In meditation, draw energy through the space between your eyebrows and your forehead, as if pulling it apart.

From the nasal bone, a strong aura is gradually channeled towards the space between the eyebrows and the forehead. At that time, there is a sensation of something being peeled away from the area between the skin and the skull, along with the penetration of energy. This feels like trying to inflate a hard balloon, and also like water flowing through a dry riverbed. Although the feeling of a dry riverbed is not as strong now, it used to be very dry, but now the aura flows through it to some extent from the beginning. Even so, the thick, strong aura is not fully flowing through, although it sometimes does. By channeling it throughout, the area between the eyebrows is activated.

This mainly happens during meditation, but it can also happen outside of meditation. In everyday life, the area between the eyebrows is often stimulated, and the aura accumulates there, and there is often a sensation of something being peeled away. Sometimes I don't pay attention to it, but sometimes I notice that the area between my eyebrows is constantly being stimulated.

In the past, this sensation would occasionally appear after meditation, or temporarily appear at certain times. Also, I have experienced a similar sensation in the area between the eyebrows when I was near people who are generally considered to have psychic abilities. However, it was not something that occurred regularly.

Basically, energy is channeled through the nasal bone, but even there, it is not fully open. Through the nasal bone, it connects to the lower chakras (manipura and swadhisthana), and then connects from the nasal bone to the area between the eyebrows, which connects to the heart (anahata), thereby activating the overall aura.

As a secondary effect, there is a feeling that the nose has become slightly higher. It might be an illusion, but it seems that it may have happened because the nasal bone and the back of the nose have relaxed and moved slightly. However, I have not objectively measured it, so I don't know. If that is true, the fact that some people prefer people with high noses might actually have an energetic basis, as it is connected to the activation of the chakras. It may seem like they are choosing based on appearance, but there is actually an underlying basis of energetic height. The relationship between the height of the nose and energy is a hypothesis, but it is likely to be a tendency, although not necessarily always the case.

It is well known that the area between the eyebrows is related to the third eye chakra (ajna), but there are various theories about its location. The chakra itself is located inside the body and inside the head, but the energetic flow points are located in both the front and back. The front point is the area between the eyebrows.

As shown in the diagram I shared recently, there are energy routes that run from the center of the head (such as the pineal gland) to the eyes, and a route that extends to the forehead. The route to the forehead is still in its early stages, while this explanation focuses on the route to the eyes.

Ideally, everything should be activated from the beginning, but it seems there are stages involved.

Preliminary stages:
・Back of the head
・From the neck to the head
・Heart
・Lower abdomen, including the dantian, manipura, and swadhisthana

Main topic:
1. From the root of the nose to the space between the eyebrows (slightly separated from the center of the head).
2. From the space between the eyebrows to the forehead (a connection with the center of the head is established).
3. The area behind the root of the nose connects with the center of the head, and activation occurs.
4. Activation of the forehead.
5. An energy route further extends from the center of the head towards the forehead.
6. The area from the root of the nose to the space between the eyebrows, and the forehead, are further activated while connected to the center of the head.

Future steps:
・Further reducing the hardness of the epidermis on the forehead.
・Further activation of the forehead as a whole.
・Further activation of the top of the head.

Although there are still challenges, compared to before, the forehead feels much more relaxed, and I sense that the energy has been activated.

Energy that causes the upper half of the back of the head to rise, even without meditation.

Even without sitting and meditating, I feel the flow of energy in my daily life. The lower half of the back of my head is not completely empty; it already has some energy flowing through it, so the issue is the upper half of the back of my head. In that area, energy gradually seeps in, like water flowing through a dry riverbed. I repeat this process. Even when I am quietly living my daily life, energy rises and that area gradually relaxes.

In conjunction with the upper back of my head, the upper half of my head, from near both ears, to the temples, and to the forehead, also becomes activated. The main focus is the upper half of the back of my head, but energy flows to the upper part of the head in response to that.

Eventually, energy flows to the top of the head and activates it.

It is quite difficult to practice the Xiaozhou Tian diligently.

The "Xiao Zhou Tian" is a practice that involves circulating energy along the central axis of the body, from the lower abdomen, along the spine, up to the head, and then down the front of the chest and sometimes back to the lower abdomen. However, it seems that in some circles, this practice is described as a beginner-level exercise. In reality, properly circulating energy through the body in this way can be quite challenging and requires dedicated spiritual practice.

Even with some innate aptitude, one can, over time, meditate and gradually circulate a small amount of energy, creating the appearance of performing the practice. In many cases, people are considered to be practicing "Xiao Zhou Tian" simply by circulating these thin lines of energy.

However, this practice is subjective. Some people may claim to be circulating energy strongly, while others may claim to be doing it very well, but in reality, they may only be circulating weak lines of energy. Therefore, it is important to assess whether the energy is truly circulating, rather than relying on self-proclaimed abilities. However, objectively quantifying this can be difficult.

Even if it is difficult to quantify objectively, subjectively, one could say that if only thin lines or small balls of energy are moving, it is still at a beginner level. If a larger amount of energy is moving, it could be considered to be done reasonably well. However, in either case, this "Xiao Zhou Tian" practice is a foundation for subsequent stages, so it is generally best to consider it a basic practice, even if a significant amount of energy is moving.

Some schools of thought use terms like "whole body Zhou Tian" or "Da Zhou Tian." "Da Zhou Tian" is mentioned in various schools. However, if these terms are subjective, it is possible that what one person considers "Xiao Zhou Tian" might be similar to what another person considers "Da Zhou Tian." This depends on the context. In terms of circulating energy, whether it is called "Xiao Zhou Tian" or "Da Zhou Tian" is just a matter of terminology, and the most important thing is whether the energy is circulating properly. In that sense, there is not much difference between the two.

However, there is a difference in terms of expression and communication. If the general interpretation is that "Xiao Zhou Tian" refers to connecting with lines of energy, "whole body Zhou Tian" refers to a general increase in energy throughout the body, and "Da Zhou Tian" refers to the circulation of a large amount of energy, then these terms can be used as a classification system. In this case, "Xiao Zhou Tian" is a relatively basic stage and can be achieved fairly quickly.

On the other hand, some schools of thought refer to the concept of a large flow of energy (which some schools call the "Great Zhou Tian") as the "Small Zhou Tian." If that is the case, then even the Small Zhou Tian can be quite challenging.

Recently, I've been thinking that perhaps the term "Small Zhou Tian" originally referred to something like this. It seems that originally, the term "Small Zhou Tian" was used to describe the ability to properly channel energy. However, as it became more well-known, more and more people started claiming to be practicing the Small Zhou Tian, even though they weren't actually able to do it properly. This, I suspect, is why the higher-level concepts were created.

When I do meditation using images, I tend to easily fall into a difficult state.

In the world, there are many methods that are touted as the best meditation. The promotional phrases usually say that they are "very fast."

In reality, it is easy to misunderstand meditation. This is because of a cognitive distortion and illusion caused by "feeling good." You temporarily feel good and become captivated by the image you create. This leads to the illusion that "you are able to meditate."

The spiritual world is also called the astral realm, and it is a world where thoughts can manifest reality. Therefore, if you imagine during meditation, the reality that is created will be according to your imagination. And because of that, you tend to think that you are able to meditate.

When you read books about meditation, you often see things like "imagination interferes." When you read the explanation, you may think that it is true, and it is easy to think, "I understand, I will not be like that."

However, in reality, in most cases, you fall into the trap of imagination and become concerned about whether you are able to meditate.

This is especially true at the beginning. It is quite normal for that to happen, so there is no need to worry about it. While there may be some children who can do it from the beginning, most adults will find it difficult to meditate immediately.

At such times, "the best meditation" that uses images is promoted, and the power of imagination in the astral realm causes a certain manifestation of reality in that imaginary world. You may feel like you are doing a great meditation, but its influence on this real society is very limited. It is not that it has no influence, but the influence on the real world, especially the physical society, is very weak, and if such "the best meditation" is based on "imagination" in the astral realm, its influence is essentially limited to that realm.

If it ended there, it would be fine, but eventually, they will start seriously promoting things like "we are the best," "we are the only ones who know and are teaching the correct teachings," and "other teachings take time, our teachings are the fastest." And that is how cults are born.

People who are not familiar with spirituality may hear this and sometimes start to believe that it is true. That is the birth of a cult member.

And that's how the members of the cult increase.

Relax the forehead and the front of the top of the head through meditation.

Both are similar in a way, but they are also different in some aspects. Generally, the area is relaxed gradually, starting from the forehead, moving to the upper part of the forehead, and then to the front of the top of the head. By injecting energy into the area near the skin in sync with the breath, it gradually relaxes.

Relaxing the area behind the eyes through meditation.

I didn't specifically aim to do it, but during meditation, I naturally relaxed various areas, including the forehead, the front of the crown, the center of the head to the center of the crown, and the upper part of the back of the head. I wasn't consciously focusing on those specific areas, but rather, the energy was automatically flowing to those places. Suddenly, my awareness focused on the area behind my eyes, and I felt a sensation of stretching, as if the muscles had suddenly extended, and the area behind my eyes seemed to stretch and relax at the same time.

This isn't perfect, but compared to before, I feel that the area behind my eyes is more relaxed, and although it's only a little, I feel like my eyes are slightly more forward, or perhaps not. That's what I perceive internally.

When I look in the mirror, it doesn't seem to have changed much. I don't really feel like my eyes are more prominent, but rather, I feel like the shape of my eyes has changed slightly, or perhaps not. I feel like my eyes are a little more triangular than before, but it might just be for today, so I'll observe it.

Meditate on the front, back, left, and right of the forehead to allow energy to flow through.

From the back of the forehead to the front, and then, to the left and right of the eyes, and to the left and right of the forehead, and in all directions, I pass energy through the forehead to relax it.

Recently, I have been continuously passing energy through this area and its surrounding areas. By doing so, the entire body, not just the forehead, becomes activated. The forehead activates the energy route along the spine (the Sushumna in yoga), and the front of the face activates the lower body, including the abdomen (the Dan Tian, Manipura, etc.). This occurs because the area from the nasal root to the forehead becomes energetically thicker. As a result, consciousness becomes activated.

Compared to before, this area has become quite activated, but this area is still weak, and there are still challenges to overcome. However, I feel much more progress than before.

7/27

Loosen the area between the eyebrows by gently peeling away the adhesion in several steps.

While coordinating with your breath, relax your eyebrows to a certain extent. Once you reach a certain critical point, it will spread with a "mishimishi" sound, exceeding its limits and causing the adhesion to separate. Then, coordinate with your breath again and infuse your aura (prana), and continue to expand and relax.

Your eyes will widen, and the stiffness and tension on your forehead will be relieved. Although it is not yet perfect, you can definitely feel progress.
