These differences are not well understood by the general public, and they are often confused and misinterpreted. The conflict between good and evil is a story of light workers defeating the dark side, while the integration of good and evil is the integration of light and darkness.
These concepts are easier to understand when viewed through a hierarchical lens.
・Low dimension: Conflict between good and evil, conflict between light and darkness, conflict between light workers and the dark side, maintaining is considered good, destruction is considered evil.
・High dimension: Unity of good and evil, integration of light and darkness, resolution of the conflict between light workers and the dark side, creation, maintenance, and destruction are considered equivalent cycles.
Sometimes, (based on a low-dimensional interpretation), it is misinterpreted as "the integration of light and darkness is achieved by light workers defeating the dark side." However, this is a common misunderstanding. I understand the feeling that leads to such an interpretation, and stories often depict the conflict between light and darkness. However, we tend to think about things in terms of "light winning." But that is impossible. This is because, in this context, "light" is the mind, and "darkness" is matter. (This worldview is not necessarily universal.) In this perspective, just as matter does not disappear, the mind does not disappear either. Therefore, it is impossible for light to win. Similarly, it is also impossible for darkness to win. Only integration is possible.
In fact, the state is originally integrated, but people misunderstand it as a conflict due to ignorance. It is a problem of human perception.
Therefore, when perception is distorted and there is ignorance, the low-dimensional interpretation of the conflict between good and evil, and the conflict between light and darkness exists, and therefore, the conflict between the dark side and the light side exists. Light workers value the mind and also emphasize "continuity" and "maintenance."
On the other hand, the dark side may not even exist. What is generally called the dark side is, in fact, anything other than one's own light side. Therefore, as mentioned above, the distortion of perception leads to the perception that "continuity is good," "the mind is good," "destruction is evil," and "material things are evil." This perception of the light side creates the form of what is called the dark side.
Therefore, there are situations where people who call themselves lightworkers call each other "dark side."
Generally, lightside emphasizes "maintenance" and "spirit." On the other hand, others emphasize the "true" state of things, and therefore, the basic principle is to feel "balance." The "true" state of things means understanding that the apparent reality of the world is moving in all aspects of creation, destruction, and maintenance.
On the other hand, there is something "unchangeable" at the root of all of that (creation, destruction, and maintenance). In that sense, that "unchangeable" thing can also be said to be "true maintenance," which is correct in that context, but the interpretation of "maintenance" is different among people. What should be a single interpretation is being interpreted conveniently by people.
・Apparent world (things that change) → "Maintenance" in this layer is an apparent thing → (Some) lightworkers emphasize this.
・True world (unchangeable things) → This is the true "maintenance" → Because it is at the root of the "creation, destruction, and maintenance" of the apparent world, it works freely and naturally, not bound by the movements of the apparent world.
It is important to recognize that these two worlds exist. In Indian Vedanta, this is discussed, and Brahman, as the unchangeable thing, exists as the "whole" at the root, and it is a full existence that is not destroyed and is an eternal existence. That is also the essence of "me." Therefore, the essence is absolutely not destroyed.
However, in this apparent world, the reality on this earth, there are destruction and creation, and apparent maintenance is not eternal and eventually goes through a cycle of destruction and creation. That is the "true" state of things.
By the way, some people who call themselves lightworkers have a strange interpretation, and they claim that "maintaining" that "apparent maintenance" is "good" (a strange claim). For these people, it is difficult to accept an integrated worldview, and they give vague and unsatisfactory explanations such as, "Because the integrated world (layer) includes all of creation, maintenance, and destruction, destruction also occurs. In order to prevent destruction, we should do this and that..." and make strange interpretations. In the end, if you trace it back, it is a simple story of human "attachment," but some organizations claim that they are doing "maintenance" as lightwork to save the world, as if the world is structured that way and they have no choice.
However, for those who are not "lightworkers," it is simply one cycle of creation, maintenance, and destruction. Maintenance eventually leads to destruction, and then a new cycle of creation follows. However, people who call themselves "lightworkers" cling to this fleeting "maintenance."
And they see "destruction" as "evil" and feel sad.
This seems like a human emotion, and it suggests that they are trapped in an illusionary world. This is one aspect of the people who claim to be doing "lightwork" in this world. (Not all lightworkers are like this.)
While some people do "lightwork" based on the value system of good versus evil, believing that "maintenance is good," there are also groups that aim to integrate good and evil. These are also called "lightworkers," but they are different people.
These are very different ideologies, even though they may seem similar.
However, in many cases, the person is not even aware of this difference. Therefore, even if you ask them, there may not be a clear answer, and they tend to interpret it as "both are correct" or "the same idea" using spiritual knowledge. However, in reality, this difference is very large.
- Ideology based on opposing forces: The battle between light and darkness, peace through the victory of light, the end of conflict when darkness disappears, the fight for maintenance, seeing anything that destroys as evil.
- Ideology based on integration: Stop the conflict, achieve peace.
Because people are often unaware of this difference, there are many people in the spiritual world who are a mixture of these two, such as "fighting the battle between light and darkness while preaching integration." They tend to incorporate anything that seems relevant into their own ideas. However, in reality, these are different levels. If they preach integration, they should not be fighting, yet there are people who say they are aiming for integration while fighting the dark side to achieve the victory of light. This is logically inconsistent, but they are not aware of it.
It is important to determine which ideology is being used when someone calls themselves a "lightworker."
- Good versus evil: Low dimension
- Seeing maintenance as good: Low dimension
- Seeing destruction as evil: Low dimension
- Integration of good and evil: High dimension
- Integration of light and darkness: High dimension
- Seeing creation, maintenance, and destruction as equivalent cycles: High dimension
Whether they aim to defeat the dark side and have light triumph, or whether they consider maintaining the status quo as good and are acting accordingly, or whether they aim for the integration of good and evil, the integration of light and darkness – based on these aspects, one can judge the position of an organization or individual.
In reality, those who aim for integration can also be called lightworkers, but this does not necessarily indicate that they are on the light side. Since both light and darkness are integrated, the word "light" is not suitable for that stage. When we say "light," it only means that we are leaning towards one side of light and darkness. However, when we talk about "integration," it includes both light and darkness.
Due to historical circumstances, such integration is sometimes called "lightwork," which can cause confusion in the terminology. However, originally, integration is not suitable to be called "lightwork." Nevertheless, since there is a history, it seems that using the term "lightwork" is not so problematic. Therefore, "lightwork" has two meanings:
- Activities on the side of light based on the value of "the battle between light and darkness" in a lower dimension.
- Integration of light and darkness in a higher dimension.
In reality, as one goes to a higher dimension, even entities that were considered "darkness" become integrated, and both light and darkness disappear. Therefore, in a higher dimension, there is no mixing of lightworkers and the dark side, or rather, they are in harmony. And only in a lower dimension does conflict exist. It exists in both a lower and a higher dimension, but in a lower dimension, it takes the form of conflict, and in a higher dimension, it takes the form of harmony.
Therefore, when we talk about "lightworkers," it is important to check which level they are using as a basis for their actions. However, many people are often unaware of this, so it is not about whether the person "agrees" with opinions or questions, nor is it about "the person's words" (which are often quotes from spiritual books), but rather about "the person's actions" and "their true principles and way of thinking" that reveal which level they are rooted in. Indeed, there are people who are in a transitional period between 0 and 100, and are somewhere in between. However, basically, they tend to be stable on one side or the other. Even if they talk about integration, they may not truly understand the meaning of those words. Even if they talk a lot about integration, they may be engaging in actions that fight against the dark side, in which case, their "explanation of integration" may simply be a way to persuade people, or a way to hide their true feelings, or they may not understand it very well. It takes life experience to see through these things. No matter how much you say it with words, your true intentions are revealed in your actions. Moreover, not only others but also the person themselves are often unaware of their own principles, so each individual must become aware of themselves. If they are unaware, they may inadvertently be drawn into the conflict axis of "the battle between light and darkness."
And before engaging in actions called "light work," it is important to determine what one seeks, one's role, and what one should do. The most important thing is the mission and role that was decided before birth. However, people learn while they are alive. And sometimes, one may realize that the role at birth was actually based on incorrect values. Therefore, the role at birth is merely a mission and role based on understanding at that time, and it is originally something that should be modified as one learns. Even if one was born with the purpose of the conflict between light and darkness, and for the victory of light, if one realizes and understands that integration is the true path, humans have the freedom to change their way of life. That is the human free will, which is respected and not hindered, and its choices and actions are accepted by the universe.
By doing so, it seems that we can put an end to the worldview of "the battle between light and darkness" that dominates this world, and make the world move towards integration.
