The true Kundalini that sleeps in Muladhara.

Recently, I have often felt a strong energy sleeping within the Muladhara chakra, and I wonder if that is what it truly is, the genuine Kundalini. Previously, I had experienced temporary ascents of light, but now I realize that was only a slight activation of Shakti (energy), which was still energizing and activating the entire body. However, the energy I am feeling in the Muladhara chakra, which I suspect is Kundalini, seems to be many times stronger.

If this is Kundalini, it seems logical that various conditions must be met, such as purifying the body and preparing the energy channels, before Kundalini awakens. I am only at the stage of feeling this, but even a slight touch of that energy allows me to feel its greatness and power.

I have heard that there are often misunderstandings where temporary activations of Shakti are mistaken for Kundalini awakening, and I feel that this is true.

Even if it is a temporary ascent, if the preparation is not complete, one may suffer from that energy.

In reality, it seems that Shakti can sometimes rise even without any practice, and sometimes it can happen even with just a little bit of practice. In my case, I haven't done much that resembles practice, just yoga (including breathing techniques) and meditation, but even so, the initial activation of Shakti occurred relatively early.

However, a genuine Kundalini awakening is somewhat different, and it seems that there is a risk of instability or mental instability if one does not understand certain things beforehand. I believe that the symptoms commonly referred to as "Kundalini syndrome" are likely related to this. If Shakti is released prematurely and incompletely, and if the maintenance is not done properly, one may suffer.

Now, I understand these things to some extent, but when I think about it, there are very few people who can understand and guide others in these areas.
