The demon Baphomet, known as the god Isis, was summoned.

This is a story I heard from someone. I don't know if it's true.

A long time ago, this person participated in a magical ritual with a large group of people. The details are a secret, but it seems the ritual was intended to invoke the Egyptian goddess Isis and foster love.

This person didn't know the ritual, but they were a participant. The ritual began, and after preparations like drawing magic circles and performing summoning rituals, this person was called to the venue.

They were made to repeat various words, and at one point, a word meaning "bright radiance" was included. However, when this person repeated it, for some reason, they echoed the word in a way that overlapped with the others, using a special, spiritual language that normal ears couldn't hear. The word was the opposite of the original word, and I can't write it here because it would call that opposite thing to the reader. It was a very simple word, not particularly difficult, but it resonated and was heard through spiritual ears.

This person wondered, "What is this...?" but the people performing the ritual continued as if nothing had happened. Then, when it was time to invoke the goddess Isis, or perhaps before, I'm not sure, a dark, hazy shadow appeared in the air. This person wondered what it was, and then they saw a goat's head, with horns that seemed to rotate, and the face and neck of a goat, extending down a little below the neck.

During the ritual, this person didn't think much of it, just wondering, "What is this...?" But later, they realized that the goat's head might have been a demon, and they were shocked.

Because it was a ritual for Isis's love, there was a step where the male and female participants hugged. This person also hugged someone, but it seems it wasn't intentional. They had a ballpoint pen in their breast pocket, so when they hugged, it pressed against their chest. Someone from the staff seemed to notice something and came to this person, instructing them to "Please press your chest closer." However, even then, because of the pen and the difference in height, their chests didn't quite touch.

The ritual, which was supposedly an invocation of Isis, summoned a demon, and moreover, the energy was drawn from the heart... This, depending on how you look at it, seems like a terrifying thing. It seems that the person was lucky that their heart was protected by a pen, but from what I saw around them, there were quite a few people who seemed to be feeling unwell.

The person had once visited an island where the Temple of Isis used to be located in northern Egypt. At that time, they were fascinated by the refreshing energy and the encompassing love of Isis, and they came to like Isis. However, the Isis invoked in that ritual was completely different in energy, with a heavy, dark energy, more like a demon than a goddess, according to the person. This is a personal feeling, and the truth is unknown.

When researching the image of a goat's head, the demon Baphomet immediately appears. While considered a demon, some schools of thought consider it a legitimate god, and in particular, in magical traditions, it is often the object of worship as a god. Therefore, the people who were performing the ritual were likely from a magical tradition, and for them, it may have been a legitimate god, and it may have made sense to them.

Regardless of whether that is a god or a demon, the person felt that it was definitely not Isis in terms of energy. It is unknown whether this was due to the success or failure of the ritual. At least, the ritual at that time proceeded quietly and without confusion, and the instructions for hugging the invoked Isis were carried out as planned, so it didn't seem like anything wrong had happened. Therefore, the person said that it is likely that they were invoking it as Isis.

...

That is the story I heard.

It is difficult to interpret what is a god and what is a demon, and there are often cases where entities considered demons are actually good entities, or people's interpretations are wrong. If a particular school of thought interprets it that way, that is a matter of personal freedom, but the important thing is to determine which energy to trust. No matter how much you try to justify it with words or logic, the energy will not change, so whether it is a god or a demon is unknown, but (whether you call it a god or a demon), if the energy is good, it is a good entity, and vice versa.

It seems that rituals to summon deities, especially high-level deities like Isis, are not easily successful. Even if the individuals involved believe they have succeeded, they may often be summoning lower-level demons.

Ordinary people may perform summoning rituals in search of "power," but those on the other side are far more intelligent than humans. Therefore, even if humans believe they are controlling angels or demons, in reality, they are often being manipulated by those entities. Such exercises of "power" are almost impossible for humans to counter.

Even if one can wield power during their lifetime, if they have incurred the wrath of unseen entities, they are particularly vulnerable immediately after death. At that time, they may be attacked by demons. The saying that those who sell their souls to demons or make contracts with demons must be used by demons after death seems to be largely true. The old saying that those who summon demons or angels and gain power become arrogant and drown in that power seems to be correct.

Entities from the other world can change their appearance at will. Therefore, what appears to be an angel may actually be a demon, and someone who makes a contract to gain power may be used by the demon after death. Even if individuals believe they are safe, demons are more cunning, and it is better not to think that humans can control angels or demons with their knowledge.

In my opinion, angels and demons are not meant to be controlled. The basic approach should be to request things based on trust, as an extension of normal human relationships. Trying to force them to obey through magic or other means is a coercive relationship based on power, which is not admirable. Even if one thinks they are controlling something, they are often being manipulated.
