Most of what is called "awakening" or "enlightenment" is probably just a psychological effect.

There are various claims, such as the opening of the third eye or the activation of chakras, but often these experiences are just perceived as such.

The level of these aspects varies greatly from person to person, depending on their spiritual evolution. What is said by some people is often just something that catches their attention for the majority of people. In many cases, people feel something based on what they hear, and in some cases, there is external influence, and the actions of higher-dimensional beings sometimes occur, even if only slightly. Of course, those who have not opened their chakras at all will not receive anything. However, in Japan, where there are many spiritually inclined people, I think that many people's chakras are at least somewhat active. Even the lower chakras can allow for some degree of inspiration, but that doesn't necessarily mean enlightenment or awakening.

Almost everyone actually receives inspiration, but most of the time they are not aware of it. Even if they do notice it, those who interpret it from a spiritual perspective, especially beginners, often attribute it to a single moment of awakening or enlightenment, or to their chakras. On the other hand, those who are not spiritually inclined tend to interpret it as their own "self" generating the idea.

It is relatively easy for anyone to experience a moment of realization, such as when they hear something and think, "Ah." However, that is not yet awakening or enlightenment, and the chakras are not necessarily open. In fact, it is normal for most people, especially in Japan, to have their chakras somewhat open, and to be able to receive inspiration.

Therefore, even if nothing seems to have changed, hearing such stories can make people feel like they might be experiencing something similar. In reality, everyone has some degree of openness, so there is a certain degree of familiarity.

In reality, when the unconscious inspirations are integrated with the conscious mind, they are no longer perceived as fleeting moments of inspiration, but as a constant and normal perception. Some people call this "clairaudience," and it allows one to clearly hear the voice of inspiration. Once that happens, it is no longer considered inspiration, but simply a clear voice. The perception remains in the conscious mind.

When listening to inspiration, it is difficult for the perception to remain in the conscious mind, and it is often forgotten unless it is immediately written down. However, when one can clearly hear it in the conscious mind, like with clairaudience, the perception remains in the conscious mind just like when having a conversation or listening to a sound. At that point, one might feel that their chakras have become somewhat activated. However, before that, there is no noticeable change, and it is simply that the chakras are somewhat active from the beginning.

This can be expressed as the activation of chakras, or as a clearing of consciousness, or as progress in letting go. They are essentially the same thing. There are clear distinctions in reality, but that is something that each individual can pursue.

People who practice yoga or certain spiritual traditions tend to think in terms of zero and one, and often talk about whether or not their chakras are open. However, this is a matter of degree, like the difference between light and darkness.

For example, some yoga traditions say, "Chakras are for advanced practitioners, so they are not relevant to beginners. It's probably just your imagination." This is true in general, but in Japan, there are a certain number of people who are born with a higher level of spirituality. Therefore, I sometimes wonder if applying the common sense of Indian-based traditions, which were developed in a physical society, might not be a good fit. However, that is just a general statement, and I have no particular objections to it, so I often ignore such comments.

In reality, chakras become truly relevant after the kundalini energy begins to move, and after the kundalini energy rises to the Sahasrara chakra, it begins to move as an integrated chakra, combining the Ajna and Anahata chakras. Therefore, chakras become relevant at that stage. Before kundalini, the seven chakras are not very relevant, and even after a certain level of spiritual growth, the seven chakras become less relevant.

In my experience, there are a certain number of spiritually advanced people in Japan who have been living with the "integrated chakra" from the very beginning, and these people may not even know what chakras are.

If someone is concerned about their chakras, it means they are at a stage of interest in Kundalini, so it is likely that they have not yet reached enlightenment. However, if someone does not know about chakras, there is a difference between whether they are still before Kundalini or whether they are already beyond it.

Even if someone is born with spiritual inclinations, they may still feel like they are one step away from ultimate enlightenment or awakening. Therefore, for most people, even if they feel something is happening, it is often just their imagination.

Until about a hundred years ago, people who reached enlightenment during their lifetime often had a natural inclination towards it. However, recently, there has been a change, and more and more people are experiencing rapid spiritual growth. So, even if it initially seems like it's just your imagination, there is no need to be overly pessimistic.
