Instead of meals, obtaining energy from Sahasralara.

I have occasionally heard stories of people who have undergone significant yoga practice and consume very little food. For example, Anandamayi Ma, mentioned in "The Autobiography of a Yogi," is a saint who lives on the offerings (prasada) from temples. I have also heard similar stories from time to time.

Of course, I haven't reached that level, but recently, the energy entering through my Sahasrara chakra has increased, and I feel more energetic without needing to eat as much. This sudden change has resulted in a weight loss of about 2 kg in one month and about 3 kg in one and a half months, which is a good rate. Previously, I tried various supplements and diets to lose weight, but I didn't see much change, and my weight remained the same. Now, I'm gradually losing weight at a good pace, and I believe it's due to the increased energy and reduced food intake.

When my weight exceeded a certain level, I would restrict my diet or take supplements to bring it back to a healthy level. However, I had mistakenly thought that the weight I was at before was my ideal minimum. But it turns out that wasn't the case. I haven't specifically increased my exercise or changed my supplements, and I don't see any other obvious reasons for this change.

Although I haven't reached that level yet, I believe that it is true that reducing food intake is possible by channeling energy through the Sahasrara chakra or other channels.

I suspect that this is related to the amount of food people consume, even if they are not consciously aware of it. When the chakras or energy channels (nadis) in the body are blocked, it becomes difficult to maintain bodily functions without taking in a large amount of external energy, which can lead to weight gain. Additionally, modern diets often contain a lot of processed foods that are low in prana (life energy). While these foods may taste good, they can lead to a lack of prana, which can cause hunger and fatigue, leading to overeating.

While it is necessary to eat enough, especially during youth, to build a strong body, once that stage is passed, life energy becomes more important than the physical body. Both are important during youth, but as one matures, life energy becomes more crucial. When life energy is low, consuming foods that are low in prana, such as fried foods made with old oil or foods that appear unhealthy (but may taste good), can lead to a deficiency in prana, which can result in overeating and weight gain. While maintaining a certain level of physical health through diet is important, it is equally important to take in prana. Ideally, a diet that provides both would be best, but nowadays, frozen foods, convenience store meals, and instant foods are prevalent, which can lead to a lack of prana.

One way to compensate for this lack of prana is to channel energy through the Sahasrara chakra. However, consuming foods rich in prana is also a good option. Prana is also present in food prepared with love, which is why home-cooked meals often taste better because they contain the cook's prana. Having a mother who cooks homemade meals is a blessing, as it can help replenish prana. However, if the mother is overly controlling or tries to control her child, the food may also contain a restrictive aura, which is not ideal. When eating out, it is difficult to know who prepared the food, and one may inadvertently consume the aura of the cook, which could be negative if the cook is angry or stressed. Conversely, food prepared by a happy cook can impart a sense of happiness.

Personally, I have been channeling prana through my Sahasrara chakra recently, so my diet has become relatively simple. Frozen foods lack the aura (prana) of the original ingredients, so it is not possible to obtain prana from them. However, on the other hand, one is not exposed to the unknown aura of the cook, which can be considered a safety benefit.

This brings me to a slightly different topic: it seems like a yoga or spiritual approach to dieting could be possible. However, it might be a bit too advanced for some.
