It is said that even if superconsciousness begins to manifest experientially, it usually takes several years to become aware of it through normal conscious awareness. Initially, even if kundalini or the higher self are unified, it takes that long to grasp and become aware of what that was, and what state one is currently in. (I believe this was written in the works of Professor Honsan.)
I understand this. Several years ago, I experienced a unification with what is called the "higher self" (a 6-dimensional consciousness) from the depths of my chest, towards my back. Recently, it seems that the awareness of that higher self has begun to emerge.
The emergence of this awareness does not mean that the normal conscious mind disappears. The previous conscious mind still exists as the lower self, but a higher-level awareness of the higher self emerges. If we were to categorize this into stages, a more appropriate term might be "middle self," as it is the awareness of this intermediate self, still an individual self, that is being realized.
The mind is the lower self, and the creative, destructive, and maintaining consciousness connected to the heart is the middle self (or the general higher self), while above that is the universal consciousness of Atman or Brahman in Vedanta. What I am referring to here is the emergence of the awareness of this intermediate middle self (the general higher self).
This general higher self (the intermediate middle self) is a higher-level consciousness, even if it is intermediate, and transcends space and time to some extent.
Because it transcends space and time, the higher self, as a consciousness, feels that the "lower self, which had been on a journey on Earth for a while," has returned. It feels, "Welcome back. It's good to have you back." And it says, "The difficult life on Earth must have been tough. Would you like to share with me (the higher self) what that experience, that memory, that feeling was like?" The higher self then re-experiences the lower self's experiences. This knowledge is the greatest gift for the higher self, and it receives the lower self's experiences as something valuable.
On the other hand, the lower self is enveloped in gratitude and love, and a state of fullness that is beyond love, and its aura becomes even more intense, making it feel satisfied. The lower self finally realizes that this is the place to return to. It clearly understands that it has returned to where it should be, and it clearly recognizes that it has returned to its home.
In this way, the lower self sends its experiences to the higher self, and the higher self gives its love and aura to the lower self. In reality, the two were not originally separated, but were temporarily separated in order to learn through experiences on Earth. The lower self, sent to Earth, was carrying out its tasks through experience. In my case, the purpose of this life seems to have been to "understand why certain people (especially the poor) are so twisted," and "to understand the feelings of the poor and the hardships of money." The higher self wanted to understand these states, which I had almost no experience with and could not understand in my previous life, and asked the lower self to experience these states in a difficult environment in order to understand them.
Now, the lower self understands these states to some extent and is satisfied, and by offering this understanding as a gift to the higher self, the higher self is also satisfied. The higher self blesses the lower self as a gift, envelops it in its aura, and heals it, making it feel fulfilled. Although healing has been gradually occurring, the final stage of healing, the ultimate resolution of trauma, seems to come only at this stage. Memories, traumas, and such painful emotions are obstacles for the lower self, but they are learning for the higher self. The higher self receives these learnings, memories, and traumas with gratitude and satisfaction.
In this way, the lower self and the higher self exchange gifts and become fulfilled. Eventually, they become a state of fullness.
There is still a stage beyond this, which is the state of oneness (or Christ consciousness), which is the Atman and Brahman in Vedanta. However, even before that, the higher self envelops and heals the lower self with a light aura.
