For ten years, I had been interested in "Andersen," and I finally managed to visit.
I heard that it was difficult to get through on the phone, so the basic approach was to call after 5:00 PM when the magic show ends, and since there would be cleanup, I called a little earlier, around 7:00 PM. As rumored, the first call was during a conversation. I thought maybe it wasn't meant to be, but a few minutes later, when I called for the second time, I thought, "This is the last time I'll call. If I can't get through this time, it's just not meant to be," and it connected.
It seems I was meant to go.
However, the day I originally wanted to make a reservation was already fully booked, and there was availability next month, but I couldn't make plans for next month, so I was about to give up. Then, the master seemed to be slightly surprised, and asked, "Where are you from? How many people are there?" I replied, "I'm from ○○ (a distant place). Just one person," and I was able to make a reservation.
The master seems to be able to tell, based on the phone call, whether or not the person calling is someone who should be there. I wonder if that's why he made the reservation, even though I was about to give up... what do you think?
Originally, I had booked a package tour with a flight, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a state of emergency was declared, so I was able to cancel without a cancellation fee. I then rebooked a different route on my own.
At that time, I did it based on a vague feeling, but it was probably the right decision. Around that time, there was heavy rain in northern Kyushu, and transportation was disrupted in various ways. If I had followed the original plan, my travel would have been even more difficult. Even so, it was difficult, but I think it was better to change the plan.
Although the JR lines were disrupted due to heavy rain, and roads were closed, it was basically not raining in the city where I was staying. I'm truly a "sunshine man." This time, I wanted to enjoy a ferry ride, so I took the newly launched Tokyo-Kyushu Ferry to Moji Port in northern Kyushu. The ferry was comfortable, and there was no impact from the heavy rain. When I arrived in Moji, it was raining a little, but the rain had stopped by the morning of the next day, so it seemed like the rain was avoiding me.
The next day, I was supposed to take the JR train via Hakata to the nearest Kawatani Station, but the section of the JR line beyond Saga Station was out of service for the Sasebo and Nagasaki areas. The train I had reserved was canceled, so I took another train to Saga Station, but in reality, it wasn't raining much around Saga, and I was really experiencing "sunshine man" mode, but the train was still stopped, so there was nothing I could do. So, I decided to rent a car from Saga Station and head to Kawatani Station.
To explain in more detail, I was originally supposed to take a train reserved from Kokura, but it seemed like I could take the train one hour earlier, so I changed my ticket and boarded it. That train was headed to Saga, but I got off at Hakata Station. At Hakata Station, I found out that the train I was supposed to take was canceled, so I decided to go to Saga first. The train I had taken was stopping for 6 minutes on the same platform, so I boarded the same train again in the unreserved seating section. This timing worked out perfectly, and I arrived at Saga Station a little past 9:00 AM. I rented a car and drove to Kawatanobe Station, and it was just the right time. If I had taken a later train, I might have arrived past 12:00 PM, so it was a good decision to move earlier.
On this day, someone else who was traveling by JR was also very late due to a service disruption. Perhaps I could have waited like them and eventually made it, but I thought that my being late might have caused the magic show to start a little later. Also, I don't like making people wait, and I tend to make decisions quickly, so I immediately chose to rent a car and drive. The expressway was closed, so I took the local roads, but I managed to arrive a little past 11:00 AM. It seems that rental cars are cheaper due to the COVID-19 pandemic. A regular car that usually costs around 15,000 yen was available for about 5,000 yen (plus insurance), which was a good deal.
I was told to arrive by a little past 11:00 AM, and people who were coming from far away could wait until around 12:00 PM. So, I arrived a little late for the opening time, but I arrived without being too late.
However, some people arrived after 1:00 PM. While I think it's understandable due to the heavy rain, some people had to leave early because they couldn't wait any longer, and being late causes inconvenience to others, so it's better not to be late.
I also called the rental car company for about 30 minutes because I was past the return time, and they waited for me. I managed to return the car just in time, but it was a tough day. From the parking lot in front of Kawatanobe Station to the rental car company in Saga Station, I drove almost non-stop for 2 hours in the rain, stopping nowhere except for refueling. It was quite tiring. Also, the closing time was changed from 8:00 PM to 7:00 PM due to the state of emergency, which made the return time even stricter.

In a long-established coffee shop, there are retro game consoles on the tables.

■Basic Information
Store Name: Anderusen
Reservation Phone: 0956-82-2375. It is a reservation-only system.
Location: JR Kawane Station, Nagasaki Prefecture.
It seems that reservations are accepted every day from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, but since the owner and his wife are busy during magic show times, it is best to avoid those times. If you want to avoid the busy morning hours, and also aim for a time after the show ends in the evening, it makes sense that it is difficult to get through.
Other blogs only mention that reservations start two months in advance. I thought it was the same day two months in advance, but it seems that every month on the 1st, all reservations for the entire month two months later can be made. Therefore, the reservation phone lines are very busy every month on the 1st. Some blogs say that reservations can only be made on the 1st of every month, but that is incorrect. That is the reservation start date, and it seems that reservations can be made up to the day before (if there are available slots). However, reservations for two months in advance are quickly filled, so it is practically better to make reservations on the 1st of every month. Some people have tried to get a counter seat about 100 times. Recently, there are apps with automatic redialing, so it may not be as difficult as it used to be, but it still takes time to wait for the connection, and if other people are also using the app, the competition rate may not be that different.
Personally, I feel that relying on intuition rather than apps is more in line with the spirit of this cafe. However, if I am aiming for a counter seat, I might use an app next time. It will be difficult to get through on the 1st of every month.
■Parking

I parked here. The area in front of the station is one-way, and I couldn't enter from the traffic light right in front of the parking lot, so I took a detour like the red arrow. I think it's probably possible to enter from the station front rotary like the green arrow.
■ Schedule for that day
11:00 Opening
2:00 Venue preparation
2:00+ Show starts
Normally, the show lasts about 2.5 hours.
On this day, it seems like something made it exciting, and they performed for almost 3.5 hours, ending around 5:30. There might have been a delay due to the heavy rain. Perhaps the master gets excited depending on everyone's mood? I had also read blogs about that, so I felt like, "Well, it'll be whatever time it is." So, if you plan your schedule thinking it will end at 5:00, you might get a little stressed like I did, but it was okay in the end, so it wasn't a problem.
In this case, the person who came in last had already placed their order by phone, arrived around 1:30, ate quickly, and then paid and prepared the venue, so the start was around 2:10. It seems like that was quite a late start, according to other blogs as well.
Even so, the show itself was extended, and it lasted for more than 3 hours that day, and it felt like it went by in an instant because I was constantly amazed.
It's not just "impossible magic"... it's more like, as rumored, it's a superpower.
Actually, since I entered this store, my lower abdomen, the area around the "dan tien," which is the "Manipura chakra" in chakra terms, has been constantly tingling, and I felt like my stomach was being twisted and squeezed.
This often happens when someone with considerable ability is nearby, and since it happened as soon as I entered the store, I thought, "This master must be quite capable." And indeed, he was amazing. I also felt the same twisting sensation in my stomach when I was near a famous Indian Swami, but not many people in India have that strong of a twisting sensation.
It is said that material abilities use the Manipura chakra, but I also feel that people with realistic abilities tend to have a strong Manipura chakra. That's just a feeling.
The next one is the "Swadhisthana chakra," which is the chakra of the unconscious, so it cannot be consciously controlled, but the "Manipura" chakra can be consciously controlled, right?
Even so, I don't think you can achieve abilities like that just by having a strong Manipura chakra; it seems that you can move the Manipura chakra strongly because energy flows all the way to the "Sahasrara."
Due to the COVID-19 situation, the number of attendees has been reduced. Normally, there are about 30 viewers, but now it has been reduced to 20, and this time there were 19 people, so perhaps one person couldn't come due to the heavy rain. However, with this number, I was able to see and hear everything very clearly.
The world is facing difficulties due to COVID-19, but having an empty space is a lucky opportunity. It's a stroke of luck in a difficult situation.
I watched from the back, but there was enough space to move around a little, so it wasn't a problem.
From what I could see, this master's abilities seem to be the following:
- Materialization ability (and its counterpart, dematerialization ability, teleportation)
- Ability to read other people's minds
- Remote viewing (ability to see beyond space and time)
It seemed that he used these abilities selectively.
When reading the contents of the cards, it is possible to use remote viewing, but it probably seems easier and more efficient to read the minds of the audience, so he probably used that more often. When reading the written characters, he used remote viewing, and when reading the names written by the audience, he seemed to confirm the pronunciation by saying, "What is this read as? Is it this?" which was remote viewing.
And one thing I noticed when reading the cards was that the reading person, the audience member, was a little far away, and when they misread the suit of the card, that mistake was transmitted directly to the master. Specifically, I think it was a clover, but the audience member thought it was a spade. I have pretty good eyesight, so I knew it was a clover, but it's true that you might sometimes mistake it for a spade. If the audience member thought it was a spade, the master would read that and say, "Your card is this," and the audience member who was indicated would say, "Correct," even though it was actually a clover. Of course, it's possible that I was the one who misread it.
I think that he can probably use remote viewing for verification, but it seems to be used selectively. It would be too much to do both, and the magic show progresses at a fairly good pace, so he probably uses mind reading when it's sufficient. The fact that there was a mistake between a spade and a clover has made my assumptions quite certain.
When reading minds, in the case of ordinary ability users, a large number of people's thoughts rush in at once, causing confusion. However, with this master, they use a lottery to specify the person whose thoughts are read using cards, so it seems they can explicitly and consciously read the thoughts of someone. This means they are quite an ability user.
Similarly, ordinary ability users often merge their own rough aura with that of others to read their minds through aura fusion. However, in that case, their own consciousness is transmitted to the person they are fused with, and the fused person experiences a sense of unease or intuition. However, it seems that the master can read minds without the other person noticing, which suggests that they are reading at a much more subtle level. It's as if they can hear the thoughts of others like a directional antenna.
Alternatively, this is just a hypothesis, but it's possible that the key is to provide and have the audience eat a dish. In that case, the master's aura is absorbed into the audience's bodies through the dish, and while that aura remains, the master may be able to read the thoughts of others more easily.
There are many people in the world who perform amazing magic, and if they are performing the same kind of magic, there may be others who can do it. However, as mentioned above, there are many aspects that suggest that this person is a real ability user.
According to my intuition, this master is a real ability user. However, as someone living in this world, it's probably a good idea to keep the option open that it might just be magic. While the feeling of manipulation and the content of the magic suggest that this master is genuine, in the past, many prominent people have been repeatedly deceived by "fake ability users," so it's probably a good idea to consider that possibility as well. Even if it's just magic, it certainly expands the possibilities of what humans can do, and that can lead to human growth beyond limitations.
Above all, it's very affordable. It's rare to be able to watch a show for hours with just the cost of one meal.
We only provide the cost of the meal, and travel expenses are of course separate, but that's not related to the show.
I have absolutely no ill intentions, and I think the master is a person with abilities. However, even if it's just a magic trick, I think it's worth seeing.
During the performance, he performed a nonsensical magic trick where he wrote down the numbers on the bills, put them in a bag with a raw egg, and then moved the bills inside the raw egg. Of course, the numbers should match, but from the master's perspective, it was probably so obvious that the step of checking the numbers was very casual. He showed it briefly to the people at the table and then quickly put it away, which was charming. Well, it seems that it's obvious that the numbers match, so there's no need to look at it closely. In the case of ordinary magicians, they deliberately take time to confirm the numbers to make it believable and to build excitement. However, I think that in the case of this master, he confirms it in a way, but since he is actually using real abilities, he doesn't need to use such superficial techniques.
The magic trick where he solves a Rubik's Cube in an instant, literally in 1 second, is truly nonsensical.
It's not a matter of hiding and replacing it. The Rubik's Cube he was holding in his hand, facing towards me in front of his chest, disappeared into space, and a completed Rubik's Cube appeared from that space immediately after, and he grabbed it with his hand. Even if it's a magic trick where he hides it behind him and quickly replaces it, it would mean that his hand movements are incomprehensibly fast. However, more than that, to my eyes, the Rubik's Cube disappeared into space. And then, the Rubik's Cube appeared again from space, a little bit below and slightly away from his hand. It's nonsensical.
There was also a magic trick where he seemed to pull cards out of the air. However, since it's a card, there are many ways to hide it. However, even in that case, to my eyes, the cards appeared from space in a semi-transparent state for a moment.
He probably has the ability to materialize things, like Sai Baba.
In other magic tricks, the bills are in front of you, and they seem to be blurry. What is it...? Just then, they suddenly become normal bills. Perhaps they appear blurry when they are in a semi-materialized state. A 1000 yen bill changes into a 10000 yen bill right in front of you, or bills with multiple faces appear. Some of them are prepared magic tricks, and some of them might be abilities. Perhaps he prepares bills with funny faces printed on them in advance, semi-materializes them, and then materializes them.
The magic trick of throwing cards and making them disappear into a frame looked like teleportation, but it seems like it's a normal magic trick. However, based on seeing other magic tricks, it seems like it would be less troublesome for a master to simply use their abilities.

Finally, after it ended, I bought souvenirs. There was a rumor that if you bought an ESP card (2,000 yen), someone would touch your head, but that wasn't happening anymore due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, I was told that they would do something even better (especially for me?), and I extended my right arm, and from a distance, something seemed to touch it with an invisible hand, and energy was transferred to my shoulder. I'm not sure what it was, but it was amazing.
At first, I was told to extend my arm, so I extended my right arm. However, the master overlapped his forearm and said, "Do you feel the energy?" I thought, "Energy? It's just touching my arm. Also, the skin is so soft... His entire forearm is overlapping and touching, and he seems to be moving it slightly towards my upper arm... I can see that his arm is moving towards my shoulder, but it feels more like his arm is touching me than energy." Then, I suddenly looked down, and I saw that my arm wasn't touching at all; it was about 15cm away. I had a feeling of being touched even though I wasn't being touched. It was a bit confusing and my head was in a mess, so I couldn't speak, and I just said, "Eh?" While I was confused like that, the master removed his arm, and that was the end of it. It felt like his forearm was overlapping and touching, and moving towards my upper arm, but it seemed like it wasn't actually touching at all. I was told that they weren't doing performances that involved touching due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so they weren't doing that this time either. However, I definitely thought, "That's a very soft and strange skin on his arm," but it turned out to be his energy-based arm. Probably, only his energy body was moving and touching my arm. Wow, it was surprising.
By the way, I remember him saying that the master can do kendo or something, and he can even blow up trees with just his spirit. He didn't do that during the magic show because it's dangerous, but he could easily do a show where he makes paper fly. So, he's probably skilled at manipulating energy-related things.
All the shows were amazing, but the first one, when everyone wasn't very focused, the master made a joke and bent his fingers like an ET alien. At that moment, it was sudden, so everyone froze and was silent, wondering what had happened. But if my eyes weren't mistaken, his fingers seemed to extend and become like a real ET. ...No, maybe I was mistaken. Maybe he had something on his fingertips... No, even if he did, his fingertips wouldn't get smaller. Maybe he had an ET finger toy attached to his fingertips while bending his fingers... There's a possibility of that. The master's hand was always extended, and there wasn't a moment when he hid it under the table. After bending his hand like an ET and making it thin and long, he brought it back towards his body slightly, and at that moment, his hand returned to normal instantly. I was so surprised by his hand that I couldn't speak, so I was staring at it, and his hand changed so quickly that I thought, "Was that ET-like hand an illusion?"
The thickness of the fingers... I stared intently, and it seemed like, about 5 seconds later, they had become a little smaller? Could this be an illusion? At least, when he first had the ET hands, the fingers were quite thin and long, but now they seem normal and rather small.
Can the master freely change the shape of his body?
There's a possibility that he quickly pulled out a prop with the other hand immediately after having the ET hands. Next time, I'll pay attention to that point as well.
However, from what I saw, the master's hands seemed to change in length and thickness in three stages: first, the ET hands, then immediately, hands with slightly longer fingers, and about 5 seconds later, fingers that were a little shorter and thicker. While the props might be used with the ET hands, the transition between the ET hands and the slightly longer fingers, and then to the slightly shorter and thicker fingers, seems like an adjustment to return the fingers to their normal thickness, which wouldn't be part of the magic. What do you think? Could he freely change the shape of his body?
Later, he took out a cutter knife and seemed to cut his fingers in half, but there was no blood, and even after removing the cutter, the blade remained intact. There was no blood. It's not actually cut. While this might be possible with magic, it all makes sense if you think he's a person with abilities.
There's a rumor that he sometimes performs a magic trick where, when he's very enthusiastic, he passes his entire arm through a wall, or perhaps he shows off his superpowers. However, he didn't do that on this day. There's also a story that he once stuck his arm through a wall, passed his hand to the other side, and had the audience carefully examine the boundary. That's impossible with magic. However, I've seen similar magic tricks many times. No, it was a day that completely shattered my "limits of human abilities."
When you think that humans can do such amazing things, you feel the potential of humanity.
There's a rumor that he was once targeted by R country and there was a movement to "abduct him and make him work for R country," but it's said that the Self-Defense Forces protected him for several months. He's a person with superpowers that even R country recognizes, and I think he's probably still being protected by the Self-Defense Forces as an important person. What do you think?
I was able to see a show by one of the living legends and fulfill a wish I've had for ten years.
...After that, when I searched, there were many stories saying "This isn't a superpower, it's magic," but what do you think? It seemed real to me.
I myself assisted in a magic trick where I changed the number on a die inside a cup to my desired number. I was standing at the back on a high chair, and there was nothing above me except the ceiling. I changed the number inside the cup, but I knew exactly what number it was changed to. At least, it's certain that he can read minds.
There are quite a few people with the ability to read minds, and women, for example, unconsciously read minds quite often. However, the master was reading minds very accurately.
Remote viewing is more difficult than reading minds, and there are other people who can do it, so it's not that rare. However, the accuracy of the master's ability is high.
The most amazing thing is the ability to materialize objects. While similar things can be done in magic, I have been meditating for the past few years, and my dynamic vision has improved, so I can perceive things in a relatively slow-motion way. Even if it's a relatively fast movement, I can see through it. However, the object doesn't move in a certain direction; it fades away and disappears, and then it reappears from the space in a semi-transparent state before materializing. It might be that I'm just seeing afterimages because it's too fast, but if it's too fast, that's amazing in itself. Even if it's too fast to move, you would have to move your arms, but his arms weren't moving, they were still, and only the object disappeared and reappeared, so I think it's actually a materialization ability.
The magic trick where the drawing of a card box on a piece of paper materializes, and the drawing disappears from the paper, and then a card box materializes immediately below it, is amazing. It's incomprehensible. According to a blog, he has also materialized edible things (like hamburgers). While a card box could be hidden with paper or hands, it would have some weight, so the movement of the paper would change. I haven't seen it directly, but it's incomprehensible that a hamburger or something of a size that cannot be hidden by the original paper or hands appears. Even with the card box, it doesn't appear to have fallen from behind the paper, but rather it suddenly appears a little below the paper, and it starts to fall freely as if the law of universal gravitation started from that point. It seems that it suddenly appeared a little below the paper and started to fall freely, rather than being dropped from the paper or hand above it.
Well, the people who are saying it's a trick, it depends on how good their dynamic vision is. If someone with very good eyesight says "it's moving and being switched," then there's some credibility to it, but saying it's a magic trick just because there are similar magic tricks and props being sold seems too simplistic, doesn't it? If a sports player with good dynamic vision actually sees it with their own eyes and says "it's moving and being switched," then there's credibility to it, but I haven't seen any such opinions. Well, if you think it's a magic trick, then that's your truth, so you can do whatever you want. Some people seem to have been able to deny the master's ability just by saying "it can be done with magic," but that doesn't negate the master's ability just because it can be done with magic. It might be possible with magic, even if I can't think of it, but within the range I've seen, I thought it was real. There were several things that seemed impossible with magic, but it might be possible with magic, even if I can't think of it, but, well, whether it's possible with magic or not is originally unrelated to the master's ability.
With my dynamic vision, it looks like it becomes translucent for a moment and disappears, then reappears in an instant. When I say translucent, it's like this: just like in anime or movies, it converges towards the center in an instant and simultaneously becomes translucent and disappears, and when it appears, it appears instantly without any feeling of becoming translucent or expanding. That's why the feeling is different when it disappears and when it appears. When it disappears, it feels like it disappeared instantly as if it were converging, but when it appears, it appears instantly in its final form. This is probably because, visually, after it appears, it continues to exist there, so the afterimage is less noticeable. But even if it's hard to see, I feel like the process of becoming translucent and expanding from the center is somehow the same when it appears, but what do you think? However, now that I think about it, I think there were patterns where it disappeared with a translucent center and patterns where it disappeared instantly in place. The way it disappears and appears might be different depending on the speed of disappearance or the master's intention.
Even the technique of having the audience assemble a Rubik's Cube by saying it out loud without looking at it, and having the audience move the messed-up Rubik's Cube, and the master completing it without looking at the Rubik's Cube, is amazing. Even if it's a magic trick, it's an amazing technique. It's like a superpower, but it's probably just a very high level of brainpower. They can memorize a deck of cards in an instant, you know.
People with the ability to read minds are quite common and not rare, but the master accurately read minds, so their ability was high. There are also people who can do remote viewing, so it's not unique in that sense, but the master's remote viewing ability was high. In addition, I think their ability to materialize objects is unique and outstanding.
