There is no need to try to see the future.

There are people who are spiritual and diligently try to predict the future. However, there is no need to look into the future.

Even if one could see the future, there is no need to do so. Even if one could see the future, there is no need to try.

It's like watching a drama; even if you could see what happens next, you wouldn't want to, because knowing the ending beforehand would spoil the experience. There's no need to do something so uninteresting.

There is no need to look into the future.

That's why life is interesting... or rather, everything that happens is a joyful event, so there's no need to try to see the future. Everything is a wonderful, loving, and joyful life.

Today is fun, and every day is fun.

Therefore, there is no need to try to see the future.

People who want to see the future are consciously trying to do so. However, the deeper consciousness, such as the state of samadhi or vipassana, is connected from the past to the future. When in a state of samadhi, this consciousness spontaneously and automatically works, and the samadhi itself chooses the future. Therefore, there is no need to consciously try to see the future or choose a good future. The samadhi consciousness takes care of these details. Conscious awareness is sufficient for daily life.

Conscious awareness lives in the "present" and only focuses on the "present," while the subconscious samadhi consciousness has no past, present, or future; it is a continuous connection. Humans are made up of both.

Even if someone cannot recognize the samadhi consciousness, everyone is unconsciously connected to it. However, this is hidden by darkness (ignorance, as it is called in yoga, Vedanta, or Buddhism), so conscious awareness cannot recognize it. Everyone is connected to this subconsciousness, which is connected to the past, present, and future.

At that time, even if conscious awareness cannot see the future, all actions are based on a total judgment of the past and future. However, if there is a division between conscious and subconscious awareness, things may not go as the subconscious intends. Basically, the subconscious perfectly controls life, taking into account the past and future.

When one enters a state of samadhi, the scope of conscious awareness expands, and awareness penetrates the subconscious. Then, one can understand that the samadhi consciousness is making decisions about life, taking into account the past and future. However, from the perspective of conscious awareness, this is like a spoiler, and from the perspective of the samadhi consciousness, it may intentionally shut out information if it thinks that "knowing the future will make that life less enjoyable." Alternatively, it may intentionally show a part of the future if it judges that it will lead to a better life.

Conscious awareness has a limited scope, but the subconscious samadhi consciousness has a very wide scope and deep wisdom. Therefore, judgments in these areas are beyond the ability of conscious awareness. Therefore, it is important to expand the scope of conscious awareness through meditation and other practices. However, there is a limit to how much one can expand it. Basically, it is better to leave future decisions to the subconscious and avoid trying to see the future, and instead, live a happy and fulfilling life every day.

There are times when one sees the future, but that is actually "shown" from the subconscious. This is done for various reasons, so there is no need for conscious awareness to actively seek the future.

Occasionally, there are people with a mission who convey predictions. However, this is not relevant to most people. Most people can be happy by living their days with gratitude, together with their family, friends, and loved ones.

This is not about being blindly optimistic, but rather the opposite. It is about clarifying one's awareness and seeing things clearly, so that one can live without distractions and with a sense of gratitude.

The future, in reality, everyone knows... This might be misleading, but there's a certain aspect of unconscious co-creation. Therefore, it's not very meaningful for the conscious mind to worry and try to know the future. Instead, it's better to leave it to the unconscious.

When we say "leave it to the unconscious," it refers to the Samadhi consciousness. This Samadhi consciousness has a strong "will" at its core. This deep consciousness is constantly thinking "this and that" beneath the surface, considering things like "If I choose this timeline, it might turn out like this, so maybe I should go with this one." The conscious mind doesn't usually consciously think about these things, but in reality, everyone (probably everyone) is thinking about their lives in this way beneath the surface. From the perspective of the conscious mind, it's sufficient to let the unconscious mind plan the life and for the conscious mind to follow that plan without interfering. Even so, life actually changes only through action. Therefore, the conscious mind doesn't necessarily have to do nothing, but if it can sense the intention of the unconscious and act accordingly, that's usually enough.

As meditation progresses, the intention of the Samadhi consciousness becomes clear. The Samadhi consciousness might think, "I chose this timeline because I had this intention, and if I had chosen that timeline, it would have turned out like this." This thought from the Samadhi consciousness is conveyed to the conscious mind, and the conscious mind understands, "Ah, that's why. I guess that's okay," and then acts accordingly. This is the basic principle, and there's no need for the conscious mind to deliberately look into the future.

Rather, there are more cases where the conscious mind intentionally avoids seeing the future in order to avoid spoilers. It's possible to see the future, but it's often the case that "If I see any more, it will become less interesting," so the conscious mind chooses not to see it.
