Psychic abilities without enlightenment will only deepen the suffering in life.

There is a field called magic, psychic abilities, or spiritual powers. These primarily deal with the astral realm (ether, prana in yoga), and should be considered separately from enlightenment.

While psychic abilities like precognition, intuition, or telepathy can sometimes be attributed to lower chakras like the Swadhisthana, the Swadhisthana is also known as the unconscious chakra. It operates without conscious control, manifesting spontaneously in visions or sensations, making it difficult to consciously access or transmit information. A characteristic of lower chakras is entering a trance-like state, and even with psychic abilities, the Swadhisthana is often the active chakra in many situations.

When the Manipura chakra is activated, more conscious psychic abilities may emerge, but again, these should be considered separately from enlightenment.

Sometimes, people place undue importance on these abilities, but they should be understood appropriately.

This analogy might be helpful.

Imagine someone with exceptional massage skills who can relieve physical ailments, improve posture, and increase flexibility. Just because someone is an excellent massage therapist doesn't mean they are enlightened. While some massage therapists may be enlightened, exceptional massage skills alone do not equate to enlightenment.

Similarly, even if someone experiences visions or sensations through psychic abilities, it's simply a skill, like exceptional massage skills, or simply the ability to see or hear.

In reality, the ability to see or hear through psychic means is a potential that everyone possesses upon death, and it's not inherently special. It can arise through simple techniques and knowledge, or due to near-death experiences or severe psychological trauma, but these are not necessarily related to enlightenment.

Just as there are various training methods to enhance massage skills, there are also methods to develop psychic abilities, which can lead to worldly benefits, but even with such development, it may not be directly related to enlightenment.

However, sometimes, especially the individual themselves, may mistakenly believe that their psychic abilities are a sign of enlightenment or superiority.

■ Losing interest in psychic abilities leads to losing psychic abilities.

People sometimes mistakenly believe that enhancing psychic abilities leads to enlightenment, but in higher dimensions, psychic abilities do not exist. This might sound misleading, but in higher dimensions, there are no easily recognizable physical or worldly psychic abilities.

Psychic abilities primarily deal with the astral realm (the realm of thoughts, the ether, prana in yoga), which is a physical realm. Even in the causal realm (karma, cause), it remains physical, but its physical properties weaken, and its worldly benefits diminish.

However, this is not the end. Beyond that lies the Purusha in yoga or the Atman (true self) in Vedanta, which is pure consciousness and is no longer material. Since it is not material, it has nothing to do with psychic abilities in the sense of affecting reality.

Enlightenment is about transcending the material world and reaching the Purusha or Atman, while psychic abilities are about interacting with the astral realm and affecting reality, particularly the material world. Therefore, they are quite different.

Therefore, psychic abilities and enlightenment are not necessarily related, but sometimes, people mistakenly believe that psychic abilities are a sign of enlightenment.

Indeed, psychic abilities can sometimes be a foundation for enlightenment, and a certain level of psychic ability often accompanies a certain level of enlightenment. However, having psychic abilities does not necessarily mean being enlightened.

In reality, psychic abilities accumulate and improve with each reincarnation, but as one's vibration increases, they tend to lose interest in these abilities, gradually feeling as if they no longer possess them. Even so, they can still use them if they remember, but they become less concerned with these abilities.

It is often said that if psychic abilities manifest without a corresponding level of enlightenment, it can be overwhelming and cause suffering, and this is often true.

In reincarnation, some individuals repeatedly use psychic abilities as if it were commonplace. Eventually, there comes a time when they choose a life without these abilities. This may be difficult to understand, but in the spiritual realm, there is a special "mantle" that suppresses astral abilities, eliminating clairvoyance and clairaudience before reincarnation.

This is like a soul with extensive reincarnation experience choosing to live a difficult life as a person with a disability, such as missing limbs or senses, in order to achieve rapid growth. Sometimes, suppressing psychic abilities is a way to break through a barrier to growth.

■Unenlightened psychic abilities deepen the suffering of life.

If you want to enhance your psychic abilities, you must also cultivate enlightenment. Otherwise, even if you become psychic, you may attract negative entities or only see malevolent spirits, leading to suffering. Even if you initially rejoice in seeing things you couldn't see before, if your vibration is low, you may connect with negative dimensions, leading to daily suffering and inconvenience.

If your vibration is not high enough, you may need to avoid evil spirits and crowds when walking around. If your vibration is high, you are less likely to be affected because you are in a different dimension (although this depends on the situation).

Various evil spirits roam the cities, and people unknowingly pass through them. However, if your vibration is low, you may subconsciously resonate with them and feel down. If your vibration is high, you may not be affected, and simply being near these spirits can provide them with energy, helping them to find peace.

In reality, without psychic abilities, you might not even be aware of the evil spirits roaming the crowded streets. If you accidentally stumble into the midst of them and absorb their negative energy, you might simply think you're feeling unwell. However, if you have clairvoyance, you can see the evil spirits in strange and unpleasant forms, and you will try to avoid them.

Thus, clairvoyance allows you to live by avoiding evil entities. However, even if you live by identifying and avoiding evil entities with your psychic abilities, the reality is that it's "just that." Even if you manage to avoid evil entities, avoiding them has nothing to do with enlightenment.

If you have clairvoyance but your vibration is low, it is a form of ability development, and you can do it if you want. However, if your vibration is low, you may see wandering spirits, and seeing them means your vibration is resonating with them. This resonance can lead to negative influences and suffering. Suffering arises from seeing things you don't want to see and trying to avoid evil spirits by changing your walking route, which can be quite troublesome. This can lead to fatigue.

In some of my group soul-connected lives, I lived a life of avoiding evil entities, which ultimately led to exhaustion. Sometimes, the effort to avoid them becomes so intense that you gradually lose your resistance to evil entities.

It is better to aim for enlightenment and strive for a life with high vibrations, where you are not affected by what you see or what you come into contact with.

■Misinterpreting the chatter of a guardian spirit as the voice of the heart.

There are various levels of psychic abilities, and in many cases, it is difficult to distinguish who is speaking, even if it seems like a voice in your mind.

In reality, many people can simply "hear the voice of their heart," and it's not that extraordinary. However, when someone who couldn't previously read minds suddenly gains that ability, they may mistakenly believe it is something extraordinary. In reality, especially women, often have a keen sense and can pick up on the thoughts of those close to them. This varies from person to person and depends on the people you interact with and your family. While it may be common for families to communicate through reading each other's minds, there are likely many people who cannot read minds at all.

When you are face-to-face with someone, you may sense that you are hearing their thoughts. However, if you understand the person well, you can often sense whether the thoughts you are hearing are actually their own.

On the other hand, if you don't have a deep understanding of the person, or if you are simply in a relationship based on superficial interactions, even if you hear what seems to be their thoughts, you may not be able to determine whether it is actually their words. However, people with less acute intuition may simply misinterpret it as the person's thoughts.

Invisible beings come in various forms, and while stories of foxes transforming are not as common, it is quite frequent for spirits to cause mischief or for people from the other world to speak briefly. In such cases, when a voice is heard, it is sometimes mistaken as "a voice from God," but in most cases, it is simply someone from the spirit world speaking to you.

The chatter of guardian spirits is also like that. When a guardian spirit is having a lively "gossip session" about the person they are protecting, that voice may suddenly reach the person being protected, and then that person may mistakenly believe that they are thinking those things.

In reality, the guardian spirit is having a gossip session. Even for psychics, in most cases, the voice is simply "heard unexpectedly," and it is difficult to accurately determine the source of that voice.

At a stage where the manipura or swadhisthana chakras are activated, it is difficult to distinguish the finer details. Especially, the swadhisthana chakra is the chakra of the unconscious, so even if a voice is heard unexpectedly, it is difficult to understand it deeply.

In most cases, even when listening to spiritual voices or the voice of the heart, it is heard unexpectedly from the swadhisthana chakra, and it is difficult to determine who is speaking.

Recently, something like this happened. At that time, I was having a casual conversation with a woman in a spiritual session, and my past-life wives, who were having a gossip session behind me, were investigating that woman. That past-life wife, who was from the Showa era, was gossiping about her, saying, "What is she doing? She doesn't do housework and leaves her husband to go out somewhere like this," and that woman was not liked by the past-life wives and had a bad reputation. However, the person who heard those words suddenly misunderstood that I was thinking those things, and she suddenly started to get angry about it. At first, I didn't understand what she was saying and felt it was incomprehensible. However, a little later, my invisible guide told me that it was something like that. Even with a little knowledge of spirituality, there are things that are not understood. That woman seemed to have great confidence in her own spirituality, but even with that confidence, it was only to this extent. I dislike hysterical women for any reason and avoid them, so I have almost no relationship with that woman.

It seems that this kind of confusion will not disappear until you can recognize invisible beings with (spiritual) vision, recognize who is speaking by recognizing the image as (spiritual) vision, and distinguish who is speaking based on the feeling of the words (as spiritual hearing). In other words, even when we say "spiritual," it means "feeling." We distinguish and determine by the feeling of "feeling like we can see" and "feeling like we can hear."
