"It's a simple thing," they say, but it's just something that piques my interest in the spiritual realm.

"Accepting things as they are" or "Oneness" are "simple things" once you reach a state of awakening, but it's not easy to get to that point.

Sometimes, the leader is just saying it, while other times, the leader has reached a certain level of awakening and is saying it that way. In either case, the person saying it is often quite sincere, and it is actually true, or sometimes, they are just saying it. However, in either case, when people who haven't awakened hear these kinds of things, they often think, "What is this?" or simply, "I'll keep that in mind." In other words, it doesn't resonate with them.

The "awakening" I'm talking about here refers to the initial stages of enlightenment or beyond, but specifically, it could be the Dharma-Megha-Samadhi mentioned in the Yoga Sutras, or in Zen, it could be the state beyond Dai-go-tettei (great enlightenment) or Kongon-jojo (Vajra Samadhi), or in Esoteric Buddhism, it could be the union with the Light, or in spirituality or Christianity, it could be the state of the Trinity. However, in such a state before awakening, when spirituality says, "It's a simple thing," it's often not understood.

Trauma resolution, "Oneness," or "letting go of distracting thoughts" are often described as "techniques," but if these can be done easily as techniques, then that means you are already awakened. It's because you are not awakened that you struggle to overcome these things.

Some schools of thought say, "It's about understanding," and try to achieve awakening by "thoroughly understanding" (these schools of thought don't say they "achieve" awakening, but simply say "understanding"). However, even after awakening, it is indeed a simple matter of "understanding," but before that, no matter how accurately you study and understand the logic, you will not reach the same state.

Once you are awakened, "techniques" are not very important, and it becomes a matter of "understanding" or "simple things," but before awakening, it is inevitable that humans living in this world need some kind of "method" or "practice" to achieve the state of the Trinity. This may take the form of study, practice, or may be carried out through daily work, but in any case, some kind of "action" or "technique" is necessary.

Generally speaking, these techniques can be anything, and literally, whether it's work or hobbies, anything can lead to awakening. That is true, but there are differences in terms of ease and efficiency, and I think that meditation and yoga techniques are suitable for many people.

Yoga details the steps to enlightenment, and the techniques are quite specific. While there are various types of yoga these days, yoga that includes meditation and breathing techniques (pranayama) is said to be highly effective. Yoga as exercise or poses can also be effective, but it may not be suitable for everyone depending on their body type. Therefore, it might be better to do yoga that involves some movement while incorporating meditation and breathing techniques (pranayama).

It's important not to blindly accept what awakened individuals say, but to do your best at your current level. It's easy to get caught up in that, but it's better to assess your current level and progress step by step.
