In spirituality, various elements are emphasized depending on the school of thought and perspective. Some of the main elements include emotions, thoughts, and energy. While these are actually interconnected, it seems that they are often understood as separate entities. These are based on relatively similar experiences, but the state of the phenomenon can be quite different.
- Emotions
- Thoughts
- Energy
A common classification is to divide the aura, which is an energy body connected to the physical body, into layers.
The classification in Theosophy is quite famous, dividing it into the physical body, the astral body, and the causal body. In spirituality, these are the main issues that arise, and in most cases, it is a problem with the astral body. The astral body governs emotions and memories, and thoughts are also classified in this layer. Therefore, when discussions about thoughts in spirituality or meditation arise, it is often related to the astral body.
When experiencing something or listening to spiritual teachings, it is important to understand which layer is being discussed. It is also important to know what is effective based on your current stage of development.
In many cases, emotional purification is the first step, which relates to the astral body. This does not necessarily require meditation, but rather, experiencing a state of "flow" through some activity involving the physical body can be effective for emotional purification. This is because when you meditate at this stage, you confront your emotions, which can lead to being troubled by thoughts and other things. Therefore, it is difficult to continue such a challenging meditation, and many people give up on meditation. Instead, it is important to repeatedly experience entering a state of "flow" by focusing on work or other activities and becoming one with the subject. This may not be called spirituality, but it is actually a spiritual experience in the astral realm.
For example, activities such as making things, designing machines, or programming can lead to a state of "flow." While it may be difficult to make money through spiritual meditation, if you work normally and enter a state of "flow," your efficiency and quality will improve, your speed will increase, and as a result, you will get a good job and a good salary, which is a win-win situation. People who are working on and trying to purify the emotional stage in the astral realm can enter a state of "flow" through work, or if they are still students, through studying or sports. A state of "flow" is a partial alignment with the subject, and by experiencing such a sense of unity, you can actively engage in your work.
This is an important foundation for spiritual practice, and whether one can progress to the next stage depends on this foundation, and it is not an exaggeration to say that. In the spiritual field, there is a method of repeatedly practicing basic exercises, and by doing something every day, one can enter a state of flow. However, this is something that most people do in ordinary jobs, and the experience of entering a state of flow by diligently working and concentrating on the task, even in ordinary jobs that are not typically considered spiritual, is repeated, and as a result, spiritual growth is often faster. Therefore, the various stories circulating in the world that say that practicing certain things in the spiritual field leads to spiritual growth are just one path, and in reality, most people spend much more time doing their regular jobs, and it is precisely the thoroughness of these daily tasks that is important for building a spiritual foundation.
In spiritual practice, it may take a few months or a few years, but ordinary people work for decades, so the difference in time and quality is significant. Entering a state of flow in ordinary work is the foundation of spiritual growth, and this is related to the astral realm. In this way, achieving results in studying, sports, or work brings emotional stability, reduces distractions, and increases energy. This indicates that the physical body and astral body are being activated and purified, and this is reflected in one's posture and expression.
In reality, many spiritual stories end there. Changing reality, attracting reality, becoming healthy, reducing distractions, and living energetically - in most cases, people seek to achieve these things. As the saying goes, "People can only achieve what they can imagine," and people cannot become what they do not know. The current situation is that false spiritual teachings, such as "You can get money through spirituality and no longer have to work," are rampant.
In many cases, there is a tendency in spirituality that "getting money and not having to work is a good thing," and people often take contradictory actions, such as paying a large sum of money to participate in expensive seminars in order to avoid financial difficulties. Only the organizers of the seminars can obtain large sums of money, and as a result, a hierarchy is created among the seminar staff, and they become trapped in a life bound by money. This is because people naturally obtain what they seek, and because the initial goal was money, the result is also money.
It is rare for people to truly seek spiritual growth, and this is because they are often unaware of higher realms.
This refers to a world of energy, a world free from distractions, and a world of rich emotions. It is also sometimes called enlightenment or liberation.
Each level has a certain quality of energy. Lower energies are of a certain nature, while higher energies are lighter, and each has its own vibration. This is both about energy and about vibration.
Some schools of thought emphasize the quality of energy and may not talk much about distractions.
There is also the topic of "being able to read the minds of others" in spiritual discussions. There are two types of people who are said to have this ability, but in reality, many of them have unstable auras and come into contact with others, causing information exchange. In this case, they may be emotionally immature and have low vibrations, but they can perceive what others are thinking. This is quite common, and while they may be called "spiritualists," they often lack knowledge of higher realms. The other type has a stable and purified aura, and can see the minds of others from a higher perspective. This is the proper way, and ideally, one should strive for this. However, even if one can read the minds of others, it often becomes clear that it is of little significance. Therefore, they consciously avoid reading minds unless necessary. Reading the minds of others rarely reveals anything of great value, and even if it does, the information gained is often trivial. Furthermore, people have mouths and ears, so it is much better to understand things through direct communication. Even if one can read the minds of others, understanding their true intentions and context is often more difficult and time-consuming than a normal conversation. Therefore, one cannot assume that the thoughts perceived are necessarily the person's true feelings. For these reasons, reading the minds of others is often of little value.
Taking these points into consideration, it is better to purify one's energy and engage in spiritual activities (such as reading minds) in moderation, and to follow the proper path. To do this, it is essential to understand what is truly spiritually correct and what is not. For this reason, concepts that are widely promoted, such as the law of attraction, wish fulfillment, or fortune-telling, are often of little value. What is truly important is to understand that the only thing that matters is connecting with higher realms.
