I used to read this book casually when it was popular, but I remembered that it was available at the nearby library, so I borrowed it to read it again. I wanted to read the main story of "Ami," but it was so popular that there were 70 people waiting to reserve it, so I borrowed the sequel, "Ami Returns." It contained a story about soulmates.
I remembered that a few decades ago, the concept of soulmates was very popular, and there were many stories about soulmates being destined for each other or getting married.
I think I may have read this before, but I might have skipped over this part.
Now that I think about it, "Ami" might have been the spark that started the soulmate craze.
However, the soulmate trend faded, and recently, there's been a growing sentiment in the spiritual community that "soulmates don't exist! Soulmates are a lie!"
Nowadays, almost no one talks about soulmates, and even if they do, they're likely to receive a dismissive response like, "Oh, that's a nostalgic idea (laughs)."
My own feelings about the term "soulmate" are similar; I think, "Oh, I remember that too..." However, in my own experience, I have dozens of soulmates, so I think, "Is that all? Just two?"
Is it possible that there are only two soulmates?
Perhaps, in order to make it easier to understand, the concept of "soulmate" was simplified.
Regarding reincarnation, there are cases where the soul reincarnates directly, and cases where it first merges with a group soul and then separates to reincarnate. So, it's not entirely inaccurate to say that soulmates are simply two souls that have separated from the same group soul.
I've never married someone who I would consider a soulmate in this sense. I don't understand what the purpose of that would be. I've also never been born at the same time as someone of the same age. I don't understand why someone would do that.
However, it is possible. Souls that have separated from the same group soul are born as ordinary people. So, it is possible to create such a situation, but I don't know why someone would do that. I'm not saying that there aren't people who are doing that, but I haven't seen it in my own experience.
In the sense of "returning to the group soul," merging with the group soul could be considered a form of marriage. However, the story of "Ami" mentions marrying in the next life, so it could be interpreted as the same thing. It's more natural to consider it as "joining the same group soul" rather than simply "getting married." I do this quite often, and I think most people do. In my interpretation, the story of "Ami" originally meant this, but the author may not have fully understood it and wrote "marriage" instead. This is just my personal opinion.
It is true that souls that have separated from the same group soul understand each other and can sense each other's thoughts more easily than with other people. This is natural because they have the same foundation. However, this doesn't necessarily mean that they will get married in the earthly sense, at least not in my case.
Perhaps, it would be better to simply say that "soulmates don't exist!" to avoid misunderstandings like this.
I haven't read the book "Ami" in a while, and I was reminded of the somewhat nostalgic topic of soulmates.
However, the things written in this book are quite insightful and I was once again impressed by how amazing this book is. It provides guidance on consciousness and action, and it's clear that the author is deeply connected to the universe. It's not a book that seems appropriate for children. I think it's content that adults can read and enjoy.
This book contains a story about helping people who survive a planetary-scale disaster. I'd like to add a note about this in relation to events on Earth. When I was in elementary school, I had an out-of-body experience, and at that time (when I was in elementary school, about 30 years ago), the main timeline showed that the world would be destroyed by a major disaster between roughly 2000 and 2010, leading to the extinction of human civilization and the deaths of many people. According to the "rescue plan" mentioned in this book, people with a certain level of consciousness would be rescued and evacuated to a spaceship, and after the disaster, they would start a new civilization on Earth.
At that time, the sky darkened, and the world was enveloped in darkness. Everyone sensed that something was not right, and soon, the ground shook violently, massive tsunamis struck, and civilization was destroyed, leading to the near-total collapse of Earth's civilization.
However, let's call it a whim of a higher power... or rather, the will of a great angel who manages this Earth, that disaster was postponed. Specifically, thanks to the actions of the angel's messengers, events like the Y2K problem were avoided, and other disasters did not compound each other, allowing the current situation to continue.
I have experienced out-of-body experiences and even witnessed these decisions and changes in the timeline. When I was a child, my interpretation of the out-of-body experience was that the great disaster was supposed to happen, and that the continuation of civilization was due to the ego of those who wanted to continue enjoying life on Earth and those who wanted to be saved. At that time, I didn't think I could do anything about the impending destruction of the world, and I wondered if it would be wrong for me to interfere, or if the impending doom was simply fate, or if helping would be an act of my own ego.
In the timeline I saw, the great disaster was caused by a series of coincidences that accumulated people's anxieties, eventually exceeding a threshold and leading to war and disaster. Even avoiding one of those coincidences could have prevented the war and disaster. Those who could foresee the timeline could easily mitigate even minor disasters, which, in reality, was not a big deal. Nevertheless, it was enough to prevent the great disaster. Therefore, only a few people took action to avoid those key disasters, but more and more people are starting to act in that way.
For example, I avoided the Y2K problem during an out-of-body experience, not to save humanity, but because, from the perspective of the timeline, the Y2K problem was a trigger that led to destruction. I was simply curious about what would happen if I avoided it. So, it wasn't for noble reasons like saving humanity, or for justice, or for world peace, but simply out of curiosity about what would happen if I avoided the Y2K problem. And that's how we have the present. There are other crises, but that was a major turning point.
Also, I had my own selfish desire that if the Earth were to perish, I would no longer be able to enjoy the current civilization and the world for a while. So, it wasn't for noble reasons, but because I wanted to continue enjoying life on Earth, I avoided the Y2K problem, and I think I did other things too, but I experimented with them during out-of-body experiences.
Saving the Earth is just that simple. There are no great heroes, but rather, it's like acting without thinking and somehow helping.
Of course, there's no evidence of what I did during out-of-body experiences, but I'm certain that I'm currently in a timeline where the great disaster has been averted.
Now, as written in "The Returned Ami," people are awakening and starting to take action to avoid the great disaster, and my current impression is, "Oh, that's good... It's becoming a better world..."
However, even though the great disaster has been averted, we cannot be complacent.
There are still groups who were waiting for the Earth's destruction and salvation by UFOs in the timeline from the past, but we are now in a timeline where the destruction and the Y2K problem have already been averted, so waiting for the Earth's destruction and salvation by UFOs is pointless... That scenario will not happen.
Although there is still a possibility that it could happen, I feel like we have passed the critical point.
When people write about these things, some people say it's "spiritual acceptance" or "everything is love." However, in my understanding, "love" is the overwhelming power of creation, destruction, and preservation. It's a realistic and harsh love that transcends petty attachments. Even if the world perishes, that's also love, creation is love, and preservation is love. Since everything in this world is love, whether humanity perishes or survives, it's all love. However, I chose to continue because I was curious to see what would happen next.
There are many pessimistic stories about the coronavirus, but I think we are already in a timeline where humanity, which should have already perished, is surviving, so we are in a relatively good timeline.
Those with sufficient abilities can easily eliminate obstacles for the sake of others, but if people are deprived of the opportunity to awaken, that would be a crime. For those with abilities, it is an extremely serious crime that must be monitored as long as the region, country, and Earth can survive. We can help them awaken, but we cannot replace them. However, it is permissible to intervene if the situation becomes severe enough. We cannot replace them unless the problem reaches a certain level.
