By meditating, you can gradually come to sleep as comfortably as this every day. There is a feeling of grogginess when you wake up in the morning, but once you are awake, your head is clear and you can think clearly.

If you are not meditating, of course, it varies from person to person, but there are times when you can sleep as refreshingly as this only once every few years.

As meditation deepens, you become able to sleep comfortably.

Some people may be able to sleep comfortably from the beginning, but this is because their level of meditation is already deep. Some people may have had a certain level of maturity from birth, but for those whose meditation is not very deep, sleep is often accompanied by an unpleasant sensation.

While sleep is universally for removing fatigue, the feeling of refreshment when falling asleep changes significantly depending on whether or not you are meditating. Of course, this depends on the depth of your meditation, and if your meditation deepens sufficiently, there is enough comfort in your sleep.

If your meditation is not very advanced, you may be troubled by nightmares or painful experiences when you sleep. You may even speak in your sleep, uttering cries of suffering or screams related to trauma. If your meditation is not advanced, it means that you have a certain amount of conflict and your trauma is not being resolved. Therefore, these issues may surface during sleep, and you may be troubled by the trauma and conflicts that surface.

In everyday life, when you are in a state of drowsiness or trance, you may utter words related to trauma, and when you sleep, you may utter such words in your sleep. These symptoms are quite similar, and in both cases, the karmic seeds lying in the subconscious mind may surface, or trauma may be triggered, resulting in conflict, which causes suffering and leads to the utterance of trauma-related words in sleep or during a trance.

All of these are phenomena that occur when meditation is not very advanced. Some schools of thought may call this a "hell realm" and avoid it. However, in reality, these symptoms are a path that must be traversed to resolve trauma, and it cannot be avoided. If you try to avoid it, you will simply end up being a boring person who has superficially acquired morality, and in order to truly grow spiritually, it is necessary to have time to confront the trauma that lies deep within yourself.

In this area, there are schools of thought that say one should avoid the "majo" (a difficult or dangerous place), and schools of thought that say one must pass through the "majo." Whether to believe one or the other is up to each individual, but I believe the latter, that the "majo" is unavoidable.

By facing the "majo" and resolving some of the trauma, and by deepening meditation to a certain extent, one can finally sleep soundly, comfortably, and refreshingly. It is not necessary for meditation to reach extreme levels; even if it deepens to a certain extent, one can sleep comfortably.
