Meditate and allow energy to flow through the back of your head and the top of your forehead.
This is a continuation of what I explained recently. Again, I will pass energy from the middle of the back of the head, upwards towards the top of the head, then to the center of the head, and further towards the forehead. Initially, it may be difficult for the energy to pass through, but I will gradually guide it. With each passage of energy, consciousness is activated, and vitality and cognitive function are appropriately improved. It's not something that will have a dramatic effect immediately, but the way the energy flows and the degree of brain activation are directly linked to consciousness and cognitive ability. The area around the center of the head, between the eyebrows, and the upper part of the back of the head are not yet fully open, and tend to become blocked, so it's important to gradually pass energy through them even during daily life.
When energy passes through, you may hear a "crack" sound. Each of these sounds can be quite loud, but they don't end with just one instance; it's necessary to pass the energy through multiple times. It's not about passing the energy through the same spot repeatedly, but rather gradually guiding it deeper. Once the energy has passed through, it tends to remain open for a while, but after a while, it may start to close again, or by the next day, it may become blocked again. Therefore, even during meditation or other activities in daily life, it's important to consciously pass energy through that area.
Pass a thick energy rod through the center of the head using the Kechari Mudra.
Recently, I have been focusing on this as a key task, and while meditation involves more than just this, I also practice channeling energy through the base of the nose and between the eyebrows, which is a recent basic technique. However, that is separate from activating the energy pathways on the front of the face, and the lower body and heart, which are related to it. And, somewhat related but treated as separate key areas, I am also working on raising a thick energy flow to the back of the head.
In my case, the energy flow is generally stable from the area around the upper throat, but the area above that feels blocked. If I were to rephrase the area above the throat, it's like the area behind the eyes, or extending from the eyes and forehead towards the back, which, simply put, is the back of the head, but not the surface of the back of the head, but rather slightly inside it. This is quite close to the location of the pineal gland, and it may be related to that, although I am not yet certain. I am working on channeling energy through that area.
I feel that it is necessary to separate the areas that are tightly connected vertically, and the normal movements make it difficult to separate them. Instead, I am trying to create a gap between the top and bottom by channeling a thick energy flow through the center of the head, so that the energy passing through creates a space and attempts to separate the top and bottom. Especially at first, it is hard and does not separate easily, but after concentrating energy for a while during meditation, it unexpectedly cracks and peels off little by little, like a fissure. It doesn't open up dramatically, but at most, a crack appears, and I repeat this process many times.
As a result, the thick energy flow starts from the center of the back of the head and eventually reaches the area near the crown, and while it is not yet strongly connected to the crown, it is sufficiently activated. Also, regarding the direction towards the forehead, the energy flow extends from the center of the head towards the front to a certain extent.
The challenges are:
- The crown is not strongly connected or open (Sahasrara).
- The forehead is not strongly connected or open (Ajna's front).
- The back of the head is still not strongly connected or open (Ajna's back).
Therefore, there are still many challenges, but for now, it seems that ensuring a proper energy flow through the middle of the head is the priority.
Suddenly, my heart in my chest opened with a "poof," like an explosion of air.
At that time, I was working from home and doing some research when this unexpectedly happened. The blockage in my chest seemed to have cleared, and the connection to the upper throat (Vishuddha) and the third eye (Ajna) felt stronger. Before that, it felt like each chakra was being activated individually, but now they seem to be connected. I think this might be what is often referred to as an integrated chakra system in spiritual terms.
Meditate, focusing on relaxing the area from the nose to the forehead.
In the past month or so, these areas have been key issues. However, these issues have been ongoing for a longer period, and their content has been changing.
A little while ago, the focus was on areas with little movement and rigidity, and the goal was to break them apart, like cracks. Alternatively, the intention was to create a line through a specific area, allowing energy to flow through it. The process involved breaking something and then creating a line to allow energy to pass through.
In the past month or so, there has been an increase in energy activation on a surface level. Or, parts that were fused together have been separating with a "pop" sound, creating movement between the separated skin and skull, and allowing energy to flow into that space, which accelerated the loosening process.
In particular, the following areas showed significant changes:
・The adhesion between the nose and the skull is loosening, allowing the nose to move.
・The forehead and the skull are also loosening in a similar way.
・The lower part of the back of the head and the skull are also loosening in a similar way.
These changes seem to have occurred in relatively short succession.
After movement appears in each area, the area is further loosened, as if to break it down.
・The nose is loosened, as if to further break it down. Energy is passed through.
・The forehead is also loosened in the same way. Energy is passed through.
・The area around the eyes is also loosened in the same way.
Especially recently, the area from the forehead to the top of the head has been a major focus. Energy is passed through the forehead from left to right, and the area is loosened towards the top of the head, and this process is repeated to gradually deepen the loosening.
When the nose, forehead, and area around the eyes become loose, I can feel a tangible change that looks like an illusion, such as the nose appearing slightly higher and the eyes appearing larger when I look in the mirror.
After finishing meditation, it returns to its original state after a while, but it is interesting that the nose becomes higher and the eyes become larger again when I meditate.
This seems to be related to the level of fatigue. Also, I feel that the shape of the eyes has changed slightly, and I am also interested in the relationship between meditation and the actual shape of the face.
When people talk about meditation, they often talk about the state of consciousness, but it is interesting to see that concrete changes appear in the body when doing energy work like this.
In addition to the face, energy is also passed through the legs, arms, and neck to activate the overall energy of the body.
The nasal bone gradually widens from the nasal root.
Previously, there were cracks or gaps, or sometimes a slight lifting and movement. However, this time, it loosened significantly, and the area lifted even further. My nose might feel slightly higher.
Even before, I felt energy flowing from the nasal bone to the lower body, the third chakra (manipura, solar plexus), or the second chakra (swadhisthana). However, since it loosened significantly, energy has started to flow not only to those areas, but also to other areas. In particular, various parts of the head have started to be pulled apart significantly, "as if the head were splitting left and right."
There were previous stages, but the relatively large changes that have occurred recently are as follows:
There is a large loosening in the lower back of the head (a loosening that has been there before, but is larger).
There is an increase in energy from the heart and throat, rising through the neck and inside the head, reaching the area between the eyebrows.
Exploring the energy route that flows from the space between the eyebrows towards the forehead. This area has been previously felt as stiff and narrow, but through repeated meditation, it is gradually expanding.
Acceleration of the loosening in the crown of the head. Previously, there were cracks or the energy only flowed as a "line," but there is a change towards a larger energy loosening.
The loosening in the forehead becomes one stage deeper and larger. Previously, it felt like cracking something hard to allow energy to pass through, but now it is becoming one stage thicker. (Much earlier, it felt like "threading a needle.") The thin line is becoming thicker, and now, a thicker line is accelerating the loosening.
The loosening in the root of the nose advances one stage. I am re-channeling energy through the nose to loosen it. This area tends to become stiff easily, so I first concentrate energy and allow a little energy to pass through. Then, instead of being satisfied with just a little passage, I gradually loosen the entire nose, both above and below, by allowing energy to pass through both the left and right sides. As a result, not only does the entire nose loosen, but it also loosens in coordination with the inside of the head and the back of the head.
The root of the nose loosens one more stage. As mentioned above, after loosening the entire nose to some extent, focusing on the root of the nose causes a relatively wide area of the root of the nose to feel slightly lifted, and the adhesion to the skin is released, causing it to lift. As energy enters from the root of the nose, it feels as if some blockage in the head is being resolved (similar to what is called "granthis" in yoga).
With the root of the nose loosening one more stage, there is a greater movement in the center of the head and the back of the head. In this state, the entire head feels as if it is divided into left and right, and the left and right are loosely connected in the center.
While the outer parts of the left and right sides of the head, such as the far left and right ends of the crown, are not yet very activated, the central axis of the head is much more activated.
As I continue meditating, the back of the head loosens even further.
The space between the eyebrows and the forehead loosen even more.
The loosening accelerates.
In this state, the ability to maintain a meditative state of consciousness in daily life improves dramatically, and the duration of the meditative state increases.
The "granthis" in the root of the nose are said to be spiritual knots in yoga, and it is said that these knots must be unraveled for the awakening of the third eye (Ajna chakra). This area is called the "Lalana granthi" and is also referred to as the "eye of Shiva."
Based on the sensations I've experienced when other chakras have opened, it seems that in my case, the third eye (Ajna) chakra has not yet fully opened, but rather a blockage before that has been released. Therefore, I think this might be a transitional period. It is likely that the direction of opening the Ajna chakra is correct.
