It is said that "gods" do not refer to a single god or a creator god, but rather to high-ranking spirits or heroic spirits, or even gods from mythology. These gods are engaged in power struggles on this Earth. That is the reality. Each of these gods claims to be working for world peace and uses that as a means to expand their influence on Earth. They gather, educate, and use human followers to create barriers and strengthen their influence. Humans, naively, believe that this is "for world peace" and work diligently to create these barriers.
When creating these barriers, conflicts arise with existing powers and territories. This imbalance can sometimes manifest as negative influences, which the gods try to contain, claiming that "demons" are present. In reality, it is simply a territorial dispute, but humans, being ignorant, naively believe that they are "containing demons for world peace."
Sealing or barrier techniques are a double-edged sword. Creating a barrier means "dividing" something. It creates a boundary and causes division. The person using the technique may believe that they are protecting something within the barrier, but this also has the effect of creating a land with strong influence for the god that the user worships. This is naturally in harmony with the user's own aura, creating a comfortable land for them.
However, from an outside perspective, it creates a division where none existed before, and the aura of outcasts is drawn into it. When these divisions are created like a woven pattern, following the natural laws, the land within can be brought under the influence of the gods that the user worships, as if the eyes of an Othello game have been flipped.
While creating divisions, if a god can ultimately bring the entire land under its control, peace may indeed be achieved. However, in most cases, it provokes resistance from the gods who originally inhabited that land, so it rarely goes as planned.
The gods who try to increase their influence by creating barriers and divisions are not particularly high-ranking. That is why they use humans to increase their own influence. Sometimes this manipulation is successful, and sometimes it is not. In general, humans are ignorant, so they are not told the true purpose of the gods and are simply used naively.
Truly, a superior deity is "light, and only light." This is all they say. Deities who try to cleverly increase their influence using techniques are relatively lower-level. However, generally, those who are not well-studied in spirituality are lured by such clever deities and stray from the path.
In the Yoga Sutras, there is an admonition that a yogi must reject temptations from deities if they arise. This is true. As one progresses in spirituality, one begins to hear the voices of deities, and one may become arrogant, thinking, "I have finally reached this point." However, if the purpose of that existence is to create barriers or use techniques for world peace, and one is used for that purpose, then one should question both the apparent and the true purpose.
In most cases, in Japan, whether it is a famous or not-so-famous deity, such a Japanese deity will contact you at some point, perhaps through a shrine. There are many deities who seek out relatively skilled but still ignorant people who have not yet attained enlightenment, in order to use them. And the purpose of this is to increase their own influence. Influence is the strength of one's aura, and the more followers one has and the more prayers are gathered, the stronger one's influence in this world becomes. Even if it starts with a small thing, various deities try to increase their influence over time by finding and using those who will be used as tools for their own purposes. And such deities, which are not particularly high-level, do not clearly state their purpose, but rather vaguely convey it as "world peace." This is generally not wrong, so if the person being used does not question it, they will be easily deceived.
In higher realms, it is fundamentally impossible to lie, so one must speak the truth. Therefore, while "world peace" is generally correct, the deity's purpose is more specifically to increase their own influence. If one can delve deeply and ask the deity, they will properly explain this.
If one has a certain level of understanding in spirituality, one will realize that deities who act based on "power" are not particularly high-level. However, they are still deities, so they have a certain amount of power, and there is a possibility of retribution if one angers them. This is especially true if one refuses instructions after receiving help from a deity. Therefore, it is best not to establish a relationship with deities based on "power" from the beginning. Such deities that claim "power" are deities of the astral realm, and they are not that high-level. This is something that cannot be distinguished without proper study of spirituality.
Many people limit their spiritual growth by choosing deities based on superficial factors such as the ability to use techniques, the feeling of power, or the strength of a "ki aura" or "astral aura," which are closer to the physical dimension.
These deities are not so different from living humans, and they are simply using humans to fight over territory on Earth, using techniques and barriers to strengthen their own aura. As a result, many deities believe that if they unify the world, the world will become peaceful, which is not much different from humans on this Earth aiming for a second Rome and trying to recreate the Pax Romana. There are many such deities engaged in this struggle in the invisible world, the astral realm. Many beings are being manipulated and used by these deities, attracted by their "power." And there are many people in this world who, with a sense of superiority, believe that their spiritual growth has been achieved through this power, even though they are not that sophisticated.
While there is an aspect of seeking peace and enlightenment, the stronger aspect is that these deities are repeating the struggles of this Earth in the invisible spiritual world. That is the nature of power struggles. And while some people avoid the visible physical world's struggles, they engage in struggles in the invisible world. Some people engage in struggles in both the visible and invisible worlds. In reality, they are not so different.
There also exists a form of spirituality that is filled with deception and lies, where it is advertised as being spiritual and peaceful, but in reality, it is engaged in struggles in the invisible world.
Both of these are rooted in "power," and as the saying goes, "those who seek power are destroyed by power," those who seek power in the invisible spiritual world will also tend to seek power in the visible world, resulting in a structure where spiritual thinking perpetuates the conflicts in this world.
A certain number of people avoid the conflicts of the physical world and enter the spiritual world, but in most cases, many people become disillusioned with the fact that even in the invisible spiritual world, the struggles continue, and they end up abandoning spirituality. There are many forms of spirituality in this world that are filled with deception, where they advertise peace and pleasant things, but in the end, they are engaged in struggles in the invisible world.
Then, what should spiritual people seek? First, it is important to study what is correct. After that, it is necessary to understand one's current position.
No matter what, there is a group soul that is the origin of one's existence, and there is a purpose for which one is born. Basically, one should live according to that purpose. However, that purpose may not be something significant. To realize this, it is necessary to study, and to think for oneself. One's purpose of birth is also the purpose of the group soul. It can also be said that one's purpose of birth is created by the will of the group soul, but the group soul itself is the integrated existence before one is born as a fragment. Therefore, it also means that one decided as a group soul and inherited that will when dividing as a fragment. There is no separation or distinction between the side that gives the purpose and the side that receives it. Fragments are created to be separate, but they were originally one. There is a purpose created through such a process. Even if one understands that, there may be times when one's understanding of the group soul itself is not very high. In such cases, the human who is born as a fragment on Earth acquires a new perspective and feeds it back to the group soul. On the other hand, the group soul may have high wisdom and knowledge, and the fragment born on Earth may simply have forgotten its original purpose. This may be a more common pattern. In either case, there are a certain number of people who have forgotten the purpose given to them (or born with a purpose) by the group soul to which they belong, and in such cases, they are often used by other deities.
If one falls into a trap and follows the voice of a deity, it may end up being used only for the benefit of another deity. However, fulfilling such a role may also be beneficial to oneself, so it depends on the individual. On the other hand, there is also a result where one is used without fully understanding it, and it only benefits another deity, which can be a futile effort. In such cases, the aura of that deity may increase, and its influence may become stronger.
As someone who is being made to serve, they will enjoy some benefits, even if only temporarily, by serving other gods. But it's just that kind of thing. In this society, you provide your labor to a good company and receive wages as a form of profit. It's the same thing. Even if it's for a purpose different from your own, it contributes to society in some way. It's not much different from choosing a job and working in this world.
Sometimes it takes the form of a cult or a new religion, and sometimes it's a personal connection.
On the other hand, there is a purpose for which a person is born, and it may not always be to serve a specific god, but often it is something else. However, even in recent reincarnations, there may not be a deep reason for it, but in most cases, there is a deeper consideration if you trace it back to the root. A certain god says that it is good to ask yourself "Can you reach that far?" when meditating about yourself. When you reach that far, you will understand what you should do.
Along the way, if you are tempted by the sweet words of a powerful being, such as a god, and choose to serve that god, you may deviate from your true purpose.
Even when we say "god," there are various kinds. It is important to interact with the appropriate god according to your own level of understanding and growth. Therefore, if you seek power along the way, you will encounter a being (god) that seeks to strengthen power, and your wish will be granted. And you will believe that it is a spiritual purpose. Is that really a wonderful spiritual thing? Until you can judge that, a spiritual life of simply serving and rejoicing in the god awaits you. How many people can realize that what seems wonderful on the surface is not the true spiritual purpose?
A being with low-level astral power is, for example, a terrifying being like Baphomet, which is worshipped by the Freemasons. It is called a god, but it is half like a demon, and it is like the king of the underworld or the gods that appear in The Lord of the Rings. It is a god that exists in hell, not in heaven. It is not necessarily a demon, but it is a god in that low-level world, like the world in The Lord of the Rings. In that same world, there are also more evil demons. Therefore, it is a god in that world, but the world itself exists in a low-vibration dimension, and it is simply a god that has power in that world. Because it is a god, it has considerable power, enough to make most people submit immediately. Therefore, the power is strong, but it is only a god in a low-level world.
In the lower realms, the gods engage in territorial disputes, and relationships between gods in that realm can be strained, with some referring to other gods as demons, or literally calling truly evil entities demons. In either case, the gods in that realm are about half god and half demon, so it's a matter of degree.
On the other hand, in the higher realms, the light certainly intensifies, but it is something different from power. Distinguishing between the two requires study and discernment.
Lower-level spirituality fails to understand the concept of oneness and tends to belittle it. For example, they might say, "Oneness is a dangerous concept that encompasses both good and evil," and distance themselves from it. Or, they might publicly declare, "There is a clear distinction between good and evil in this world, and we must destroy evil for the sake of good." They remain trapped in a world of duality. And some even claim that this struggle is the essence of this world. While this may be true for lower-level spirituality, and honesty is a virtue, it stems from a relatively low vibrational understanding.
True spirituality is very simple: to raise one's vibration, to find the light, and to realize that one is light. That is all. Therefore, higher-level gods often say only "light, nothing but light," and demonstrate that vibration through their actions, revealing their divine presence. On the human side, one should simply use free will to respond to that vibration. The gods are higher, and humans express their will and act accordingly. However, many people mistakenly believe that they can do whatever they want without connecting to the higher realms, and they end up reinforcing their sense of separation and falsely affirming themselves. There are many such misunderstandings, so until one connects with the true higher realms, it may be necessary for some people to be used by lower-level gods with power, as a form of learning.
Also, as mentioned above, one's understanding and behavior, as well as one's learning, change depending on the extent of one's group soul. One should act in a way that is appropriate for oneself.
...However, even when these things are said, in most cases, people are so busy with life on Earth, striving to earn their daily wages, that they are completely absorbed in it. Even if they awaken to spirituality, they often aim to enjoy spiritual benefits in the material world. In such cases, when a powerful god appears before them, it is natural for them to serve that god for their own benefit. Although this may seem correct and may even be what the person thinks, serving a god is not much different from serving a president in a company. The reality is sad, and there are a certain number of people who are told something good by a god, such as "for world peace," and end up serving that god. Ultimately, this is a territorial dispute, and it moves in a direction that strengthens that god. Naive people simply follow instructions, use techniques, create barriers, and continue to act for the benefit of that god. Their ego becomes stronger because they are serving a god, but such gods are astral beings, and while their energy and astral aura may become stronger, they are far from enlightenment.
It seems like that is one of the sad destinations for people who are attracted to "power."
