Until recently, I have mostly been loosening the surface of my head and a little bit inside. However, even when I tried to loosen the area deeper inside, I couldn't expand it because the outside was too tight, and I always felt constricted.
Recently, I've noticed that loosening the area one layer deeper from the surface of my head has caused the center of my head to start loosening as well.
Sensory-wise, it feels like it's divided into three or four stages, including the center. The rough classification is: the surface of the head, a little bit inside, the area around the center, and the center itself. Currently, the area around the center, which surrounds the center, feels like it's loosening significantly.
However, sometimes when I wake up in the morning, it feels tight again. Even so, if I loosen it one by one through meditation, I can reach this state, and even if it returns to being tight, it seems to become easier to loosen.
The area around the center of my head, and sometimes the area near the back of my head, is also loosening.
Although the things I'm doing are similar to what I did before, the overall loosening has progressed.
Also, the Sahasrara (crown chakra) at the top of my head is more activated than before.
The forehead area is also becoming easier to loosen. Although there is still stiffness in the forehead, the energy seems to be flowing more easily. Even though there are still challenges, the area inside my head is also loosening to some extent.
I have focused on loosening the same areas before, but the loosening has progressed much further this time.
Furthermore, the center of my head is also the area above the mouth. In yoga, this area is stimulated through a technique called Kechari Mudra. There are various interpretations of Kechari Mudra, some involve slightly raising the tongue, while others involve raising it more forcefully, and some extreme practitioners even make a slit under the tongue to make it easier to raise. Recently, the area where it has become easier to raise the tongue has started to loosen. I believe that even without actively using the tongue, simply focusing on that area and coordinating the breath to bring in energy (prana, or cosmic energy in yoga) causes the center of the head, the area above the mouth, to loosen. Therefore, I don't think it's necessary to worry too much about the tongue. This is because it's an energetic matter, and raising the tongue to stimulate that area is a physical matter. Energetically, it moves through the use of consciousness. Even when we talk about energy, we are referring to prana or qi in the astral realm, which is close to the physical body. The astral realm is characterized by its ability to change shape and form through consciousness. Therefore, by focusing on the center of the head with consciousness, energy flows there, and as a result, the center of the head and the area above the mouth loosen.
