Until now, it seemed that only a small percentage, 5% or 10%, of energy was flowing through this route. However, after the area slightly inside the nasal bone became relaxed, energy began to flow through it in both vertical directions, and I strongly felt energy in the crown chakra, the Sahasrara. Until now, even when energy flowed through the Sahasrara, it was limited. However, when this part becomes open, the Sahasrara seems to activate stably.
Until now, this part was particularly stiff, and I repeatedly tried to relax it. Even though I managed to relax it somewhat physically, almost no energy was flowing through it. However, a few days ago, suddenly and unexpectedly, energy began to flow through it. Almost simultaneously with the energy flowing through the nasal bone, I felt a shining energy in the crown chakra, the Sahasrara. This "shining" is a sensory experience, not a visual one, but it feels as if it is glowing. In other words, it can be described as the strength of the energy, and I feel that a strong energy is flowing through the nasal bone and the area between the eyebrows, reaching the crown chakra, the Sahasrara.
It is still not completely open, and the other day, I woke up and it was closed. However, generally, meditating for about an hour unexpectedly opens this part, and the Sahasrara chakra synchronizes and activates.
Even if this part is not fully open, it is not necessarily a problem. However, there is an energetic difference between when it is open and when it is not. Once you experience the activation energy that comes from it being open, you feel that it is a little lacking when it is not open, and you feel the energetic difference. Therefore, I want to maintain the state where it is open as much as possible. However, it usually opens with a high probability within about an hour of meditation, so once it is open, even if it closes, it may be easier to open again. Although it may be difficult to open at first, it gradually becomes easier to open, and eventually, there is a feeling that it will stay open without even realizing it.
When I am conscious of this part, I often remember Paramahansa Yogananda's autobiography. In that book, Yogananda's guru, Sri Yukteswar, explains this part, and there is an explanation that "The true meaning of 'Nasal Pillar' (nose's tip) is not the tip of the nose, but the area above the nose. In other words, it refers to the location of the Ajna chakra (third eye) (P189)." This corresponds to the area above the nasal bone, which is similar to the area where energy has recently started to flow.
Also, in Dr. Honsan's writings, there are explanations of the Ajna chakra (third eye chakra) awakening at the levels of prana, astral, causal, and Purusha. When I compare my state to these descriptions, it seems to correspond to the transition from the astral to the causal level. However, that is still an intermediate stage, and there is no chakra at the Purusha level, so it is not necessary to reach that level (there is something beyond Purusha, a stage beyond the individual). However, first, you must awaken the chakra in order to reach a level where the chakra does not exist. Therefore, it seems necessary to overcome this stage first.
According to Dr. Honsan's writings, at the causal level, light emanates from the area between the eyebrows. When I read that a long time ago, I mistakenly imagined that the light would emanate in the forward direction. However, the direction is not written, so the light emanating upwards towards the Sahasrara chakra may also correspond to this. If that is the case, the recent light emanating from the nasal bone or between the eyebrows may correspond to the causal level. This is just one possibility.
For several days after opening, it felt like I had to close it in the morning and it took about an hour of meditation to properly open it. However, after that, it started to open relatively well with just about 10 minutes, and I felt that the degree of opening was gradually and surely changing during meditation. Initially, it was only moving up and down from the area near the root of the nose, but I'm starting to feel it spreading to the left and right.
...After the front of the face opens, it becomes a little stiff again by the next morning, so I start again from the root of the nose, then the forehead, and finally the top of the head to loosen it. After repeating this cycle several times, the front of the face becomes relatively loose, so naturally, the meditation shifts to loosening the area slightly inside the front of the face. Starting from the lower part near the nose, I gradually twist the aura with each breath. As I repeatedly insert the aura from the edges, the looseness progresses, and that area becomes fluffy. In this way, I loosen the area deep within the forehead, and then also loosen the area slightly inside the top of the head. The upper part of the nose is loosening fairly well, but the area near the top of the head is still stiff, and there is still some stiffness remaining in the lower part of the nose. Although there are still challenges, compared to before starting meditation, I feel that each area has become looser. Then, I gradually deepen the loosening. In one of Professor Honzan's writings, it was written, "It's like peeling a radish skin," which I think means gradually activating it from the outside of the head.
