A real Kundalini energy may temporarily appear in the sacrum.

During nighttime meditation, it was probably only a few minutes, but afterward, as usual, I focused my awareness on the space between my eyebrows, and continued to draw in something like cosmic energy from the ajna chakra, down to the vishuddha chakra in my throat, and then to the anahata chakra in my chest. The amount of energy that descends to the anahata chakra and below varies depending on the degree to which the ajna chakra and the energy channel in the center of the head are open. This time, I would say it was "normal," although I felt like it could open more, but it was open to some extent.

Recently, because the anahata chakra has been opening and I've been feeling love more easily, I felt a pressure-like sensation, and energy was filling my chest. Even though I was meditating, I suddenly recalled things from the past, and I remembered that when I heard a familiar song, the memory of that song came back, and I thought, "That feeling I temporarily felt when listening to that song was the same as the feeling of love in the anahata chakra." It's a famous song that starts with, "We are on this journey to become happy..." I remembered things from the past when I heard this song recently in the cafeteria, but when I listen to this song (and remember those things), I get emotional, so I try to appear calm so that people around me don't look at me strangely. So, I was recalling the emotions I had temporarily suppressed when I heard it in the cafeteria, and experiencing those feelings during meditation.

As I was doing that, as if in response to the ajna chakra (third eye) between my eyebrows, my concentration on the ajna chakra intensified slightly, and I felt a slight pressure between my eyebrows. Suddenly, there was a strange surge of energy in the area of the sacrum, along my spine. The height was the same as the upper part of my foot, along my spine. When I put my hand on the spot where I felt the sensation, and then moved my hand forward towards my foot, it was about the height of the upper part of my thigh (front side). So, it wasn't the very bottom of my spine, but probably around the sacrum. There was a strange surge of energy in that area that I had never felt before.

This sensation is difficult to express in words. If I were to describe it in terms of color, it would be a light, yellowish-brown color, similar to the color of soil, or a light yellow-brown, with the yellow being slightly stronger than the brown. It wasn't that everything was that color, but rather it was a circular or oval surge of energy, with many fine brown lines within that circular area. The overall sensation was either brown or close to black and white, but it wasn't a complete white energy, nor was it a complete black energy, and there was no sense of "black" like gray, and it wasn't completely white either. It's a strange sensation, as if it has a slight color, but that color isn't a diluted black, nor is it based on white. It's quite difficult to express.

After a while, the surge of energy subsided and returned to normal. What could it be? It's different from the love of the anahata chakra, and it's also different from the cosmic energy of the ajna chakra or the sahasrara chakra. If that's the case, perhaps this is finally kundalini. If that's the case, then the sensations I've been feeling, thinking they might be kundalini, were not actually kundalini. Well, let's see what happens.

In the world, it's often said that "what people often think is kundalini is not actually kundalini itself, but simply the rising of shakti (energy)." If that's the case, then the sensations I've been experiencing so far were not kundalini, but simply the rising of shakti, and that makes sense.

If I can reproduce this energy and be able to maintain that state 24 hours a day, then perhaps that would be a true awakening.

If that's the case, then I am still not fully awakened, and there is still a lot of room for growth.

This is probably said differently depending on the school of thought.
・This is called Kundalini, and those that came before are not considered Kundalini, but rather Shakti (power). Both ascend.
・There are schools of thought that divide Kundalini into two: physical Kundalini and higher Kundalini. Both ascend.
・There are schools of thought that divide Kundalini into two or more, such as earthly Kundalini and cosmic Kundalini. Some schools call things that descend Kundalini as well. The cosmic aspect is sometimes called cosmic Kundalini.
I will try to apply it to my personal situation.
・Kundalini as physical (earthly) power. This corresponds to various stages: dominance of Manipura, Anahata, Vishuddha, and Ajna. The sensations at each stage are quite different. At this point, not much cosmic Kundalini energy is entering, and through long meditation, one can temporarily reach a state of stillness by occasionally reaching Sahasrara.
・Cosmic energy. Public consciousness of creation, destruction, and maintenance. This is what is often referred to as the higher self. Union with Purusha (divine spirit). These were significant energetic changes, but they are more of a soul fusion, and while Kundalini energy is included in that, it doesn't seem to have a direct relationship in this context.
・This is a more fundamental Kundalini. It can be called higher, but it can also be said to be unearthly. It is an earthly energy. The ancient analogy of a coil or a snake is perfectly appropriate. (It is unclear whether this is ordinary Kundalini or cosmic Kundalini.)
Probably, this is not the end, and there may be another stage of cosmic energy beyond this, and perhaps even further beyond that, but for now, it is just a feeling. If that is the case, then what appeared temporarily this time may be ordinary Kundalini, and the story of "cosmic Kundalini" may be something further, but we will have to see.

First and foremost, it is important to stabilize the Kundalini energy (or "serpent") that was temporarily experienced this time.

As suggested in the spiritual counseling session, if the Swadhisthana chakra near the sacrum is considered the female aspect, then it is understandable that energy similar to Kundalini emerged near the sacrum when listening to music by a female singer. According to that counselor, the conventional understanding that Kundalini is located in the Muladhara chakra or the Swadhisthana chakra is inconsistent because the Muladhara chakra represents the male aspect of Kundalini, while the Swadhisthana chakra represents the female aspect, and that complete Kundalini awakening requires both. Since I am male, it is necessary to supplement and activate the female energy that is lacking in men, and simply listening to songs by a female singer may activate the female Kundalini in the Swadhisthana chakra, which in turn temporarily activates the overall Kundalini energy of both male and female.

The next morning. I observed the energy around the sacrum more closely during meditation. There was energy there, albeit faint, and it seems that this energy has been gradually present for some time, perhaps a few months, but it was not a significant amount of energy, so I was probably ignoring it. Even during the morning meditation, the basic practice is to focus on the space between the eyebrows and bring cosmic energy from the Ajna chakra to the Anahata chakra in the chest, but while doing so, I feel a slight increase in energy near the sacrum, although not as strong as last night.

As I continued meditating, a small portion of the energy in the sacrum rose along the spine to the crown of the head. It is a faint energy, and it feels like a slight tingling, so it is a subtle movement that I would probably ignore if it weren't for the experience with the sacrum the other day. The "tingling" sensation is something I have used to describe similar feelings in the past, but this time, a faint energy with an image of brown or yellow rose from the sacrum to the crown. This is not a strong energy like last night, but rather a slight increase in energy. Therefore, I feel that there is still more to come, but the quality of the energy seems promising.

A few days later.

This is not just about location, but also about the deepening or purification of consciousness. Initially, there is no sense of connection between the point of focus in the space between the eyebrows and the energy near the sacrum, and there is no realization that the space between the eyebrows and the sacrum are related. However, as meditation continues and consciousness deepens, a focal point suddenly appears in the space between the eyebrows. This focal point has existed before, but the feeling of focus is different. When the focus deepens to a certain extent, a sense of interaction and connection with the sacrum is felt. The "deepening of consciousness" mentioned here refers to the state where the focal point in the space between the eyebrows becomes a new state, and also the state where that focal point can feel a connection with the sacrum. On the other hand, the "purification of consciousness" refers to the state where the aura of the head and body is several stages deeper than the state before starting meditation, regardless of the space between the eyebrows, and this can happen in various orders. In terms of understanding, it is easier to understand that consciousness becomes quiet before consciousness deepens, but when observing, it seems that there are times when consciousness deepens before becoming quiet. However, to have a certain degree of connection with the sacrum, both are necessary (regardless of the order). A slight increase in energy is possible even with a certain degree of quietness, but a firm connection between the sacrum and the space between the eyebrows requires a certain degree of quietness. Perhaps this is a matter of degree, and as quietness deepens, it becomes easier to focus, and the energy in the sacrum is activated.
