It was very realistic, and I was shouting loudly in the middle of the night. I don't think it was a precognitive dream, but I'm not sure.
I don't know the specific location.
There was a road along the coastline, and I was driving on it. Then, I felt a small earthquake, and although the earthquake itself wasn't that big, I saw a hazy, bubble-like wave in the very distant sea. At first, I thought, "What is that?" I thought it might be a tsunami, but I judged that it wasn't a big deal based on my appearance.
The scene moved on a little, and I was either driving on the same road or had finished some errands and was returning. Then, I looked at the sea again, and the waves were getting bigger. "This is a tsunami..." At that point, I started to think it was dangerous. I was careless before.
I tried to escape by driving, but I realized that the road was broken and difficult to drive on. It seemed possible to drive, but at that time, I chose to abandon the car and climb the hill. I climbed the hill next to the road, using stones as footholds, to escape to a higher place.
I climbed quite high, and I thought, "Is this okay?" But then, the water started to rise quickly and reached me, engulfing me.
The scene ends there.
Another scene. It's the same tsunami, but there was a beautiful three-story house slightly above the coastline near the sea. There was a person who was affected by the tsunami on the third floor, and as things were happening, the water level rose rapidly to the second and third floors of the house, and water entered the room where I was on the third floor, reaching my neck. I thought, "If the water continues to rise, I will drown..." Just before I was about to drown, the water stopped, and then the water began to recede.
At the same time that I thought I was saved, I wondered if this tsunami was over or not, and if another wave might come. However, I didn't see the scene of the second wave.
Instead, I thought, "I'm worried about whether my family is okay," so I tried to call them, but I couldn't get through. Is it because of the radio waves, or have they been washed away? I shouted for my family... and the dream ended there.
・・・・When I was a child, I experienced an out-of-body experience and saw a tsunami. This was different from the dreams I usually have, and it feels like something else. During out-of-body experiences, the dreams are based on real-life situations, but in this type of dream, while some real-life scenes may be used, I feel that a Jungian interpretation is more fitting.
Therefore, I don't think it's something to worry too much about, but I'm making a note of it.
