It is often said that research shows that children who experience prolonged bullying in childhood have, on average, a brain development that is 20-30% smaller compared to typical children. I believe I may be one such example. Perhaps, even if someone appears to be a typical person, their brain development may be tens of percent smaller compared to the original development of Japanese people.
- Original Japanese people
- Typical Japanese people (tens of percent smaller)
- Japanese people who experienced bullying (further tens of percent smaller)
Therefore, in most cases, becoming a true Japanese person requires a significant transformation of consciousness, which includes understanding, but more importantly, it requires resolving the brain shrinkage.
This situation likely occurred because of the subtle policies against Japan imposed by external forces since the 20th century, which had negative effects. This may have been done with malicious intent, or perhaps out of fear towards Japanese people. The GHQ's 3S policy (sports, screen, sex) is well-known, but beyond that, the media's manipulation of public opinion, which created a situation where Japanese people would sabotage each other, was also a carefully planned and long-term effort since the 20th century.
The media promotes glamorous lifestyles, which serves as marketing and fuels materialistic desires. However, this also creates emotions such as jealousy, fear, anger, envy, and resentment, and cultivates a sense of inferiority among people. As is often seen in the bubble era generation, it produced a large number of people who are quick to anger, greedy, envious, and sometimes appear polite but quickly become displeased if things don't go their way, and are very greedy for their own benefit, which is very un-Japanese. These people created a situation where hierarchies and bullying were normalized in families, schools, and communities, and where cycles of bullying occurred between generations or categories. This created a situation where, for many years, people's minds and actions were suppressed, restricted, and prevented from thinking.
In such a situation, it seems that only those who actively belittled and bullied others and achieved victory were able to avoid brain shrinkage. This has created a world where evil thrives, where greedy and powerful people become more intelligent. As a result, many good citizens whose brains have shrunk become foolish, unable to think for themselves, and spend their days in a state of slavery.
And, as a spiritual lie, there is a story that "no matter what kind of life it is, you chose it." However, such propaganda is, in fact, a logic used by the winners to tell the losers or slaves, "Since you chose your life as a slave, accept it willingly." In reality, it is a distorted interpretation of the truth. The original context of "I" refers to "Oneness," which is the universe itself. Therefore, it is not a story of fate or free will, but simply that everything in this world exists within the "I" of Oneness consciousness. So, any life is the life of that "I" of Oneness. If that is the context, then it is only natural to say that everything is chosen by "I." However, there are cleverly designed spiritual lies and traps that manipulate this concept for their own convenience, intimidating and controlling others, and preventing them from growing.
There is a saying like, "The one who is being bullied is at fault," but this is also a spiritual lie that is often accepted. However, it depends on the situation, and it is not always true. In most cases, the one who is bullying is at fault.
This kind of story can be easily understood by returning to the basics. The important thing is who is feeling inferior. If someone feels inferior, they will experience jealousy, which leads to bullying. Therefore, the one who is feeling inferior is the one who is bullying. On the other hand, if they retaliate, it may appear that the one who was feeling inferior is being bullied. In that case, it is a situation where both sides are at fault. However, in that context, it is not impossible to say that "the one who is being bullied is at fault," but if it is excessive, it is also a situation where both sides are at fault.
If we talk about good and evil, it can be like that. However, if we look at the root of the problem, it is that Japanese people are set up to pull each other down.
Therefore, bringing up the topic of good and evil and arguing about who is right or wrong is not very effective, and it may even cause the person who is considered "bad" to become more resistant or be ostracized from society. This can have a negative impact across generations and may lead to situations such as "child mafia," which is a problem overseas.
The problem lies with people who are fundamentally lacking in understanding and are rooted in incorrect fixed ideas, yet surprisingly have a good grasp of things and are cunning, and who, when pointed out by others, retaliate or claim to be bullied. In reality, these people appear to be relatively well-adjusted among the short-sighted and low-level individuals, which is why they are problematic.
When this becomes severe, it can lead to "child mafia," but even without reaching that extreme, this is a fairly common issue among Japanese people. Within a small group, they may appear intelligent, but due to their brains being shrunken, they remain at a superficial level of cleverness. They are, in essence, small-minded people who can only protect themselves by attacking or avoiding others. And if they are troublesome people in the community, they may even create situations where they become "half-delinquents."
So, what should be done?
First, reduce exposure to environments that create feelings of inferiority. Luxurious lifestyles, expensive items, and extravagant trips can be toxic for many people. Simply enjoying them without comparison may not be harmful, but many programs during the bubble era were designed to induce feelings of inferiority in others, trying to gain viewership by mocking them. Although such programs have decreased since the advent of YouTube, they may still exist (although I may not have seen them).
Therefore, the situation where children only watch the YouTube channels they like is often described as an "echo chamber" or "filter bubble," and it is often portrayed as a bad thing. However, in terms of preventing brain shrinkage and promoting healthy development of the Japanese brain, this situation may not be so bad, and may even be preferable. Children who grow up watching television and feeling inferior may have their brains shrink, but children who grow up in an echo chamber or filter bubble, maintaining their own (sometimes distorted) perceptions, may avoid brain shrinkage, and ultimately have room for growth later on.
In education, there is a saying that it is better to focus on what a child likes, and other subjects will naturally improve. This is because doing what you like promotes brain development. Therefore, being able to focus only on one's interests in an echo chamber or filter bubble can be a beneficial situation.
At that time, a guide for adults is necessary to avoid excessive bias, but I think it is not necessarily a bad thing to do only what one is interested in. By doing so, one can avoid the negative influences of external pressure and achieve good growth.
Of course, it is necessary to learn various things before becoming an adult, but that can be done by the time one becomes an adult. By that time, the brain will have grown and be able to learn many things quickly. However, if the brain shrinks, one's understanding, memory, and cognitive abilities will remain low.
Therefore, especially during childhood, it is important not to yell at or scold children. There may be times when this is necessary, but it should be done only once every five or ten years, or only when one is truly at their wit's end. This depends on the child, but basically, Japanese children have a relatively high innate spiritual level. This is because Japanese people are essentially reincarnations of residents of the celestial realm (heaven), so they generally have a high level of understanding and spiritual awareness. Therefore, there is usually no need to scold them, but sometimes there may be children who are not of that kind.
In the spiritual world, it is often said that such children have recently become like that, but I think it has been like that for quite some time. Even though we talk about the celestial realm, there is a slight hierarchy between the realm where ordinary people live and the realm where gods live. The realm where gods live is slightly higher class, but in either case, both are part of the celestial realm. Recently, the celestial realm has been rising overall and becoming closer to the divine realm, but in either case, the level is slightly different from that of other countries.
In the past: The celestial realm (where ordinary people live), and the divine realm (where gods live).
Now: Both are becoming quite close to the divine realm, and are mixed.
In the past, there were educational and environmental systems that hindered each other's progress. Now, if one simply brings out the inherent nature of the Japanese people, things will improve quickly. This is not just about changing one's perception, but also about developing the brain to the extent that is natural for Japanese people. This can be done even after becoming an adult, by releasing the state of a hardened brain and restarting growth.
For this purpose, yoga techniques and meditation can be helpful. It may take some time.
Sometimes, it can happen suddenly due to traffic accidents or other incidents, but this is rare and carries high risk, so it is generally better to proceed gradually over time.
