The stability of my meditation has increased by one level, and the stillness, especially the observation, has become more established not only during meditation but also in daily life. This is a matter of multiple stages, so there have been several such advancements before, but this time, it has also increased by one level.
Even a little while ago, I thought that the "observational" aspect of meditation had become relatively stable, but even though the words are the same, the same observational aspect has become slightly deeper and slightly more stable. This is similar to what happens in sports, learning, or anything else, where there is a certain plateau and you hit a wall, but then you sometimes feel like you are exceeding that limit.
In the past, similar breakthroughs have been quite dramatic, but this time, the change is very subtle. Although it is only a slight change, it can also be said that it is a very significant change.
This is because when things become more intense, the change increases by multiplication or addition, but the stillness in meditation becomes more subtle by division or subtraction. Therefore, as you cross each stage and exceed each limit, the amount of change decreases. So, although it is only a slight change in terms of expression, it can also be said that it is a significant change in terms of breaking through the limit. Even if it is a small change in absolute terms, it is a significant change in terms of its meaning.
I think the root cause of this change is that I have been consistently loosening my mind for a while now, and that has reached a certain level. The energy (prana in yoga) has become easier to stay in my head, and when I start meditating, pressure fills my head almost immediately. As the energetic stagnation gradually decreases, I think this change has occurred as a result of reaching one level.
My mind is not yet completely relaxed, and my neck is still stiff, so I would like to further loosen it.
