In the world, there are many advertisements that say "Easy awakening!", "Easy to let go!", or "Easy ascension!". However, in reality, these are often said by people who have already advanced to a certain extent, and it's questionable whether those who haven't even started climbing the "stairs" can easily do so.
Therefore, when people in the world say "easy!", it's often a promotion for spiritual businesses, and although it's sad, I think it's not actually that easy. While saying "easy" can sometimes lead people to start with the expectation of an easy path, and sometimes they do experience an easy awakening, the very act of saying "easy" itself isn't necessarily a bad thing. However, sometimes, it feels like it's being said too carelessly and irresponsibly.
In reality, there are many people who are suffering psychologically, and it's very irresponsible to advertise something like "Your worries will be solved easily!". In reality, those who are suffering so much won't be solved so easily, and those who can solve it easily are often people who don't have many problems or have already overcome the initial hurdles.
In any case, to some extent, people need to make their own efforts.
When I say these things, some spiritual people might say, "It's already an era where effort is no longer necessary, so talking about effort is old-fashioned and you're being bound by old constraints. You need to let go of such values." However, the reality is that there are many people who have deep problems that won't be solved easily, and it's extremely irresponsible to casually say "easy" to those who are suffering.
It's true that the "heavy" mentality of "effort" is not necessary and should be let go. However, at the same time, there are many people who are already deeply immersed in reality, unable to move their hands or feet, find it difficult to leave their rooms, cry or experience numbness or stomach pain just from trying to go to school, and are similarly unable to go to work. How can anyone irresponsibly say "easy awakening," "easy solution," or "easy ascension" to those people?
Well, indeed, it's true that for some people, it might be "easy." However, there's no need to tell that to those people, and those people are likely already making progress in "letting go," and might just need a little hint to awaken.
In the end, what I want to say is that spiritual awakening is fundamentally "difficult." Specifically, it generally requires "detaching from reality" for several years. Even if it's difficult to completely detach from society, it's necessary to reduce work and increase the time available for spiritual practice, and a period of distancing oneself from social life and shifting one's focus from the material world to the spiritual world is absolutely necessary, and I think that period is generally several years. Once you reach a certain level, you can deepen your spirituality while working, but until you reach that level, it seems necessary to do something akin to training, away from the realities of society. This doesn't necessarily have to be in the mountains, but even if it's in a city, it's necessary to go to a place where you can do a certain amount of spiritual practice for several years. It's necessary to go to such a place and receive proper guidance from a teacher.
Therefore, what is often advertised in the world as "easy spirituality," "easily changing reality," "easy reality creation," or "easy letting go" is only "spirituality that is interesting in a vague way." True spirituality, especially in the beginning, requires a period of several years of isolation.
Of course, for those who are born with a certain level of spiritual awareness, such a period may not be necessary. However, for those who are just "self-proclaimed spiritual" people who don't have specific spiritual characteristics and are simply fans of spirituality, unfortunately, they are often just "fashion" spirituality.
These people are also an important starting point for spirituality, and it's not about denying this "fashion" stage, but when people who are attracted to words like "easy" approach it, they are often surprised to find that it actually requires a serious effort.
Ultimately, people may approach spirituality with slogans like "fashion" or "easy," but when they actually try to do it, they have to confront their past karma and inevitably resolve the accumulation of the past, so a certain amount of hardship is always involved.
However, that doesn't mean that it's always a painful experience; there is also a way to do spirituality with joy and laughter. There are stories of people who, without worrying too much and simply laughing, have their karma resolved and awakened without realizing it. For example, my past life wife and many others are in a community in the afterlife, and they are all good people who live and laugh happily together, and in the process, their karma is resolved and they are approaching awakening. In such cases, you can approach awakening smoothly with the help of your environment and friends. However, generally, a certain period of isolation from society and a period of resolving spiritual karma are necessary, and that is something that can be quite difficult.
Well, even if it's difficult, continuing to suffer and repeat the harsh reality is more painful than confronting and resolving karma early on. In that sense, perhaps that is "easy" in the long run, but that's different from the impression people generally have when they hear the word "easy." Basically, there's no such thing as something that's simply "easy"; it usually requires time for training or something else to confront oneself.
