The moment the Anahata chakra's higher self consciousness emerged, it could be said that there was already an awareness of the higher self. However, the difference recently is that the consciousness of that higher self seems to have started moving as a conscious awareness that thinks. Previously, it appeared strongly in the chest as a presence, and was strongly felt as a consciousness of love or creation, destruction, and maintenance. However, the higher self itself was not a conscious being that thought consciously. At that time, it appeared from somewhere deep inside, overlapping with the body, centered on the Anahata chakra, and forcibly pulled space in as an "intention," and that was the consciousness that I recognized as the higher self. However, it appeared as a strongly present being as something that is felt, and that remained unchanged for a while. However, this time, the higher self itself seems to be "awakening" little by little, and it seems that the higher self has started moving as a being that thinks.
As this happens, the ego seems to be absorbed by the higher self. Previously, the ego was relatively weak, but it was still the main consciousness, with the higher self as the subordinate. However, this time, the higher self has appeared on the side of conscious awareness, and the ego side has started to move to the subconscious side, so it seems that the relationship of dominance has been reversed.
In spirituality, it is often said that "in reality, the higher self has always been the master, and the ego is just an illusion and a subordinate." Indeed, that is true in theory, but in reality, I feel that it has explicitly become aware and has been replaced as a true conscious awareness.
It is not that the ego has disappeared because it has been absorbed, but rather that the ego has become subordinate to the higher self, which has become conscious. Although the ego exists in the subconscious, the consciousness that is appearing is still not completely awakened, and it feels like it is still in a state of drowsiness. However, even so, I think that the consciousness of the higher self has become slightly more dominant.
What I think now is that it is difficult to have an impact on the earth with just the consciousness of the higher self. Also, it is equally difficult with just the ego, and I think that it may be necessary to become a trinity, including the physical body, as Christianity says.
The awareness of the higher self still feels not completely connected to this world, but gradually, like observing the surroundings as a child, it seems to be watching and observing. From the perspective of the higher self, it seems that it has not yet awakened to that extent.
