In yoga, the energy of the human body is called "prana," and it is said that increasing prana leads to good health. The concept of three "gunas" is introduced, and it is said that increasing prana and improving health can be achieved by actively consuming "sattva," which is considered a pure substance.
The other two of the three gunas are "tamas" and "rajas." Tamas is described as a dull and sluggish force that reduces prana, and rajas is described as a force that consumes prana. Tamas is considered to be solid and slow-moving, rajas is considered to be active, and sattva is considered to be pure.
Food, or people, or things, everything can be explained by these three gunas, and it is recommended to increase sattva in everything you interact with in life to improve health.
These stories about prana are relatively close to the energy of the human body, and are similar to what is commonly called "ki."
The aura that surrounds the human body can also be called "prana."
In reality, the aura is a more multi-layered phenomenon, but it is not incorrect to call the aura "prana," and it is generally safe to understand that prana refers to the aura.
Thus, prana is "ki" and "aura," and it is energy, and it can maintain health.
These are energies that are closer to the human body compared to more spiritual energies such as kundalini, and they are energies that are strongly associated with food and other substances.
