Whatever the matter may be, it is allowed and completely affirmed. However, there is a pitfall for those seeking truth: to self-justify and affirm.
In reality, the meaning of "everything is allowed" means that even self-justification is unnecessary.
In short, it means "you don't need to use your brain" or "it is already affirmed without needing to justify it with your brain."
Therefore, a common pitfall is to create elaborate arguments to justify one's actions. However, in the original state of things, everything is justified and everything is affirmed.
The world is where everything is allowed, and that means that it is completely unnecessary to think and justify things; everything is affirmed from the beginning.
It is affirmed with a feeling of the heart that overflows without any thought.
There is nothing particularly to express other than "it is so," and the reason why it is affirmed is simply because "it is so."
Even so, it is common for people to self-justify. However, everything is affirmed whether or not one self-justifies. Therefore, initially, people tend to try to self-justify and affirm their mistakes. However, originally, everything is allowed and everything is affirmed. Therefore, self-justification is unnecessary. However, if one wants to self-justify, it is perfectly acceptable and allowed. That self-justification is unnecessary, but there is no problem with trying it.
However, it depends on what one is seeking. If one is seeking truth, then one should go beyond the level of self-justification and pursue the truth, which will lead to the affirmation that does not require self-justification. On the other hand, if one simply wants to be comfortable, escape from suffering, indulge in pleasure, or temporarily forget conflicts, then one may fall into the trap of endlessly pursuing self-justification, which will lead to stagnation in spiritual growth.
Some people may ask, "Does that mean even criminals are allowed?" However, at the level of the fundamental absolute (Atman or Brahman), it is allowed. However, from the perspective of the absolute, unnecessary things are eliminated and returned to nothingness. Therefore, if something is deemed unnecessary and can be returned to nothingness, then one can do as one pleases. At that fundamental level, everything is allowed, so one can live as one pleases, and there will be corresponding consequences.
