Originally, my throat chakra wasn't very open, but after meditating for about an hour this morning, and then meditating for another 2.5 hours before noon, a thin membrane-like blockage, about half the circumference of a circle located just above my throat and around my neck, was released. This allowed energy to flow more easily between the upper and lower parts of my body.
It was like a thin veil was stretched within a ring-shaped frame, similar to the thin net used for catching goldfish at a fair. While some energy could pass through this veil, it seemed to restrict the flow and intensity of the energy. It wasn't exactly a blockage, but rather a feeling that the overall flow wasn't very good.
For a few months, a blockage in my mind was released, and energy, which I can only describe as cosmic energy, began to flow from my third eye (ajna) through my throat chakra (vishuddha), down to my heart chakra (anahata), solar plexus chakra (manipura), and throughout my body, including my arms. However, recently, this energy flow has suddenly become restricted, especially around my throat, and I wondered what to do. I decided to try meditating more diligently.
Before this blockage in my mind was released a few months ago, and before I became aware of this cosmic energy flowing from my ajna, my energy levels were lower. I wasn't even aware of the energy from my ajna at that time, so I didn't realize that there was still a blockage in my throat.
My throat chakra has always been somewhat constricted, so even before the blockage in my mind was released a few months ago, it was relatively open compared to before. I thought it might be normal.
However, after the blockage in my mind was released a few months ago, the energy flowing from my ajna initially came in with a strong force and filled my entire body. The "blockage" I'm referring to is that the flow of this newly arriving energy from my ajna has become slightly restricted in my throat. So, while the overall state wasn't that bad, I couldn't help but feel a slight discomfort because even a small blockage in energy flow bothered me once I had experienced a good state.
It seemed to be a subjective illusion. I had subjectively felt that the energy flow was becoming restricted for about a week, but in reality, it wasn't.
This likely happened because I picked up a slightly negative aura on the train. When I sat down, I felt a heavy sensation and a disruption in my energy. To resolve this, I meditated thoroughly to restore my energy, and then, like today, I released the blockage in my throat, allowing the cosmic energy from my ajna to flow throughout my body again.
Although my condition was slightly disrupted for a while, after recovering, it seemed that the cosmic energy flowing from my ajna to my entire body was even stronger than before. The energy flowing into my arms was better, and I started to feel a core sensation, like a chakra, in the area behind my chest, along my spine.
- Arms (both arms):
Previously, the energy flowing from my ajna felt like a "line" through my arms.
Now, I feel that my entire arms are filled with the same energy.
- Back of the chest:
I have occasionally felt this core sensation before, but it has become easier to feel.
Therefore, I think the amount of energy flowing from my ajna has increased significantly.
Some might interpret this as simply energy being drawn from the throat into the chest, rather than energy coming from the ajna. In fact, some schools of thought interpret it that way. In yoga's pranayama breathing technique, prana, a vital energy, is drawn in. However, some interpret this as simply drawing prana through breathing (pranayama), rather than drawing it from the ajna.
In reality, the energy drawn in through breathing techniques is often a more physical energy, rather than the type of cosmic energy that flows from the ajna. However, even so, it's not surprising that someone who has practiced such techniques for many years would interpret this type of energy as prana, rather than cosmic energy from the ajna.
In fact, when reading books, the interpretation of prana is diverse. Some yoga schools simply define prana as a physical energy, while others teach that prana also includes more subtle energies. This can be interpreted as prana having a wide range of qualities, from relatively physical and coarse to more subtle. However, I think it's more natural to interpret this as a difference between the quality of energy that can be felt and the quality of energy that can be manipulated through the practice process.
Based on that interpretation, it might not be incorrect to say that this is not so much the energy of the Ajna universe, but rather that one has become able to sense and absorb a more subtle prana. The energy of the Ajna universe is something I have interpreted in that way, but it is just a matter of words, so if the expression is difficult to understand, it is okay to say "more subtle prana." However, the word "prana" usually refers to something more coarse, closer to the physical body, so I think the expression "prana" is often misunderstood.
In that sense, whether it is called cosmic energy or subtle prana, a more subtle and even more powerful energy has been filling the body from the area around the eyebrows to the throat, and spreading throughout the body, and it seems that a considerable part of the body has become filled with energy.
