If you do not set limits, you can approach God infinitely.

Gradually, as you overcome limitations, you draw closer to God.

"This is impossible," "This is unreasonable," such limitations do not inherently exist. These limitations, imposed by oneself or others, restrict one's consciousness and create boundaries for the consciousness that is, in essence, a part of God.

This may not always take the form of a clear limitation, but it can manifest in other ways. For example, the idea of "understanding leading to enlightenment" creates a limitation by confining oneself to the stage of "understanding." By setting the limitation of "understanding," one restricts oneself from reaching the human way of being that transcends understanding and approaches God. Overcoming this limitation, which exists in another form, allows one to take another step closer to God. However, if one creates limitations such as "God can only be known through understanding" or "truth can only be obtained through understanding," it becomes difficult to even recognize that these are limitations, and as a result, it becomes difficult to overcome them.

In some areas of psychic ability, there are often pre-determined limitations, such as the ability to read minds, predict the future, or engage in remote viewing, based on historical practices or long-term relationships between teachers and students. For example, there may be limitations set on the extent to which one can read minds, the accuracy of predicting the future, or the precision of remote viewing. While it is often thought that very few people can read minds accurately, and no one can read them perfectly, and that this is true for most people, having self-imposed limitations prevents one from overcoming them and hinders growth.

Even in the state of meditative stillness, if one believes that a certain state has been achieved and that it is the limit, that belief becomes a limitation, making it difficult to surpass it.

In the context of other abilities, in the past, it was common for people to talk about flying, but nowadays, people create a self-imposed limitation that "humans cannot fly," and as a result, they cannot fly.

While there is a limit to the time in one's life, and there is a certain extent to which one can progress, the mindset of setting limitations has a significant impact on spiritual growth.

As long as there is a sense of self, there will inevitably be perceived limitations. However, by maintaining the feeling that "this may not be the end," those limitations can transform from being limitations to opportunities, and there will be times when you can overcome them.

▪️Not setting limitations and ego-lessness

In reality, the concept of not setting limitations is closely related to ego-lessness. When the sense of self is strong, limitations are created. On the other hand, not setting limitations means being in a state of ego-lessness. The degree to which this is achieved varies from person to person, but the degree of thoroughness and the degree to which it is established will determine how easily limitations can be overcome and how easily a state of ego-lessness can be maintained.

▪️When one becomes ego-less, the entire soul ascends

When the sense of self remains, the pure and ego-less part is separated from the ego part, and the ego-less part ascends and merges with the group soul, while only the ego part remains on Earth or in heaven, repeating a (small) cycle of reincarnation. In this case, the ascended ego-less part is, of course, happy, but the ego part that remains on Earth or in heaven will repeat a life as a "miserable" and "small" self.

Therefore, it is important to become ego-less while living on Earth. However, it is not necessary to be completely ego-less. If you become ego-less to the extent that you can be completely ascended, even a certain amount of ego can be ascended together.

It is a blessing to be able to live a life with little suffering, happiness, and ego-lessness at the end of life. If that is the case, the entire being will ascend and return to the group soul, completing a (large) cycle of reincarnation. This completes a cycle as a group soul and as a causal body (karma). That is the most desirable state.

▪️Approaching God through ego-lessness, aiming for post-mortem ascension

In life, we live a life of ego-lessness and intend to break through limitations or overcome perceived limitations. By doing so, we gradually approach God. As a result, if we can die happily, ego-lessly, and filled with bliss, we will ascend as a whole.

In that case, life will be easy and happy, and there will be no pitiful ego left on Earth after death. We can ascend our entire being, which can be called a soul or spirit, and return to the group soul, which is the source. That is a perfect life.

The two most important things are:

- Not thinking about limitations (becoming selfless).
- Thinking of oneself as God.

There may be a misunderstanding here. If you simply think of yourself as God, it will lead to arrogance. On the other hand, becoming selfless and transcending limitations is directly connected to the consciousness of God, and it is like the two sides of a coin. The state of being selfless and not thinking about limitations is the consciousness of God, and the consciousness of God is being selfless and not thinking about limitations. If you only consider one side, it will lead to something strange, but if you consider both sides, it is a natural thing.

If you can achieve this state to some extent, you will be able to ascend without separation after death, and escape the cycle of (small) reincarnation. This is also what is called Moksha (liberation) in Vedanta.
