The difference in the quality of energy (Ida and Pingala) between the left and right sides due to the activation of the right arm.

The right arm feels tingly, while the left arm feels stable. I used to have a weaker right arm, so I didn't consciously notice this difference much. I just thought that the tingling in my right arm was stronger because I had less energy in it. I thought that eventually, the feeling would become the same on both sides, but after a few days, it didn't change, and I wondered what to do. Then, I suddenly realized that, in yoga, the energy on the left and right sides is represented by Ida and Pingala, respectively. Ida is on the left and is associated with the moon, representing cool and calming energy, which is also considered feminine energy. Pingala is on the right and is associated with the sun, representing warm and active energy, which is also considered masculine energy. So, the difference in my sensations seems to be consistent with this understanding, and the tingling on the right side feels like it's a natural occurrence.

* Left: Ida, Moon, Cool, Calming, Feminine
* Right: Pingala, Sun, Warm, Active, Masculine

According to some theories, Kundalini energy is generated by Ida and Pingala, and I can definitely feel that.

This state seems to indicate that both Ida and Pingala are relatively activated. In my case, the left Ida already has a certain amount of energy, and I'm now properly channeling energy through it. The right side was originally weak, but recently, it has been quite active, so the balance between the left and right sides is relatively good.

In this state, the central Sushumna channel is relatively well connected along the spine, from the sacrum to the heart chakra (Anahata). However, the throat chakra (Vishuddha) feels a bit constricted, and while it is connected to the head, the Vishuddha chakra seems to be the bottleneck. The Vishuddha chakra feels a bit weak, but overall, it seems to be connected to the Ajna chakra in the forehead.

In this state, I can feel multiple energy channels connected to the Ajna chakra in my forehead. The shape of the Ajna chakra is like a flower with petals that open to the left and right, and I can definitely feel that there are multiple routes connected from both the left Ida and the right Pingala. There is a common understanding about the number of energy routes connected to the chakras, and for the Ajna chakra, it is said to be the confluence of Sushumna, Ida, and Pingala, which aligns with my experience.

In reality, the left and right channels, referred to as Ida and Pingala, are not just one channel each, but rather consist of multiple channels, such as those that pass through the front of the cheek, those that pass along the outside of the cheek, and those that pass through the inside of the body. It is difficult to distinguish which of these is Ida and which is Pingala, and there are differences in notation depending on the text in the Indian Upanishads. Therefore, my (tentative) interpretation is that these several channels that are divided into the left and right are collectively referred to as Ida and Pingala.

▪️Energy also flows through the legs.

In addition, by firmly channeling energy through the legs, the sensation reaches the fingertips. Regarding the legs, in my case, I still feel that the energy flow is not always strong, but when I meditate, especially when I consciously extend my awareness from the base of the foot towards the toes, the energy channels (nadis) seem to be strengthened.

▪️Be aware of energy during daily life or while falling asleep.

If you get used to it, you can strengthen the energy channels not only during meditation but also during daily life or when you are drowsy while falling asleep. It seems that it is effective to consciously pay attention to them occasionally when you notice them.
