The concentration of the aura between the eyebrows due to the rising of Kundalini.

It is said that meditation is about concentration, but in addition to focusing the conscious mind, which is the active consciousness, I think there is also a concentration of the aura through the awakening of Kundalini. The sensation when the energy flows from the throat to the space between the eyebrows during meditation is different from consciously focusing on the space between the eyebrows. It feels like Kundalini, or perhaps an aura like a balloon or a hard jelly, rises from the Vishuddha chakra in the throat, and this aura constantly connects to the space between the eyebrows, filling it completely. If we call this concentration, then perhaps it is a form of concentration.

There is often a debate in the meditation world about whether meditation is about concentration or observation, and sometimes this leads to arguments. However, in reality, meditation is both concentration and observation, so I think such discussions are pointless.

However, there is indeed a sequence. Initially, whether you start with concentration or observation, you eventually reach a state of observation, and then, again, a state of aura concentration.

This initial and final concentration seem similar, but they are different, and the level of meditation changes significantly depending on whether "concentration" refers to the initial stage or the final stage.

When there are many distractions and the mind is confused if you cannot concentrate on the space between the eyebrows, you should first focus on the active consciousness and aim for a state of emptiness, which is a peaceful state of mind.

At this stage, you may experience a state of extreme concentration, sometimes called "the zone," and you may feel joy. This joy is often temporary and is a feeling of happiness filled with emotions. Therefore, you repeat concentration or meditation to achieve this "zone." This is not necessarily seated meditation; athletes and technicians can enter the "zone" by focusing on their tasks and experience joy. Of course, you can also achieve this state through meditation.

This stage is the first stage to aim for, and then, a state of peaceful emptiness appears.

This state of peaceful emptiness is initially temporary, but eventually becomes stable, and then, for a short time, you enter a state of observation (Vipassana).

I think that the term "Vipassana" used to describe different meditation schools actually refers to this state. However, in reality, it is impossible to reach this stage from the beginning. Therefore, even if a meditation is called "Vipassana" (observation), and even if the person feels like they are observing, if the meditation involves observing the body, such as the hands or feet, that is actually observing the five senses, and it is based on concentration. Since the focus is on the five senses, observing the five senses is still a stage of concentration, and it is still the initial stage.

There is a lot of confusion with the terminology, and it might be better not to call observing the five senses "Vipassana" (observation) to avoid confusion. However, some schools call even observing the skin or limbs "Vipassana" (observation), which makes it difficult to understand the essence of meditation.

In reality, the state that truly deserves to be called "Vipassana" (observation) is the state that appears after transcending the five senses and even the state of emptiness, reaching a state of stillness.

Some schools set this as their goal, but in reality, even "Vipassana" (observation) is just a passing stage.

When you actually reach the state of "Vipassana" (observation), you may experience a stage where you awaken to gratitude and love through the awakening of the heart chakra and connection to your higher self, and your ability to purify may increase as the Vishuddha chakra opens and energy flows. And there is a stage called the awakening of the Ajna chakra.

I have noticed that the aura is often concentrated in my Ajna chakra, so I feel that changes in the Ajna chakra may appear soon. For now, I am just observing.
