▪️It made a loud cracking sound, and then the back of the head, the temple, and the top of the head pulsed and relaxed.
In today's meditation, I was trying to relax the area around my head, as I have been doing for the past few days. While I sometimes feel a sensation of tightness in my head, today I felt a gathering of aura around my forehead.
In that state, I unintentionally tensed up, trying to relax my head. So, I consciously tried not to tense up and waited for my head to relax naturally.
As a basic principle of meditation, it is instructed to focus on the forehead without tensing up. I think this instruction is correct even in this case. Whether you are focusing on the forehead or anywhere else, you should focus on it without tensing up.
So, I focused on the forehead and the center of my head, while keeping the aura gathered around my forehead, and consciously released the tension that I unintentionally put in, while maintaining my focus.
Actually, at that time, in that moment, I was not consciously focusing on the back of my head. I was simply meditating, trying to relax while feeling the pressure of the large mass of aura around my forehead.
Suddenly, unexpectedly, a loud "crack" sound, several times louder than usual, came from the middle of the back of my head, near the skin. Then, I felt a sensation of cracks spreading in the back of my head, and that sensation reached the temple area. I felt that energy was flowing through those cracks. I understand that the cracks allowed energy to flow more easily to that area.
At the same time, the back of my head began to pulsate intensely. I have experienced a similar pulsation in a small area of my skin a long time ago, but this time, the pulsation was in the middle of the back of my head, and it felt like it was pulsating strongly from the center of the back of my head to the temple area. If it is similar to what has happened before, it will start with a strong pulsation and gradually become more natural, always pulsating at a certain level. However, since it has only just started pulsating, I can clearly feel its movement. A similar pulsation occurred in the frontal lobe (10 days ago, April 4th), and then the jaw (9 days ago, April 5th) relaxed, and in that case, the pulse was very slight, but it was definitely there. Now, I am feeling a very clear pulse in the back of my head.
First, it started with a throbbing sensation in the back of the head and around the hairline, which lasted for about a minute. Then, 1 to 2 hours later, the throbbing started in a different area, slightly inside the skin of the top of the head.
▪️Changes due to the strong throbbing in the back of the head, indicating improved energy flow.
In the upper part of the head, slightly inside the skin of the top of the head, the throbbing was a bit weaker than what was felt in the back of the head, but the blood flow improved. This seems to have activated the energy in the upper part of the head. During the same day, the area of relaxation expanded from the middle of the back of the head, towards the hairline, and slightly inside the skin of the top of the head. Before this, the upper and lower parts of the energy route in the back of the head, which corresponds to the upper part of the Sushumna in yoga, were somewhat blocked, and the flow between the Sahasrara and the Vishuddha was not good. However, the energy in the back of the head and towards the top of the head has become more abundant. Although it feels like the energy is not flowing through all the areas yet, it feels like a major flow has started.
This route, which sometimes opened in the past, seemed to open or not depending on the day, and was not very stable. This time, with a significant change, it is expected that it will open more stably and the energy flow will further improve. The top of the head feels more open than before, but it is not fully open yet. Nevertheless, the relaxation in the back of the head has made it easier for energy to flow up and down, and the Sahasrara at the top of the head seems to be more filled with energy, making it easier for energy to move and flow.
I had anticipated that this might happen, but it started suddenly and unexpectedly, with the back of the head and the top of the head relaxing without any warning. Until recently, the entire head, not just the back of the head, had been making a "crackling" or "creaking" sound. However, now, there was a significant "crack" in the back of the head. This happened as expected, but it was sudden. It may be easier for the area to relax when it is not consciously focused on, and when it is relaxed (this is a hypothesis, but it is consistent with established meditation practices and makes sense). It may be better to focus on the opposite side of the body from the target area, but that is not certain, and it may have been a coincidence.
After the throbbing in the back of the head, I became more aware of the pulse. Specifically, from that night, I started feeling the pulse and hearing its sound while lying down, either on my back or on my side. The sound of the pulse is very clear.
Recently, the locations where I felt throbbing were:
- Frontal lobe (10 days ago, April 4th)
- Lower jaw (9 days ago, April 5th) (My speech, which had been unclear, suddenly returned to normal.)
- The center of the occipital region to the hairline (April 15th)
- The inner part of the top of the head (April 15th)
It seems that the challenge now is to completely relax the central part of the head, and then thoroughly connect the entire top of the head at a higher level.
Although it has been relaxed somewhat, there are still some fine areas that make a crackling sound, and it seems that this will continue until everything flows smoothly and stabilizes.
