Prana enters and loosens below the back of the head.
The entire head feels like it's starting to loosen, but recently, the lower part of the back of the head is loosening.
At the same time, the area from the center of the head to the top of the head is also loosening simultaneously, but it feels like the lower part of the back of the head is loosening first.
The front of the face still tends to become stiff, so I regularly loosen it, but mainly the back of the head is becoming noticeably looser.
There are chakras on the front of the face and the back of the head, so I feel that the lower back of the head is expanding and connecting.
If the agni chakra in the forehead opens through meditation, a person will become revitalized.
The elements are two:
・From the tip of the nose to the abdomen (Manipura chakra).
・From the forehead to the heart (Anahata chakra).
In modern life, people experience stress, and these areas tend to close, leading to a loss of vitality.
It seems that people who have these areas open continuously from childhood tend to be energetic.
Even if they close, they can regain their vitality by practicing yoga or meditation, or by diligently studying or working, thereby reopening these areas.
When these areas become closed and energy is insufficient, there is a need to obtain energy from others or from food. This is where various misfortunes arise. There are countless examples, but they include the enslavement of others in the workplace or family, men clinging to women to absorb energy, uncontrollable eating leading to overeating, picky eating, depression, and various other symptoms.
While there are many physical causes for these issues, some of them may stem from an energetic perspective, such as the front of the Ajna chakra being closed, preventing energy from entering.
The direct solution to these symptoms is to reopen these areas. However, in some cases, misleading spiritual practices may offer incorrect solutions, and people may be led to expensive spiritual seminars organized by cults.
People may be misled by being made to believe that the cause is something other than the direct cause, and they may be given advice that, while containing some truth, is ultimately off-target, such as the Buddhist teachings of "not thinking," "overthinking," or "becoming empty-minded." This can hinder growth.
These concepts are actually simple and can be surprisingly straightforward. However, in most cases, strengthening the body will lead to a certain degree of vitality, and most of these problems can be resolved. In many cases, a lack of vitality is caused by a lack of physical strength. Furthermore, even if the Ajna chakra is closed, the body can become more energetic to a certain extent. If you want to achieve greater clarity of mind, you can open the Ajna chakra, but this is often not necessary for ordinary people.
Yoga practitioners, regardless of the school, often emphasize opening the Ajna chakra. On the other hand, when people generally talk about opening chakras in yoga, they usually start from the bottom. There is a difference in perspective here, but I believe that these concepts have different stages.
First, we activate the chakras from the bottom up, at a level close to the physical body, and activate them at a level close to the physical body. Let's call this level 1. Next, we open the heart and ajna at a level one step deeper. Let's call this level 2. Then, at level 3, we open the front of the ajna, and at the same time, we further activate the manipura and anahata (heart).
Level 1: Kundalini at a level close to the physical body: from bottom to top, it energizes. From tamas to rajas.
Level 2: Intermediate energy: from the heart to the ajna, purity increases. From rajas to sattva.
Level 3: The divine aspect (as a human being): the front of the ajna. Sattva becomes dominant.
There should be a level 4, such as the Sahasrara, but I am still at this level. There is still more to go.
And, generally, when people talk about kundalini, they are talking about level 1, and it seems that it is opened from the bottom up. Some yogis emphasize opening the ajna first, which seems to be about level 3. However, for many people, level 3 is a high threshold. Even if some people can go directly to level 3, others may start from level 1 or level 2, and the stage each person is at is different.
Indeed, even at level 1, focusing on the ajna is meaningful. However, the effect seems limited. When focusing on the ajna, people often get confused at first. In such cases, it is also important to move the body rather than meditating for a long time.
And, even at level 1, although it is said to be energized, it is still unstable. At level 2, it becomes even more pure, but there is still some roughness (rajas) remaining. And, even at level 3, it is not completely pure, but it seems to reach a certain level of stability.
And, the various arguments that cults and pseudo-spiritual groups make seem irrelevant. This is because this is purely a matter of how to use energy. Cults and pseudo-spiritual groups often try to steal the results of this kind of story, but it seems that, rather than the logic, if a person's ajna has an energetic path, they will become energetic, which is a simple story. Some people find mystical meanings in it, but it seems that it is better to think of it as purely a matter of how to use energy, so that you will not be misled by the stories of cults.
When the energy of Azina becomes activated, there may be times when the head feels constricted, causing pain or discomfort. However, this is simply because the head is becoming more active, and the skull, which was previously smaller, is now feeling constricted. Cults may try to attach meaning to this and mislead people, but there is not much deeper meaning to it than that. It is simply that the brain is becoming more active and physically larger, causing the skull to feel constricted. In previous lifestyles, if the skull is stiff, headaches may occur. However, this can be resolved by loosening and expanding the skull through various methods. It does not seem to have much to do with curses or negative meanings as claimed by cults or others.
At level 3, these types of physical discomforts may appear, and it may be called Kundalini syndrome. However, what I think now is that this is a relatively simple story: the brain is becoming more active, and the skull is becoming narrower, so it is necessary to loosen and expand the skull. It is almost that simple.
Even at levels 1 and 2, there may be discomfort, which is also analyzed as Kundalini syndrome or physical discomfort. However, in the end, it is always a physical discomfort caused by blocked energy channels. Basically, the causes are various, such as unhealthy food or stress, but there is little to do with karma or spirits, as claimed by cults. It is mostly a physical discomfort caused by blocked energy channels.
The pubic bone, or Muladhara (root chakra), became even more relaxed.
This is something that happens periodically, but this time it progressed one step further, and the relaxation spread to include the abdominal area.
This morning, I felt a fine vibration and relaxation in the pubic area as I was waking up. I wondered if it was due to my digestive system, but it's hard to say which came first. It felt like energy (prana) was flowing through the pubic area and lower abdomen, and also towards the legs and groin, causing relaxation.
This time, it was not only that, but it seemed to be linked to the area between my eyebrows. First, the muladhara chakra relaxed, and then the area between my eyebrows relaxed.
There is a sensation of prana entering and swelling, then loosening in the area slightly behind the eyebrows (pituitary gland?).
The prana has started to enter the skin near the eyebrows and the inside of the nose, and furthermore, it has started to enter and loosen the area deep within the eyebrows.
There are stages for each:
- A route from the front of the mouth, through the nose, and to the forehead.
- The area deep within the eyebrows.
1. Prana occasionally passes through the nostrils, activating the abdomen (Manipura).
2. Prana occasionally passes through the forehead, activating the heart (Anahata).
3. The route from the nostrils to the forehead connects, and both of the above are activated.
4. 1-3 become easier. Especially 3 becomes easier.
5. (This time) Prana begins to enter deeply (from the outside) to the area deep within the eyebrows (pituitary gland?), → connecting with the Muladhara.
Until now, it felt like prana was trying to flow out from the inside, up to the forehead, but there was a thin wall. In that state, the energy flow between the front and back was blocked.
Now (in stage 5), prana is starting to enter deeply from the surface of the skin on the forehead, towards the inside. Even in this state, although the energy has not yet flowed properly from front to back, there is a significant amount of movement.
In yoga, the Ajna chakra is sometimes said to be connected to the Muladhara chakra. This sensation in the area deep within the eyebrows may be related to that. On the same day, the Muladhara loosened in the early morning, and simultaneously, the area deep within the eyebrows loosened significantly.
Previously, even when the area deep within the eyebrows tried to expand, the surrounding area was stiff and could not expand fully. Thanks to the loosening of the area surrounding the area deep within the eyebrows, it has become possible to expand the area deep within the eyebrows along with a "cracking" sensation.
Theosophy mentions two types of Ajna:
- Pineal gland dominant.
- Pituitary gland dominant.
Each has its own characteristics, and it is sometimes explained that the pituitary gland is a lower Ajna, while the pineal gland is also an Ajna, but rather connected to the Sahasrara more than the Ajna.
Based on the current sensation, it seems that the pineal gland is not yet as active, and that the pituitary gland, located behind the eyes, has become activated.
Based on the descriptions in yoga and the knowledge in Theosophy, it probably feels like this is a sign that the pituitary gland is becoming activated, and the lower part of the Ajna is starting to move.
Even with just a little activation, various chakras such as the heart, Anahata, and Muladhara have started to move more. However, it is not yet fully connected, and the pituitary gland is not yet fully expanded, but is in the process of expanding, so it seems that more observation is needed. However, there are signs of change.
The area between the eyebrows and the forehead swells up with a large amount of prana (aura).
Until recently, I was inserting prana between the skin and the skull, forcing it to expand by about half the width of a finger. This is a metaphor, but by actually inserting prana just below the skin, it enters the body not just under the skin, but that spot becomes an entrance for prana (aura) to enter the body. Therefore, the area just below the skin serves as an entrance, and that applies to various parts of the front of the face.
The area around the nose, especially the tip of the nose, is the initial point.
From there, I expand the aura and guide it to various parts of the face. "Guiding" means inserting the aura between the skin and the skull, loosening it as if lifting the skin, and simultaneously expanding the space between the skin and the skull, or pulling the skin away from the skull.
Most people probably think, "What's the point of doing that?" But by doing so, you can take in energy (prana) from the front of the face. As a result, the head becomes activated, and the eyes become clearer, even in fine details.
In other words, cognitive abilities increase. The zones become more stable.
In the past, this opening was only as small as the diameter of a needle. Even a slight difference between not being open at all and being slightly open makes a big difference.
Also, as it expands slightly, the intake of prana (energy) improves, and the body becomes more activated.
This opening tends to close over time, so I meditate and re-open it. By repeatedly opening and closing, I stabilize the open state.
Then, the area that was initially only the tip of the nose expands to various parts of the face, and more areas become loose, including the area near the top of the head and the back of the head.
However, at the initial stage, it's not as loose as "very loose," but rather, there's movement, like a glacier starting to move, even though the glacier is still present. The initial state is when the glacier is solid and hasn't moved much yet.
When it reaches that point, energy (prana) starts to enter more easily, so you don't need to eat as much. This has been happening gradually, but for the past three weeks, I've been able to do fine without eating much, and my food intake has decreased.
So, today, during meditation, I suddenly felt that the forehead area was moving significantly, and although there are still masses, those masses seem to have detached from the skin and skull and started to move. When this happens, moving the forehead area helps to loosen it even faster. I think the loosening of the forehead area has moved to the next stage.
