For example, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah or the Noah's Flood are relatively mild examples; God's true reset is literally when time stops in the world, it freezes, and time ceases to advance.

This state can be understood as follows: This world is made up of God's "consciousness." That consciousness is what moves time. And when God loses interest, it means that it is no longer being consciously observed. When it is no longer consciously observed, the timeline ceases to advance in time, meaning it is frozen.

There have been experiments in physics that suggest that "things only exist when they are being observed," which is a concept in quantum mechanics. While it is not the same experiment, there are similar aspects in terms of concept. When God stops being conscious, the timeline ceases to advance in time, and literally, time stops, and the timeline is discarded.

And when God thinks, "Hmm, this is no good... maybe the other option is better...", it returns to that point, and the timeline branches.

This basic structure is not much different from that of humans. Humans also think, "Is this better, or is that better?" and make choices. In God's case, this is being done for the entire space. In this way, the entire timeline is seen by God, and worlds that are beyond saving are discarded.

This discarding is done more transparently than, for example, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah or the Noah's Flood. The destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah is a partial redo, but God's true redo affects the entire timeline.
