People whose egos become inflated the more intense training they undergo.

There is a certain number of people like this, and the actual purpose of training is supposed to be the release or letting go of the ego, but often, as a result of the training, people end up strengthening their ego by thinking, "I have accomplished it."

The training has become a means of "validation."

There are people who claim,
"Because I did this kind of training, I obtained this kind of title."
"I completed the most difficult training."

And they become unhappy if others do not give importance to it.

You should not become a spiritual practitioner who cannot be satisfied unless they are "validated" for their understanding or accomplishments.

This is simply the wrong approach.

In reality, training can be done in everyday life.

From the perspective of training, ordinary people are doing much more rigorous training every day.

While it is certainly a difficult story to complete the training by following a limited set of procedures in a prepared environment, there are also those who cannot complete the training.

However, there are at least options available regarding whether or not to undertake such training, and in that sense, it is less harsh than the situation where ordinary people are forced to struggle with their daily work.

In training where food and a place are provided, the original purpose is to purify the ego, but there are training methods that, in a certain proportion, actually expand the ego.

According to my guide, that is because the method is wrong.

Strict ascetic practices, if done correctly, can release and purify the ego, but the basic principle is that such practices should not be talked about to others, but should be done in secret. The reason for this is that even if the training itself is intended to release the ego, talking about it to others creates a point of conflict, becomes a subject of superiority, and expands the ego after the training.

Also, there are many cases where the training itself does not go well. This may be because the training method itself was not good, or because the training was good but not suitable for the person's level, or because the guidance was not proper.

Spiritual matters are done within oneself, so it is often only the person themselves who knows how well they understand them. There are many cases where people think they are doing well, but they are not.
