, I use the Kechari mudra to relax the nasal septum. Then, I proceed through stages, such as the forehead, the inside of the head, and so on. Recently, the crown of the head has become a focal point. A buzzing aura and sensation gather in the crown, and at the same time, the skin moves and a mass softens, releasing tension.

This is not because I am consciously focusing on the crown. Rather, when I perform the Kechari mudra, starting with relaxing the nasal septum, the focal point naturally shifts from the nasal septum to the forehead, then to the inside of the head, and then naturally to the crown.

Perhaps, as the aura permeates, areas that have not yet been reached by the aura become relaxed, accompanied by a buzzing sensation. I think that because the areas adjacent to the focal point have been relaxed to a certain extent, those areas become the focal point.

For example, in the case of the crown, the areas adjacent to it, such as the forehead, the upper part of the back of the head, and the center of the head, have been relaxed to a certain extent, which is why the crown has become a focal point.

Even if it is not the case, sometimes it relaxes in a scattered manner. This is because there are certain energy pathways, like muscles, and the energy flows through them, causing relaxation in various places, like rivers and lakes. After going through this stage, and when it has spread to a certain extent, it feels like the energy spreads over a wide area, like a line becoming a surface.

Until now, I have been strengthening the aura and activating the head by exploring the pathways with lines. Now, I feel that the activation is happening as a surface. The crown of the head has become a focal point as one stage of this surface-level activation.

Even in daily life, I sometimes have headaches.

Until recently, I only experienced headaches after meditation, but for the past few days, I've occasionally had headaches even during my daily life. However, it's not a severe headache.

Meditation that enters from the space between the eyebrows and goes into the center of the head.

Basically, as I've been doing recently, I use the Khechari Mudra to relax the nasal bone and other areas. However, after the forehead, top of the head, and upper back of the head have become somewhat relaxed, for the past few days, I've added a meditation where I feel like I'm digging a deep hole from the space between my eyebrows towards the center of my head, along a single line, and energy is flowing deeper and deeper into that area.

I didn't consciously decide to do this; I'm basically focusing on the space between my eyebrows and doing the Khechari Mudra, but it naturally evolved into this kind of feeling.

And, with each time I do this, I feel the center of my head and the back of my throat becoming more relaxed.

4/14

When the back of the mouth opened with a "click," both ears also spread out.

I was meditating, and suddenly, the back of my throat opened, and at the same time, I started to feel a similar sensation in both ears. It started with one side (the left side), but after a few days, I started to feel it in both ears.

It's like a feeling of the eardrum expanding and cracking. It might actually be happening, or it might just be a sensation. There hasn't been a significant change in my hearing, it's just a sensation. For the first few days, I occasionally heard a crackling sound and a small cracking noise, but soon, the crackling sound disappeared, whether it was due to the eardrum expanding or something else.

The "nada" sound, a kind of extrasensory sound, has been present before and after this, but I feel like this crackling might just be a physical sound.

Along with this physical sensation of the eardrum expanding, I feel like there's an energetic sensation in both ears.

Meditation focusing on relaxing the back of the mouth.

This itself is something I have tried many times before, and while I have achieved some results, I often experienced problems because the area around my head was stiff, which prevented the center of my head from expanding properly. In particular, I often experienced the opposite effect, where the center of my head felt even more constricted, especially when I tried to loosen it with excessive force.

Therefore, for a while, I focused on loosening the area around my head, rather than the center.

Recently, I have finally made some progress in loosening the area around my head, and although it is not perfect, it is considerably looser than before. This has allowed me to focus on loosening the center of my head without experiencing any problems.

When I loosen the back of my mouth, the sensation of loosening spreads to the top of my head. The crown of my head still seems to need to be loosened individually, and it is not yet connected, but I have a feeling that it will eventually become connected. Nevertheless, I am continuing to focus on loosening the back of my mouth.

4/17

The area between the heart and the eyebrows opened slightly, and a voice was heard.

There was a sensation of the heart opening as if it were sinking, and at the same time, a voice came from within the heart. The "heart" may be a misleading term, but it felt like it was coming from the area around my chest, speaking to me. It was about the person I was imagining and thinking about at that time, and I received a piece of advice or a warning directed towards that person. A little later, I heard a similar voice about a different matter, but this was different from when a spirit approaches and speaks; it was a voice coming from my own chest.

In my case, I often receive thoughts and channelings from the area around my head, and this was a different sensation from that. Also, when a spirit approaches and speaks, it is clear that the voice is coming from a slightly distant location with a directional quality, but this was different. It was not directional, but a voice resonating around my chest.

When a spirit or entity approaches, I can often sense their presence and, based on that energy, I can sometimes determine who it is, and sometimes I cannot. In this case, I did not feel the presence of another being, but simply heard a voice coming from my chest.

This may be what is called the higher self, or perhaps I am simply receiving something in my chest. When it comes to spirits, it seems that the location does not matter, so it is possible that it was simply a spirit that was present in my chest and speaking to me.

Recently, not only my heart but also the area between my eyebrows has been opening as if it were sinking. The sensation of "sinking" and "opening" seems contradictory when expressed in words, but both are true; it feels like it is sinking deep within the body, and at the same time, it is opening.

Along with this sensation, my heart opens, and the area between my eyebrows also opens. The heart feels like it is the Anahata chakra, but the area between the eyebrows does not feel like the Ajna chakra; rather, it seems to be deeply affecting the physical head at this stage. The Anahata in my chest feels more expansive, and it feels like it is connected and moving in coordination with the energy channels (nadis in yoga) on my face.

As a preliminary step, I perform Khechari Mudra to open the nostrils by stimulating the upper palate, which directs energy into the left and right energy channels (Ida and Pingala), relaxes the nostrils and forehead, and finally relaxes the area behind the forehead and the center of the head. The sensation of the heart sinking and the sensation of sinking into the head and simultaneously opening refers to this stage.

The energy of the heart does not seem to be generated solely from itself, but is activated based on energy from above and below; it is a combination of grounding from below and grounding from above, the energy of the earth and the energy of the heavens, which are both activated in the area between the eyebrows and the heart. And I feel that the sensation of the Anahata and the area between the eyebrows opening appears when various areas are activated in this way.

4/18

I felt a stretching sensation in a muscle or something in the lower part of my occipital region.

While meditating, and as usual, loosening the base of the nose and sending energy to the space between the eyebrows using the Kechari Mudra, the space between the eyebrows began to vibrate, and various parts of the head relaxed. At the same time, the throat, the top of the head, and the center of the head gradually expanded, and I felt an increase in energy.

And in daily life, I suddenly felt a stretching sensation in the area around the back of the head. That sudden feeling of expansion was like something being released.

The muscle that runs from between the eyebrows and extends to the left and right has elongated.

On the same day that the lower part of my head extended, during meditation, about an hour later, initially, it was the same as usual, loosening the nasal bridge, etc. However, compared to usual, I felt that the sensation of energy flowing was slightly weaker. I thought, "What is this..." but I didn't worry too much and continued meditating.

Before that, the area near the nasal bridge opened up further, and energy began to flow. This is a normal occurrence recently; even if it doesn't open in the morning or evening, if I meditate for about an hour, the nasal bridge will almost certainly open and allow energy to flow. In that regard, it was not different from recently.

After that, I was meditating on allowing energy to flow through the space between my eyebrows and into my head. Then, unexpectedly, the single line of muscle-like tissue that seemed to exist on either side of the space between my eyebrows suddenly moved, as if I were constantly applying force to cartilage, and the cartilage suddenly broke or the clasp-like part came loose and dangled, causing the muscle-like tissue or cartilage on either side of the space between my eyebrows to move unexpectedly to the left and right.

Until then, the muscle-like tissue on either side of the space between my eyebrows seemed to be taut, and it was difficult for movement to occur in the space between the eyebrows.

Recently, it has often happened that energy enters the forehead, causing the forehead to ripple and move. However, the space between the eyebrows extending to the left and right, as in this case, has hardly happened before.

According to my records, on February 2nd of this year, I also felt a similar sensation of cartilage extending in the center of my head and in the forehead area. However, at that time, it was in the forehead area, and it felt slightly different from the space between the eyebrows.

As a result of the space between my eyebrows extending to the left and right, a different type of energy entered from the space between my eyebrows, and I can see that the area around my navel, the manipura, is reacting. It feels like the energy is flowing through the throat chakra (vishuddha) and the heart chakra (anahata), but the area that is reacting the most is just above the navel, so it seems to be the manipura.

The space between my eyebrows still hasn't fully extended, and I feel a sensation of creaking. I will observe the changes.

4/19

The Manipur region is making strange noises, creating a sense of unease.

Just recently, the muscles on either side of my forehead stretched, and almost simultaneously, I started experiencing a similar sensation in my manipura.

It's a strange feeling, kind of like something is moving, and it's a little unpleasant, although it's not quite uncomfortable.

There are stories in yoga about the nose and manipura being connected, but in my case, it feels like the area between my eyebrows is expanding, rather than the nose. So, it might not be exactly the same. It's possible that the base of my nose loosened beforehand, and then the area between my eyebrows expanded, which in turn stabilized the base of my nose and made it easier to connect with the manipura.

Either way, since the area between my eyebrows expanded a few days ago, and I'm still experiencing the same sensation this morning, it might not be a temporary thing. Or perhaps it will resolve itself within a few days. I'm just observing for now.

4/25

Focus on loosening the top of the head and the upper half of the head.

The problem is located in that area, and similarly, the center of the head. First, by loosening the surrounding areas, it becomes easier to loosen the center. During meditation, you breathe and use your fingers to gently press and release each area (of the aura) one by one, partially loosening them. After one cycle, the upper part of the head, the back of the head, especially the upper half, and the area around the forehead become somewhat relaxed.

Then, you loosen the route from the center of the head to the forehead.

This hasn't yet reached a critical point, and the route hasn't fully opened, but you can still feel that the route from the center of the head to the forehead is becoming looser.

Energy suddenly erupts from various parts of the body, like a geyser.

During meditation, energy usually flows throughout the entire body, and then concentrates on specific areas. Therefore, sudden occurrences are not common. However, in daily life, when sitting calmly, or when the focus of energy is not clearly defined, I have recently experienced days where I feel that various parts of my body are shaking, like intermittent springs or unstable baseballs.

This is particularly noticeable in the manipura and forehead areas. Additionally, I have experienced similar sensations in the right side of my abdomen and several other areas on my back. In particular, the manipura area has a feeling of energy surging forward like an intermittent spring, and shortly after that, there was a similar surge of energy from the center of the head to the forehead. It seems that this energy does not reach the forehead completely, but rather emerges about halfway between the center of the head and the forehead, creating a sensation of pushing, as if creating a tunnel within the body, and a line of energy rises and extends from the center of the head to the forehead.

I believe I have experienced this sensation a couple of times in the forehead area in the past few days.

As for the phenomenon, it feels like this. If we interpret this structurally, the chakras exist in both the front and back directions. The ajna chakra's front chakra extends to the forehead, but it seems that it is not yet fully open, but has opened about halfway towards the front. Since there is also a back chakra, considering both the front and back, it seems that about one-quarter of the ajna chakra has opened.
