In spiritual discussions about out-of-body experiences, it is often difficult to discern the truth.

Out-of-body experiences (OBEs) are a form of spirituality, but it seems that at that stage, it's difficult to discern the truth. In the case of OBEs, other than the freedom of time and space, understanding others is limited to observing from the "outside," or through aura merging (which is not recommended) to know the other person.

In an OBE state, one can transcend time and space, so if one becomes familiar, one can trace the thoughts and pursue the cause of those thoughts. However, in the true sense, the events themselves, their meaning, their fundamental significance, and the reasons for their occurrence are difficult to know through OBEs.

This is similar to when one's spirituality progresses to the point where one can read other people's minds or see other people's situations, especially the feelings and circumstances of loved ones, and the events that have happened to them, like a slideshow. However, this is still just observing from the outside.

Reading surface-level feelings and intentions, and then feeling as if one has completely understood the other person, is a trap that many people who have just begun to develop their spirituality fall into. After a while, one might think, "Wait, I thought I understood 100%, but something is different..." In most cases, one realizes that something is wrong. However, in reality, what is perceived, seen, or heard through spirituality is only a state of observing from the outside.

When one reflects on oneself, it becomes clear that even if there is an intention or thought process running on the surface, there may be a different intention in the depths of one's consciousness. Well, saying "may" is a bit of an understatement. For people whose spirituality has not yet developed much, it is common for the surface-level conscious mind and the deep-seated subconscious mind to be disconnected. On the other hand, as one's spirituality develops, the conscious and subconscious minds become connected, the disconnection disappears, and the subconscious mind eventually becomes dominant, and the parts that were originally in the subconscious mind come to the surface like the conscious mind. However, before that, it is common for the conscious and subconscious minds to be disconnected. Therefore, when reading other people's feelings and intentions through spirituality, one is usually only reading the conscious mind, so even if one is thinking something on the conscious level, it may be different from the true intention.

■It is better to live with love than to read other people's minds through spirituality.

In the case of OBEs, the same applies. When one is in an OBE, it is easier to get closer to other people and observe them, but it is still just observing from the outside. Although there are some differences depending on the level of proficiency, thoughts can be read or not read relatively easily, but even if they can be read, they are often only conscious thoughts.

If one can read the subconscious mind, that is fine. However, if one can read the subconscious mind during an OBE, then one should be able to read the subconscious mind in normal daily life. Well, there may be some differences in terms of ease of reading, and it may be easier to read during meditation, but an OBE is just a state of being without a body. Therefore, in theory, if one were to put oneself in a state similar to meditation while in an OBE, it would be the same as meditating with a physical body. However, when one is in an OBE, one feels quite floaty, so in terms of meditation, it is actually easier to do it with a physical body. (Well, it may depend on the person.)

In any case, the abilities do not change that much just because one is in an OBE. If one can read the subconscious mind, one can read it in daily life. However, in most cases, one is only reading the conscious mind. Well, that is quite sufficient.

One can be interested in the state of people one is interested in or close to, but if one is asked to observe others through an OBE, it is almost 100% that it will be mundane problems or trivial stories. The person may be troubled by it. (As a supplement, it seems that the people who seek counseling through spirituality and the people who open their own path through practice are quite different. Although there is some overlap.) Also, when one sees someone through a request, one is not interested in the other person's life. Well, in terms of observing through an OBE, the range of what can be seen is not that different from observing in a normal state of life, simply because the limitations of time and space are removed, and one can see the past relatively freely. Therefore, in terms of "knowing," one may surprise or impress the other person, but I don't think that just being in an OBE allows one to truly understand others.

There have been times when I felt like I was observing others in an out-of-body experience and thought I understood them about 95%, or maybe not, it's that kind of feeling. But now, I think that percentage is only about the conscious mind, and perhaps I didn't truly understand the depths.

Most people live only with their conscious mind, and their subconscious mind is hardly active... This might be an overstatement, but they don't live a spiritual life where their conscious and subconscious minds are connected. Even in counseling, they only talk about conscious desires and problems, which is very superficial. I sometimes wonder if counseling is even meaningful... I feel like it's probably not very meaningful.

Instead of delving into the past or trying to find the causes of things through spiritual means, I think it's much more important to live life vibrantly, with gratitude and love. Seeing through people spiritually or reading their minds... that's pointless. Well, it's okay as a pastime sometimes. That's all. It's like a little game.

Ultimately, you have to go beyond the conscious mind and desires, and I wonder if you can reach what's beyond if you stop at things like out-of-body experiences.
