This can be listed as a negative aspect of channeling.

In reality, channeling is essentially the same as talking to a living person with a physical body. Therefore, the important thing is who you are talking to and what you are saying or hearing.

However, spiritual people often absolutize channeling, mistakenly believing that they should do something because they were told to, or that it is a message from God. But the entities that convey messages through channeling are not necessarily beings of a high dimension, so the more specific the message, the more it is human-like.

At higher dimensions, good and evil disappear, and there is only a state of enlightenment. Therefore, there is no need to say complicated things. There is only enlightenment, or, in other words, light. So, if it is a being of a higher dimension, it will only talk about such things. On the other hand, beings who convey detailed knowledge are relatively human-like deities.

In reality, it often seems that spirits, such as monks or nuns, are the ones who convey messages from God. In past lives, people who have practiced spiritual disciplines like those of a Swami may sometimes behave like deities. However, even though it is invisible, they are essentially no different from living humans.

Alternatively, if it is an extraterrestrial being, there is technology such as telepathy. They may initiate channeling unilaterally, and they can hear what you are saying. This may be done using the abilities of extraterrestrial beings, or it may be done using technology.

This is often selected randomly, so to speak, it is like talking to someone you happened to meet while traveling. Therefore, it is foolish to have a sense of being "chosen" just because you have experienced channeling. In many cases, it is because you happened to be there that you were approached.

It is also quite common for guardian spirits or the spirits of friends and acquaintances to speak to you. This is often like "a neighbor who is always looking out for you," "a family member who takes care of you," or "a friend who likes to chat." Because there are many such people around, a certain amount of your thoughts are being filled with conversations from these people.

Occasionally, you may receive spiritual teachings from someone as an extension of this. However, even if the knowledge you receive is wonderful, it is not yet your own.

In the spiritual hierarchy, knowledge obtained through channeling can be quite troublesome because it easily leads to the illusion of "knowing" and "being capable."

Some schools of thought consider channeling to be something undesirable, and that is because of these dangers. In reality, it is not so different from talking to someone, and if you understand that, there is generally no problem. However, there is a risk of misunderstanding or, alternatively, of easily following its instructions.
