I saw Baba's face in the meditation hall.

I remembered that a few years ago, while meditating with my eyes closed in the meditation hall of an ashram in Rishikesh, India, I saw the face of Babaji floating in the air.

At that time, I seemed to have seen not only Babaji's face, but also the ceiling and altar of the large meditation hall. The actual hall is very dark during meditation, so it is almost impossible to see anything, but was I seeing it with my mind's eye, or was it an imagination?

Later, a distinguished old man with a magnificent beard, who seemed to be the manager of the ashram, said, "It is probably just an imagination, but you saw Babaji." I could not confirm the exact date of the incident, but the fact that he saw Babaji's figure in the same ashram as me suggests that he may have actually been there.

I had forgotten about this incident for a while. I thought it might have been just an imagination or something.

I only saw Babaji's face, and it was floating in the upper part of the hall, looking down at the lower part of the hall.

Babaji's face is famous for looking upwards, but when I saw it, it was looking downwards.

At that time, I thought, "Could this be Babaji? It doesn't seem to be looking at me... It seems to be looking down at the altar from a moment ago... But if the angle is like that, it should be within my field of vision..."

My eyes were closed, so I felt that it was floating in the air through intuition during meditation.

I didn't say anything because I thought it might have been just an imagination, but now I think there is a slight possibility that it was real. There is no way to confirm whether it was real or not.

Even if it was an imagination, it would be an honor to have actually seen the figure of the great Babaji.

The intuition or the voice from the depths of my heart says, "No, it was real."

This happened from the end of 2018 to the New Year of 2019.

Babaji is a name used for many people, but in this case, it refers to the Babaji of the Kriya Yoga lineage who appears in "Autobiography of a Yogi" by Yogananda.
