When you fully open the Sahasrara chakra, energy flows in from the sun.

When the Sahasrara chakra is not fully open, it can be difficult to perceive it, or it may simply feel pleasant. However, through meditation and other practices that draw energy to the Sahasrara, and even when the aura extends slightly above the Sahasrara, it seems possible to draw energy from sunlight through the Sahasrara.

This knowledge is often discussed in spiritual and yoga circles, where the sun is considered a source of blessings and energy. It is also said that the Sushumna, a major energy channel that runs along the spine, extends upwards to the heavens, allowing energy to flow. While these concepts are commonly mentioned, I have not personally experienced them to this extent until recently.

The degree of perception seems to be proportional to the openness of the Sahasrara. Recently, I have been experiencing a relatively open state more frequently in my daily life. Previously, it would take an hour or two of meditation for the aura around the Sahasrara to become dominant and for me to reach a state of stillness. Now, I can often reach that state in just 5 or 10 seconds, and at the latest, within 10 or 15 minutes. If I continue meditating, the stillness deepens by another level or two, reaching a deeper state of tranquility. At that point, the Sahasrara seems to extend further upwards, perhaps by the length of a hand. I believe that if the aura gathers and activates around the crown chakra (Sahasrara), it is possible to draw energy from sunlight. Extending the Sahasrara further upwards would allow for even more energy to be drawn. However, the ability to draw energy seems to depend on whether the Sahasrara is open.

When the Sahasrara is open, physical sunlight, especially when directed towards the head, allows energy to flow directly in. It seems that the direction of the physical or astral aura's opening is also important. In my case, since sunlight enters through the window, I find that bending slightly forward and directing the crown of my head towards the sun allows for a significant influx of energy. Even without directing my head, some energy enters, but when I direct the crown of my head towards the sun, the energy flows in much more strongly.

Normally, when looking at the sunrise, the line of sight is directed towards the sun. Even then, the sun is visually beautiful, and some energy enters through the Sahasrara at that angle. However, when I bend slightly forward, the ground becomes visible, and the sun is no longer in the line of sight. In exchange, energy flows continuously into the Sahasrara.

Even when I'm alone, that's fine, but if I do that outside, I might be seen as a strange person, so I think it's enough to just normally look at the morning sun. Even so, I still get enough energy, so it's just a matter of spending a longer time doing it. Looking down makes your neck tired and your posture bad, so I don't think it's necessary to deliberately face the top of your head towards the sun, but I think there are differences depending on the direction.
