There are many beings called "gods" who are considered deities, and there are various types, such as Japanese gods and gods of nature. However, I personally think that beings as sublime as "gods" are probably only angels.
Most gods are human-like, and especially Japanese gods are often rough and have strong convictions. In particular, many people who have reincarnated from the Japanese pantheon live in Japan, so the atmosphere is like a world reminiscent of old Japan.
There are beings from history who have become gods and live in the Japanese pantheon, and sometimes the individuals themselves are there. While many of them are virtuous, the more famous gods tend to be quite rough.
Even in foreign religions, the gods are human-like. They are more like a refreshing young person or a skilled craftsman, rather than the kind of god that ordinary people imagine. This is not much different from the world we live in.
While gods are not that different from humans, it seems that those who are not virtuous are not called "gods," so there is a certain standard to be called a "god." However, there is no one who sets that standard, so some people are called "gods" while others are not. Nevertheless, they are human-like.
On the other hand, angels are free from human-like qualities. Although they still have a personality, if we were to compare them to people in the human world, they are like people who have had a good upbringing, have never experienced hardship, and live a life free from sarcasm and complaints.
Angels generally do not interact much with the human world and mainly observe it out of curiosity.
However, some angels are involved in the fate of countries. For example, Michael reincarnated a part of his spirit as Joan of Arc to change the fate of a country. However, most angels seem to just watch.
Therefore, even though angels are not completely free from human-like qualities, among the beings called "gods" or similar terms, angels are probably the closest to being pure deities.
By the way, Michael is quite impulsive and tends to try to change things quickly. For example, Joan of Arc was short-tempered, and Oda Nobunaga, who also had a part of Michael's spirit, seemed to be quick-tempered. Other angels are not as hasty.
Even though they may be impulsive and have human-like qualities, when you look at their basic purity, I personally think that angels are the ones who deserve to be called "gods."
