When I directly expose myself to sunlight, I can feel the energy of the sun entering my body directly through the Sahasrara chakra at the crown of my head.
As I meditate, the aura around the Sahasrara chakra fills up, and it feels like a "GeGeGe" antenna is extending from the top of my head. When I'm in good condition, it's not just a single point like the "GeGeGe" antenna, but rather a whole area on the top of my head that emits a light, static-like aura upwards. When I'm in that state, and I directly expose myself to sunlight, I feel the energy entering my body directly from the Sahasrara chakra.
This is something that is often talked about in spiritual circles, but even without that, it's natural that the sun feels warm and pleasant. Until now, my understanding of the sun has been limited to general knowledge or occasional mentions of sun worship in spiritual contexts, and I haven't felt anything particularly special about it in that sense.
However, this is something that I can clearly feel. It's beyond just knowledge, common sense, or the general idea that sunlight and warmth feel good. I can literally feel energy entering my body from the crown of my head.
As I mentioned briefly before, instead of looking directly at the sun, tilting my head slightly and looking downwards, and then turning my face towards the sun, I feel energy being drawn in strongly. (However, I only do this in places where no one is watching, like inside a room, because it might look strange.)
It seems that I absorb more energy in the morning than at night, and more energy in the early morning than in the middle of the day. When clouds cover the sun and the light weakens, the amount of energy I absorb also weakens accordingly. This means that I am literally absorbing sunlight through the Sahasrara chakra at the crown of my head.
In the morning, even though it's winter and I don't open the windows for long because it's cold, I seem to absorb a certain amount of energy even through the glass. So, I open the window a little, absorb energy through the crown of my head, and then go about my day normally in the room. Even with reflected light, I feel like I'm absorbing some energy. With reflected light, the direction doesn't seem to matter much. The same is true on cloudy days; when the sun is hidden by clouds, the direction doesn't seem to matter much.
When I go out during the day, the sunlight provides a lot of energy, although it's not as much as in the morning. Even though the energy is stronger in the morning, I can still replenish my energy sufficiently during the day by being exposed to the sunlight for a longer period of time.
It's the blessing of the sun.
Surprisingly, one of the benefits of opening the Sahasrara chakra is that it allows for this kind of experience.
Of course, there are also benefits such as feeling lighter, more peaceful, filled with love, and content. Those benefits are already wonderful, but the added benefit of feeling the sun's energy directly filling your body is quite surprising.
If people in the past were in this state, it would be natural to understand why they worshipped the sun and had sun worship.
