I am not familiar with that person, so I don't know the actual situation, but based on what I've heard, it seems that person is undergoing the appropriate lessons. Therefore, "elimination" is likely a metaphor, and it's probably best to understand it as erasing the memory from the client's consciousness, or erasing the trauma. While "elimination" is not impossible, the possibility is low, so there is no need to worry too much. There are people who can do such things, but they are not many, and it is not certain that it will happen. However, there are people who, unfortunately, may encounter such a being, and there is a risk that it could happen to them. It is truly rare.
