"It's a simple thing," they say, but it's just something that piques my interest in the spiritual realm.

"Accepting things as they are" and concepts like "oneness" are "simple things" once you reach a state of awakening, but it's not easy to get to that point.

Sometimes, the leaders themselves are only pretending to believe it, while other times, the leaders have reached a certain level of awakening and are saying it that way. In either case, the person speaking is often genuinely thinking that, and it may actually be true, or it may just be that they are pretending. In either case, when people talk about these things, those who have not yet awakened often find it confusing, or they may just "feel interested" in it. In other words, it doesn't resonate with them.

The "awakening" mentioned here refers to the initial stages of enlightenment or beyond, but specifically, it could be the Dharma-Megha-Samadhi mentioned in the Yoga Sutras, or the state of "great enlightenment" or "Kimkang-jeong" in Zen, or the union with light in Tibetan Buddhism, or the concept of the Trinity in spirituality or Christianity. However, in such a state before awakening, when spirituality says "it's a simple thing," it's often not understood.

Trauma resolution, oneness, letting go of distracting thoughts, etc., are often described as "techniques," but if they can be done easily as techniques, then that person is already awakened. It is because they are not yet awakened that they struggle to overcome these things.

Some schools of thought say "understand it," and try to achieve awakening by "thoroughly understanding" it. However, even after awakening, it is indeed a simple thing to "understand" it, but before that, even if you study and understand the logic accurately, you will not reach the same state.

Once you are awakened, "techniques" are not very important, and it becomes a matter of "understanding" or "simple things," but before awakening, it is necessary for people living in this world to have methods or practices to achieve the state of the Trinity. This may be in the form of study, practice, or even through daily work, but in any case, some kind of "action" or "technique" is necessary.

Generally speaking, these techniques can be anything, and literally, whether it's work or hobbies, anything can lead to awakening. That is true, but there are differences in terms of ease and efficiency, and I think that meditation and yoga techniques are suitable for many people.

Yoga describes the steps to awakening in detail, and there are also many specific techniques. There are various types of yoga these days, but yoga that includes meditation and breathing exercises (pranayama) is more effective. Yoga as exercise or poses is also effective, but it may not be suitable for everyone depending on their body type, so it may be better to do some physical yoga while also doing meditation and breathing exercises (pranayama).

At that time, it is better not to blindly accept what awakened people say, but to do your best at your current level. It's easy to be interested, but it's better to assess your current level and climb one step at a time.
