Not only does it become hazy, but suddenly the head becomes stiff, energy flow is impaired, the facial expression becomes stiff, and the eyes become distorted, resulting in a sickly and unpleasant appearance. While the severity varies, it happens with a high probability when passing through certain areas.
I suspect that it is picking up a terrible aura present in those locations.
For example,
・A certain location near Shibuya Station
・A certain area between Ueno and Asakusa
These are particularly noticeable. It seems to depend somewhat on the time of day, with differences between weekdays and weekends, but it seems that the problem lies more in the specific location rather than the time. When this happens, it becomes necessary to meditate for a few hours to clear the mind and reset it from the beginning.
I say this myself, but repeatedly encountering and absorbing that energy gradually reduces its weight. It feels more like I am gradually absorbing and resolving that energy, rather than me simply becoming accustomed to it. However, I don't think I am the only one doing this.
To resolve the stiff energy that has been absorbed, I focus on the area around the base of the head and neck, which is particularly congested. Before that, I begin by loosening the energy around that area. First, I focus on the space between the eyebrows and gently loosen the energy. Since the head is stiff due to that energy, I am essentially breaking through a shell. After meditating for about an hour or two, there is a sudden feeling of something cracking, and a crack appears in the stiff energy. Then, I gradually resolve the fragments of that crack.
I also pay attention to the left and right sides of the head, and consciously allow energy to flow through the corresponding left and right sides of the body. I focus on the left side of the head and allow energy to flow through the left side of the body, and do the same for the right side. This is similar to feeling the energy that flows through Ida (the left side of the body) and Pingala (the right side of the body) in yoga, while consciously focusing on the left and right sides of the head.
As I do this, I feel a "tick" or "crack" sensation at the base of the neck, and the energy begins to flow from the space between the eyebrows down to the throat. I naturally have a weak and congested energy flow in this area, and it tends to cause problems when it becomes blocked. In cases like this, where I receive a completely stiff energy, it leads to a complete disruption. Therefore, I start by working on the surrounding areas and continue meditating until the energy flow reaches the base of the neck again. In yoga, the central channel is called Sushumna, but first, the energy flows through the left and right Ida and Pingala, and then through the central Sushumna.
When energy passes through this area, you may feel an energy that feels like a "light breeze" or a "slightly cold breeze" passing through your throat. If you don't feel this, you can determine that the base of your head is blocked. If it doesn't pass through, meditate with the goal of making this area passable, and if it does pass through, you can say that your condition has recovered to some extent.
Once you reach this point, you can say that the mental confusion has almost recovered. Although it may not be a completely ideal state for meditation, it can be said that the hardened energy has been resolved to some extent.
After that, you can continue meditating to fill the energy up to the Sahasrara chakra at the crown of the head, but that is a normal meditation practice.
About half a year ago, if you experienced something similar, it would take about a week to recover, even if you meditated for several hours every day. It would take about 4 to 5 days at the earliest, and about a week in general. In this case, not only has it become less likely to become unwell, but even if it gets a little worse, it seems that you can recover in about a day or two. It seems that you have surprisingly grown in just half a year.
